Love this place, we've been there nearly weekly since they moved around the corner from us. We love the staff, owner, food, ambiance and energy! The drink/breakfast specials are fantastic every weekend! Everyone is so nice, helpful, accommodating and never makes us feel rushed even if they're busy or about to close. Can't go wrong with anything on this menu breakfast lunch or dinner!

Nice Irish bar serving up some very good pub grub. I stopped by for a quick burger around 1:15…read moreyesterday as I had an appointment and couldn't linger, I ordered a cheeseburger medium with coleslaw and a beer. My cheeseburger arrived in a matter of minutes from the kitchen delivered by the cook; It was cooked perfectly just as I had ordered and could not have been cooked any better. The burger cheese combo was juicy and flavorful on its own but with the addition of a slice of ripened tomato and onion this burger was well on its way to the cheeseburger Hall of Fame. The coleslaw was not an after thought but was nicely done too with a hearty zesty spicy tang. Good job Brennan's that was a dang good burger!

I wasn't sure what to expect walking into a pub in the middle of downtown nowhere, Massachusetts…read more It was Friday after 5pm, the streets were pretty dead (as is generally the case as I understand it), and I expected to see nothing but factory rejects of some wannabe Hell's Angels club. Yes, it was a buttock-cringing moment as I walked into the place....... ..... and then...... I noticed the very easy-on-the-eyes brunette bartender.... she was a dead-ringer for Lara Flynn Boyle, but much hotter. The crowd was a pleasant, Cheers-esque group of regulars that laughed and drank the day away. It could have been a pub in any-city USA. The great part? Among the beers on tap were the only 2 types I drink: guiness and weiss beers.... LOTS of them. AND..... the bartender was actually nice. She was totally cool. None of the yes-I-know-I-am-hot attitude you find in big-city bitches. The food was awesome too. I had a buffalo-wing salad, while my gimpy pal-recovering-from-gout had a reuben sandwhich. We were surprised to discover that the place does not serve any processed foods, and everything, despite the pub-grub stigma, was pretty damn good quality food. 2 beers, 2 large entrees set us back about $17-ish, which I thought was a miscalculation because I pretty much pay double that in the city..... and did I mention the cute bartender with no attitude? Maybe not a diamond, but perhaps a sapphire or ruby in the rough. And yes, I'll be back.

What a true Irish pub! Loved the atmosphere and the friendly staff!…read more Brussel sprouts were unique and delicious! Sweet savory combo bacon, fig jam, apples and crispy sprouts. The flavors danced on your tongue. Wished we had a few more sprouts. The Cuban Ruben was also a delicious flavor combo. I expected the sandwich to be warm but it was cold. The house made corned beef was perfection (lean, no fat and super flavorful)(wished for a tad more) slaw, fresh homemade pickles all very fresh and delicious! Don't pass on the house made chips, salt & vinegar. These were a delight! We loved it there and will definitely be back. The place had a great crowd and clearly a favorite for many locals. Many local options but this one did not disappoint!

My friend and I were in the area but are not from CT. We saw their menu that they had a beef…read moreWellington and at the very end of the description it said "deconstructed" so I called to check with that meant. The hostess, who was on was very new, and I don't think she fully understood what I was asking. She ended up telling me that, Yes it was a normal beef Wellington. Cool, so excited, don't see those often. We get there, I order it because I already asked for clarification and didn't think I'd need to ask a second time. As we were waiting for our food, I saw some dishes come out from the table across from us and the waitress said, "Here is your beef Wellington". I realized that it was a concept of beef Wellington, but not a traditional beef Wellington, which is what I'd been worried about. We hadn't seen our server in a while so I went over to the bar and let them know that I wanted to cancel my order because it just wasn't what I wanted and the price tag was $60. I've been willing to pay that if it was what I had my heart set on, but it wasn't. They said they would cancel it. In a little bit, someone then came over, not our waitress, to tell me that I will be charged half of the price of the beef Wellington because I canceled it and it was already made. And of course, I was not OK with that. I once again explained to them that I had called and asked if it was a traditional beef Wellington and was told that yes it was. They said that the hosts are not trained on the menu so they cannot answer questions on them. I then asked what is the point of having someone who is untrained on the menu answer your phones because sometimes people are going to ask questions before they choose to come to a restaurant. I refused to pay the $30, she stated she would have to call the manager back because the manager was not on premises that day and see what she could do. In the meantime, they brought out the beef Wellington that they made and tried to entice me to eat it and I of course said no thank you. Finally, they told me I didn't have to pay. I ordered the stew appetizer. It was very small but tasty, and I was pretty hungry at that point so I'm glad I ordered it. Not sure I'd try this place again, but maybe if I lived closer. Not having a manager on premises really made it tough, it was a massive waiting game to get an answer, and I've never heard of a place blame the customer for their knowledge gaps. I definitely will not be going out of my way to come here again.
