This spot is amazing. The menu is filled with something for everyone, and the food is delicious. The staff were all welcoming and pleasant. I love the decor here too, makes me reminisce of my visits to Germany years who. If you're looking for good German food you have to try this spot.

The dining experience here is outstanding. Food is delicious, service is friendly and attentive, and I love the atmosphere. My last 2 visits I've had the schnitzel, and the sausage plate. You get a crazy amount of food in each order. I took leftovers back with me after both visits. Decent selection of wine, and an abundance of beers. Both times my servers were beyond attentive even though during my first visit, the bar had a private event happening and the atmosphere was insane, I feared I would never get waited on, but was greeted within minutes. The second visit I was able to sit at the bar after lunch and before dinner, so it was very quiet. I believe the bartender's name was Jennifer. She was awesome. Also love the German kneipen themed restaurant.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon. Although we had a reservation, we probably could have walked right in and gotten seated immediatly. The dining room and bar area are both very attractive with dark woodwork, and we were seated right next to a gorgeous stained glass window. Our server was friendly, knowledgable, and very helpful in telling us what the top menu items are since it was our first time visiting The Student Prince. To start, we ordered the Fried Camembert and the potato pancakes. Both were really good and we would order them again. For my entree, I ordered Paprika schnitzel with spatzle and pan fried potatoes. Yum! It was excellent and the serving size was large enough for left overs. My friend ordered a burger, and although I scoffed at him for not trying something German, his burger did look amazing. We had previously been to a different German restaurant in a nearby town, but we much preferred The Student Prince and will look forward to visiting again when we are back in Springfield.

A little disappointing based on my pasts visits years ago. The Sauerbraten I ordered, I believe, was an eye of the round cut rather than a customery, chuck or Rump Roast which would have been infinitely more flavorful than the eye round. Meat was tender but lacking in flavor and very dry. Spätzle while not bad, I don't think it was made fresh, might have been a frozen product. Nothing wrong with frozen products but fresh is best when doing dumplings. Can't say I picked up on the gingersnap flavor in the gravy either. Rotkohl was very good, however; the real standout was the Sticky Pudding it was phenomenal! Service was good; the ambiance is exceptional, for $91 incl. tip I would have expected more.

The Student Prince is always a worth a visit if you are in Springfield. I tried the Veal Sommer Schnitzel and it was delicious. Oysters Casinos were cooked perfectly. It's a very cool German style restaurant. Shelley, our waitress was friendly and attentive.. I highly recommend making a trip here and enjoying some German beer and great food.

Great place to grab a pint. Lovely ambiance, and personable wait staff! Can't wait to return and try some food items.

It is my fault for coming to a German restaurant and ordering a burger. I was looking for a burger, and there really wasn't a lot open mid day during the week. At least not the day I was here. Student Prince was near my hotel and the reviews were good. Didn't find much about the burger, but they had two on their lunch menu, so thought it would be a good option. I ordered their Haus Cheeseburger sans the garlic aioli and asked for mustard instead. I also went with the tots instead of fries. It came out and looked very impressive. The tots were great. In my opinion, tots are hard to beat. The burger was disappointing. It had caramelized onion on it, that were completely unseasoned, the burger patty was greatly under seasoned, the bacon was sparse and SO thin that it added absolutely nothing to the overall sandwich. I ordered the burger medium and though it was technically correct, it was over cooked on one side and under on the other. The cheddar cheese was placed on the undercooked side and wouldn't melt. Luckily I could pull it away and add some salt to the meat to give it a little something. The service was really friendly and they had tables set up outside which was nice. The weather was perfect to enjoy the outdoors and it was really dark inside. I have coworkers who love this place...but they go on about the German food. So, don't be like me and order the burger.

I usually skip the pretzel, but I'm happy we got it because it was soft and had the perfect amount of salt. The nachos and burger took a super long time to come out. I think they were waiting to bring them out together, but that just led to soggy nachos and a lukewarm burger. The chips that weren't soggy were pretty good and the added chili was good for flavor. Drinks were good! I can't remember the specific one that I got but it was Apple flavored and perfect for the fall. They serve 32 ounce beer mugs and it was hilarious next to my tiny wine glass. I would check them out again if I were in the area and looking for this kind of atmosphere.

It cost $50/hour including shoe rental. Staffing seemed sparse and it really took a while for someone to acknowledge the 2 of us, and no one at least greeted us and let us know they'd help us shortly. It was a Sunday in April and the place was about half full. There are only about 10 lanes. No one ever came over to take a drink or food order but that could've been because I exclaimed how expensive it was for one hour of bowling. According to the April Vacation Special it seemed like I should've gotten apps but all I got was bowling & shoe rental. However, we had fun. The automated scoring, pin setup, ball return were in working order. There's lots of bowling ball weights and finger hole sizes to choose from. There's a GIGANTIC TV with some seating so it was nice to catch the Bruins game after we finished bowling.

It had maybe eight tables, and you'd wait along the wall for a table to open up. You could even bring your own liquor, and the food was absolutely worth it. Not bad, but nothing I'd write home about. I also ordered a drink and asked if it was close to an old-fashioned. The waitress said no, but it literally was an old-fashioned, and I didn't enjoy it. The staff, however, was great very nice and attentive. The chef even made me homemade honey mustard because, let's be honest, I'm a child and have to have honey mustard with my fries. This place was amazing and I'll tell you why... Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is inside the MGM Grand Casino in Springfield so you know it'll be classy. It was chill, relaxed and really easy going. I loved how we could just sit at the bar, play some video poker, sip and have great conversation with others around you. Service: Excellent. We were first greeted by an awesome young lady. I forget her name, but I'll never forget her tattoo. It was Disneyland, but like, zombie versions. Lol. It was the coolest thing and I believe she called it "Death Disney". Wild, but cool. I do however remember Bryan, Cassie and Aiden! Aiden looks like Bruno Mars, Cassie was really sweet and Bryan... well, Bryan was just damn awesome. He chatted with us, told us his story and how he preferred to make drinks... craft style instead of your normal cookie-cutter style cocktails. So some of the drinks I had weren't even on the menu, but came out of his head. Make sure you go see him. For real. Food: Well, they don't serve food here, so we drank! I started off with some wine... you know, some Pinot Noir, 2 glasses to be precise. Then as I loosened up I started getting adventurous. Hennessy is always delicious, but he fun part is when we got Bryan excited! He likes to create and make drinks so I told him to use his imagination and make me a drink with 219 parts. I was obviously joking, but he answered the call! He came through with a Sidecar at first. A Sidecar is basically cognac, orange liqueur and lemon juice. He stuck with the dark liquor theme since I was already drinking dark. He added his own twist and it was delicious, served with this hilariously big ice cube in it. I loved it. Next was the Old Fashioned. It's made with muddled sugar, (which I watched him do), bitters and whiskey with some citrus zest! Another hit! This dude is legit. Like I said, go see that man. Like I said earlier, I want to drive all the way to MGM just to come hang out at this place. I had that much of a good time there. I will be back.
