Wings. Sauce dumped over. Some naked some drenched. Not great.
    Eugene C.

This review is for a Monday night. Sat at bar. Few other people coming and going. Not busy at all. Bartender very attentive and nice. Everyone seemed to know her so it's a local place. Reviews said best wings ever. I have to disagree. Decent size but just dumped the sauce over them. Restaurants need to toss them in sauce. Not just dump some on. Some were naked some were drenched. No flavor consistency some so hot could not eat because they were so drenched. Got the egg rolls. I don't know if they left them in fryer too long or if they are supposed to be that way but they fell apart trying to eat them and they were just not all that good. Place is big inside but it was a slow night. Lots of TVs. Decent beer menu.

Parking: nice location right off 91. Average size lot Decor: what you would expect, sports on behind the bar, music bingo, it's not cozy though, needs color or something... Staff: very friendly bartenders Food: typical bar food, wasn't overly impressed with the menu options Overall: if you want a sports bar with bar food, this is your place!

Nice layout of the bar on side next to where we sat

Such a lively & fun vibe here! Great menu & attentive staff. Was tired after site seeing and this place really energized my. My blueberry cider was the right amount of mild sweet. My hubby enjoyed his Black & Blue. The Shepherd's Pie was comforting, not too heavy, and a good portion . The Asian wings were delicious with nice texture and delicious flavor. Loved the multigenerational music on the jukebox; can also pay to play a song of your choice. So glad we tried this local gem!

Great service with good portions and fresh food. I wasn't sure what to expect, but everything was delicious.

Great visit. Lots and lots of beer options. Clean and bright atmosphere, which doesn't feel very Keltic in style but that's ok. I'm nit-picking. Food was good too. Give 'em a try.

Went for a late dinner at this restaurant. Walked in and the music was blaring...they were playing a music version of bingo! Only lasted about 15 minutes before it was over so the place got quieter pretty quickly. Appears this activity is a draw for the restaurant and it was pretty full. We were seated immediately and left with menus for food and drinks. Our server arrived and took our drink orders. The menu is plentiful with tasty sounding items and should have something for everyone's taste. We ordered the garlic knots, macaroni and cheese and the macaroni and cheese with pulled pork. The garlic knots arrived with plenty of garlic, grated Parmesan, and butter on the plate. The were piping hot, soft and very flavorful. Definitely reorder item for the next visit. The macaroni arrived and was brimming with cheese and coated on top with a cracker crust. The pulled pork on came with a large amount of very tender pork coated with plenty of barbecue sauce. These dishes are definitely comfort food and that's just what it did, made us very comfortable. Pasta was nice and tender and the sauce with it was nice, creamy and plentiful. The portions were so large that we'll have a second meal at home. Server was very friendly and attentive. Seating is predominantly high tops but there are a couple of tables with booth seating which are very comfortable. There will be a return trip if we're in the area.

Great drinks and food. Very lively rustic atmosphere. Staff feel like family. Had the Cod Special, delicious, and homemade German meatballs. They had a German themed night with great unique options. Menu is great.

We had a lovely lunch here and drinks on a Saturday afternoon at the bar. The blackberry bramble was where it's at! The hubs had a smithwicks on tap. Shared a giant pretzel but would have tried the cauliflower too. Had the ultimate grilled cheese minus bacon and it was delish! Got an order of Irish egg rolls to go for dinner later. Was sparkling clean inside bartender was super on point and friendly.

I went here only for drinks so they weren't serving food anymore so I can't review the food but the drinks were really good and good price this place is right next door to a hotel so it's very popular it has two different bars and the bars are really big there's also booths and tables to sit at. All in all it was a really good experience I would love to go back and try the food.

Stopped in on way to airport glad Yelp suggested this place. Great Irish pub theme, really great service, and good food! I had the fish and chips and a Jameson diet. Drink was a good pour which was perfect before the flight home. Fish and chips was a massive serving and perfectly crunchy batter. Bartender was spot on with his recommendations. Food came out really quick they weren't too busy since it was 2pm.

I usually skip the pretzel, but I'm happy we got it because it was soft and had the perfect amount of salt. The nachos and burger took a super long time to come out. I think they were waiting to bring them out together, but that just led to soggy nachos and a lukewarm burger. The chips that weren't soggy were pretty good and the added chili was good for flavor. Drinks were good! I can't remember the specific one that I got but it was Apple flavored and perfect for the fall. They serve 32 ounce beer mugs and it was hilarious next to my tiny wine glass. I would check them out again if I were in the area and looking for this kind of atmosphere.

It cost $50/hour including shoe rental. Staffing seemed sparse and it really took a while for someone to acknowledge the 2 of us, and no one at least greeted us and let us know they'd help us shortly. It was a Sunday in April and the place was about half full. There are only about 10 lanes. No one ever came over to take a drink or food order but that could've been because I exclaimed how expensive it was for one hour of bowling. According to the April Vacation Special it seemed like I should've gotten apps but all I got was bowling & shoe rental. However, we had fun. The automated scoring, pin setup, ball return were in working order. There's lots of bowling ball weights and finger hole sizes to choose from. There's a GIGANTIC TV with some seating so it was nice to catch the Bruins game after we finished bowling.

I start reading about this spot, Student Prince is an authentic German restaurant. I speak fluent beer so my choice is now made up. I had a big lunch so I figured I'd drink a pint of good German beer and a small plate before I'm on my way. Yeah right! My waitress was fantastic, she was suggesting all these great dishes but I didn't have the room. I started with a tap beer and Jägerschnitzel (Schnitzel with Mushroom Gravy, my favorite) the dish came with two sides, sauerkraut and spaetzle. The Jägerschnitzel is a big cutlet, there is a lot of food on my plate. I take a bite of Jägerschnitzel along with some sauerkraut. I take it slow and I was able to knock it all out. The Jägerschnitzel was very good, this is a fantastic spot. The restaurant feels very authentic, from the booths to the bar, they did a great job in recreating a German pub. My waitress kept coming over to make sure I'm ok. She told me to make some room because the Strudel shouldn't be missed. I'm told it's also topped with vanilla ice cream. Another great dish and highly recommended. Student Prince, I don't get the name. I'm glad I found this spot on Yelp. If you want a great German restaurant, Student Prince is a must.

Sole server was hospitable. Lots of items were unavailable when I tried to inquire about them. Drinks were self-serve, but they did deliver food. I opted for the stuffed French toast and tried their home fries to see how they prepped them. Food came out with a little wait. Took my pics and dug in. The French toast, they did try but it was not the best. Cream cheese was as advertised, sweetened and smeared lightly between lightly dipped bread pieces which were grilled on a griddle. Lots of blueberries and a few sliced strawberries. And some powered sugar for decoration. Taste-wise was okay, but was way too bready and not enough seasoning. If I were to advise on how to fix this, make a cream cheese filling with the cool whip and cream cheese, and make it a substantial layer of filling. Macerate the strawberries, and soak the bread a bit longer so the custard can seep in. The home fries were lightly seasoned, cooked through but lacking flavor. I like my home fries to have a bit of a sear to them with crispy browned bits. I also like them to be seasoned a little heavier, or else all you get is a bland potato. Pricing was about 18.50. So not bad for the dishes I ordered. Portion was right, just the quality was lacking. As a little local diner, it fits the bill just fine. You can get eggs and omelettes and the space is nice. Just know it's very basic and you'll be just fine.
