Sickening! We wish we could leave negative stars! What an absolute waste of a property with nice views this place is. We went in for the first time today 6/14/26 and it surely will be our last. It was totally dead other than maybe 5-6 customers. When we entered, we wanted to sit on the deck but had to find someone to ask if it's ok to seat ourselves. Finally, the hostess did seat us outside. Our waitress "Cecilia" came over and seemed miffed when we ordered 2 waters to start with and asked for just a couple more minutes to look at the menu (we just started looking at it) She only had one other table with 2 people that we could see outside. But she decided to wait an odd amount of time to come back. When she did, she made some comment like: "Yup, finally decided to return" - something to that effect... So we ordered an unsweetened iced tea (got sweetened tea instead) but we never mentioned it. We also ordered a kielbasa appetizer that SHE recommend, a caesar salad and two orders of chicken wings. One order plain, and my order garlic buffalo. First off, the kielbasa tasted like azz and was simply one small piece sliced down the middle. But we didn't say a word about it. Next, my wife got her plain wings. They were "ok" but very dry. We didn't say a word about that either. However, my wings came loaded with honey mixed with some type of hot sauce (not buffalo) The second she put it down I said, Oh, I wasnt aware there was honey on these? We can not have honey because we're both on a very strict Keto diet, as we explained to the waitress. She then RUDELY explains that this is HOW IT IS "on the menu" and thats what "I ordered" - 100% wrong. I clearly remembered what I ordered and it had zero to do with honey. Then continued on that there is only a "little honey" so its not a big deal. Pretty much saying, so little honey won't effect your precious diets - Basically we were told - we're going to take em' We were also thinking, what restaurant doesn't stock regular buffalo sauce that has wings as a big part of the menu??? Their menu says: "Q" (apparently meaning BBQ) Plain, Honey, or Garlic Buffalo sauce. I paused for a second and accepted the wings which also seemed to piss her off. I did try ONE BITE (one) and it was LOADED with honey and tasted gross anyway. Was a strange flavor.. She did come back with the usual attitude because she noticed me not eating anything (I think) I tried to explain that we didn't like them but she DEMANDED that THIS..... is "what I ordered" it wasn't.... I ordered garlic buffalo sauce, NOT honey. So she **reluctantly* takes them away after BOTH my wife and I told her that we don't like, or want them multiple times. Then she mumbled something about the menu and the fact that they ONLY offer buffalo sauce/honey mix and they DO NOT offer "just Buffalo" (without) honey. Our menus had been taken away so we couldn't double check while we we seated at that moment. She was NASTY during our entire visit. Not just nasty, more importantly WRONG - as the menu -clearly indicates- regular buffalo sauce. We checked it as we were leaving! This was far from the end though. As we were walking to our truck, we were "engaged" by an angry "Cecilia" yelling down at us from the upper back deck. She was LIVID that we didn't leave enough tip, which we've NEVER done in the past. So we ended our "nice lunch" with a shouting match. She told us how (great) the service was, and I objected to that fact saying..... well, your service actually sucked, and you should REALLY read your own menu before preaching to customers that they're in the wrong for not reading the menu properly. Fun Sunday afternoon! No wonder why the place looked like a ghost town inside. After feeling like we were bullied for 45 minutes I finally told her what I thought of her and the food with a few choice words which we do not regret. Never seen such a thing in our lives. I'm going to email the owner but I have a feeling they already know what they are. Seems like they have a trend that if you"dare" to say something about bad..... anything, then you're told to f-off as another reviewer wrote on google.

For the love of god if you're even an hour away, take the drive! My boyfriend and I came from New York to visit family and came across this beautiful gem! The view, the food and the service! (Thank you Emma for your hospitality and humor) we had the French onion soup, wings, brisket poutine, meatballs and macaroni and cheese. I could only wish i can teleport for the wingssssss!!! Jesus! The chef is creating magic back there. lol.

We enjoyed our dinner at Tavern on the Hill. We were seated promptly, and this was quite surprising because there was nine of us. We looked over the menu and decided to start with drinks. I had a rum and Diet Coke and it was perfect. We then ordered our dinner. I had the pulled pork platter, which was delicious and everybody was commenting on how delicious the dinner was. We enjoyed our time at the restaurant and it was very good.

Hot and hangry on deck, I have no food, no fan, no sympathy!

Service was friendly and helpful and apologetic and sympathetic. Waitstaff was spot on, selling appetizers pushing drinks, smiling and friendly. Kitchen staff was understaffed and not able to keep up with the dinner rush, never mind a sunny Holiday Saturday night. The manager apologized and brought the food after about an hour and a half wait. Ambiance; nice view, bring your sunglasses, and ask for cold drinks because it can be hot on the deck in the sun. Don't wait to ask for a manger. Expect nothing and be pleasantly surprised. Food is not worth the wait, fatty meats gave me upset stomach.

Some of the best BBQ on the East Coast!!! My friends & I discovered this place after a long hike in Russel last year. We drove up 2 and a half hours from RI to come back!!! The food is insane, the selection of sauces are incredible (my favorite is the sweet & spicy Pig Glaze), you cannot beat that view either!! The first time we went we got pretty lucky, this time we made reservations and there was a line at the door before they even opened! Waitstaff are so kind and so good at what they do!! This will be a little ritual for us every year now!! Thank you

The brisket was my absolute favorite--so tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. When we arrived, the place was full, which honestly had me betting big that the food would live up to the hype--and it absolutely did. Even the other customers were friendly, and the staff was just as welcoming. My fiancé and I shared the two-meat platter, and thank goodness we did--it was more than enough food. We were stuffed and still had leftovers (which I'm very much looking forward to eating again). If we ever pass through this way again, I'll definitely be making him stop here. Ribs very beefy and excellent. Mac and cheese needed stronger multi cheese blend, maybe a few toasted breadcrumbs on top ? Cucumber salad needed a pinch of sugar to sweeten up the vinegar . Corn bread ok , needs more flavor with real corn mixed in, lose the paper wrappers and bake in pans directly ... or change to a biscuit with honey butter . The ribs smaller and drier ? 2 different food prep guys this time and noticed difference from visit day before? I did try one smoked wing this visit and wing wax excellent smoke tender wing. I think k things improved since the Worcester location closed? It still can be excellent food one time and an average or worse the next visit... inconsistent When the Brisket is on ... it is great stuff When it is off... dry underwhelming... They should make a brisket or burnt end hash as option ... Redbones bbq in Boston used to do a brisket hash that was excellent and unique .

They have both a BBQ and a Polish specialties section and, unable to decide between the choices, we got both the Polish Dish (a combo for only $10?!) and the more "expensive" of the BBQ combo plates ($13 compared the other $11 and $12 combo options). The Polish Dish has pierogi, kielbasa, sauerkraut, stuffed cabbage and a side of rye bread and sour cream - we got this one with the optional mustard and horseradish. For the BBQ we got brisket (soooo good) and steak tips. The sides were beans and mac and cheese (all small but good) and cornbread. This dish allowed you to pick two sauces, so I did! Somehow we got a bag of chips on top of this - daily special? No idea but will enjoy those when I make up the leftovers in a sandwich. We will 100% be back.

For a "BBQ" place, Theodore's covers all of the usual bases - pulled pork, beef brisket, Baby Back Ribs, Short Ribs, St Louiis style ribs, chicken and sausage too. For those in the mood for something else, they also offer a couple of salads, and a tasty sounding Blackened Chicken Penne, burgers and incongruously, a smoked meatloaf dinner too! I'm a fan of meatloaf, but for this evening, I chose to stick with their staples and thus, the Baby Back Ribs plus my sides of chili and mac n cheese arrived soon upon our table. The Ribs were quite nearly fall-off-the-bone, moist and flavorful - I enjoyed slathering the ribs in the default BBQ sauces in squeeze bottles on our long dining table. PRO TIP: My compatriots who ordered the beef brisket found it dry and not to their liking. Maybe it was just that night.. who knows.. Either way, I wouldn't mind coming back.. Nothing too outstanding, but the ribs were certainly on point for me!

Randomly found this food truck parked in another lot during the off season. Seems like the only…read moresource of information on this place is directly on their website that gets updated maybe twice a year. Haven't found a facebook page or anything else. Waited and kept checking to see when they would open and finally they did in June. Showed up and they only take cash, no meat combo meals, had to be a half rack of ribs, and menu was almost exclusively burgers and fries. So I gave my hopes up and figured this place must not be worth it. Happened to be driving by one day and happened to have cash on me. Figured I'd check it out just to know for certain what I was missing. Just so happened that a meat combo was the "Special" of the day. 1/4 rack and pulled pork which was pretty much all they had for actual "BBQ" stuff. I don't consider burgers part of BBQ. And now I'm looking at their menu online which has been updated and they now serve Brisket on Friday and Saturday nights. And they change up their sides every week. Happened to catch them with Baked Beans and Pasta Salad that day. Ribs were 3 bones for a 1/4 rack. Slathered and char grilled quite a bit, which are 2 things I don't want on ribs. But damn it was good for a charred rib. Meat was as tough as you expect it to be for a rib all charred up but the sauce had a sweet fun heat kick to it. The kind of heat that doesn't burn at all but it feels like it might. Fruity sensation to it too. Other parts were a bit more tender and I think the original pork flavor gets a little lost in these ribs. With the char and the sauce it was hard to find a real good pork flavor but it was still very good. Pulled Pork was exactly how it was supposed to be, not completely torn apart, still big chunks that are soft and easy. Seasoned well, very moist, great pork flavor and seasoning flavor. Exactly the kind of pulled pork I want. Side of sauce wasn't completely necessary but I tried it on the pork. Thick style, I don't think it was the same stuff as on the ribs. But it was sweet and slow and did it's job. Pasta Salad was excellent. This was legit homemade Italian grandma olive oil style. Cut up peppers, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, Fussilie pasta. Flavor and texture made the stuff so easy to eat I could have just face planted myself into it. Beans looked amazing. Obviously some pulled or shredded meat, I want to say brisket. Maple and Brown Sugar flavors hit the tongue instantly, It was crazy. Tiny hint of smokey flavor from the brisket. Pinto beans could have used a tad bit longer in the pot but it wasn't a deal at all, just a preference. Slaw had a great sweet vinegar taste like any good slaw would. Pretty much only cabbage shreds but honestly who can tell the taste between carrots and radish when they've been pickling in the same juice. Slaw was gone before I could even think about it anymore ... so that should tell you something. Surprisingly good food truck. I just hate that it's cash only, I completely understand why, and that the sides change every week and it's not updated anywhere. But I will have to go back and try their burgers and fries and brisket and hotdogs soon.

Sides on our visit included cole slaw, fries, cucumber salad, and baked beans. The half-rack of 8 ribs was generous, meaty, smoky, with a very nice, sweet, southern-style sauce brushed-on and also provided as a bonus dip. While the *flavors* were lovely in the slaw, beans, and BBQ sauce, the cuke salad had very little if any dressing, the beans seemed undercooked, and the ribs were overcooked. Ribs should be fall-off-the-bone tender, and we had to tear at every bone. Mind you, we picked them clean because, again, the flavor was good. But definitely overly dry, indicating a too-hot, too-fast cooking this time out. Easy-to-miss this BBQ trailer tucked into the far leafy corner of White's Sugar House & Farm Stand parking lot just before Route 202 if you're going east on Route 119. There aren't always practical street addresses in this mostly rural area, and the old farm sign is all but buried by the surrounding tree growth in summer. Slow up as you approach the lighted intersection, and keep your eyes peeled for the Old Fitzwilliam Rd street sign, even though it's just the driveway. Despite the dry ribs, we prefer indie places to chains, so we are still glad to have tried it. Southern sauce this good is harder to come by up north.
