Decent beer list but the food is as basic as a microwave can handle. I've tried several items including BBQ, pizza and Shepard pie- all are pre prepared, loaded with garlic and over priced. You can get a better flat bread pizza in the frozen section.at any supermarket. Also they do not have prices on the beer list which is a little odd. Drinks were good. Waitress came over and told us our food was "bumped" after we waited 40 minutes. I asked her what that meant and she ignored me and walked away. We asked the manager for a better explanation and she came over and not only gave us our meals no charge but said the waitress had forgot to put our order in. So rather than taking responsibility for her mistake, walking away when I asked her when I asked her a question, she felt the need to lie to us. I want to start off by saying I love this place. I often go on dates here with my spouse and personally love the beet salad and they have fantastic bone in wings. I would not recommend getting their Brussels sprouts. $14 for 7full Brussels sprouts and the rest is crisp leaves that have fallen off the Brussels sprouts. We have been to this place a few times before and mostly got burgers. Tonight my aunt and I decided to try to the short rib shepherds pie. It was absolutely delicious. Peas, corn, and nice Demi glacé. I would have liked something else with the meal for paying $27 but the meal was excellent. Service was good. The food came timely and was hot but ready to eat. The location has a good layout and is not too bright. If at capacity, it can be slightly loud but just people talking like normal. We were in and out in about an hour, maybe a little less. This is on our semi regular list as a solid spot to go with or without reservations. Great add to the area after Red Robin closed a few years ago. Will be back for sure. read more

My sister and I visited last week before Christmas. I had the Tuna Melt & she had the brisket grilled cheese. Both were delicious. I also had the butternut squash soup and it was served lukewarm and tasted terrible...a sweet not savory soup w/no explanation of that on the menu. We sat at the bar and were disappointed in our bartender's service. She was young, not a happy camper and only smiled when serving the men at the bar. She didn't like answering menu questions and really wasn't accurate with the information she provided. The restaurant and bathroom were clean but very cold! We found it hard to stay warm where we sat. I will return to explore more of the menu but hope management does more training with their bartenders to improve service. Husband and I orderedthe half rack of ribs. They were so tuff I couldn't even cut them apart with a steak knife. My husband managed to get some meat off of his. The corn bread was stale. So, I'll lead with the positives. Place looked clean and was inviting. The staff was nice. Plenty of parking. Sadly, that's it. We came in at like 11:30 on a Sunday morning, sort of between brunch and lunch. It was FREEZING inside. Even those of us who tend to run warm, were freezing. We were a small group, most of us got breakfast food. It took quite a while for the food to get to us, and mine was cold. The hash browns were barely brown and had no flavor. The bacon was barely cooked, even when asked upon ordering to make it crispy. And we waited. And waited. And waited for our check. One member of our party had also placed a to-go order to bring home. She waited for that order the entire time we were there... over 3 hours. Some of it was us chatting, but most of it was waiting for food, waiting for our check, waiting for them to pick up our checks, and finally bringing our receipts and cards back... and my friend was still waiting for her to-go meals. For only a month into the business I would say they did a pretty good job overall. Host was nice and when asked what she would recommend she said the chicken broccoli alfredo. I asked our waitress the same question and she too said chicken broccoli alfredo. My sibling ordered it and said the chicken needed more seasoning. My other sibling had a burger and had no complaints. My brother in law ordered the sweet chili shrimp bowl, the order came out something completely different, waitress brought it back and whom I believe was the restaurant manager brought over a cup of the soup of the day in apologies for the mess up. I came here a total of 4 times so far, the 2 times we actually ate here were great. The other 2 times we didn't even order any food. The first bad experience they seemed short staffed and the manager recommended us going somewhere else due to the wait. The other bad experience we had was this past Mother's Day where we sat down and then was later told they had no burger buns, ribs, fries or veggie burgers. Which we found crazy for it being holiday and it only being 6 o'clock. I understand veggie burgers being limited but no burger buns and fries for a pub was wild. But to highlight the good over the bad, the 2 times when I actually did eat here, the food was delicious! I got the nachos for the appetizer which were pretty decent, the Queso sauce being the highlight. I got the half rack of ribs with the cauliflower and cornbread and they were amazing. I highly recommend the cauliflower Mac as it was my favorite thing there, being cheesy and extra tasty! The ribs were cooked perfectly and the sauce was nice and tangy! The beer options they provided were great too, a lot to choose from. The second time I came here, I got the same thing and loved it again! They now give the cornbread on the side and you can receive a second side, which I ordered the sweet potato fries. The hospitality and ambience was enjoyable those two times, which is why I'll still go back. Overall, still recommend trying this place out if you haven't! read more

We came for a weekday late lunch. This restaurant was comfortable, clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. We were greeted and seated right away and our server came out take drink orders promptly. Drinks came quickly and she asked if we were ready to order. The menu is interesting and we wanted 'chat up' our decisions a bit more - our server was very accommodating. Our food - once we ordered [smash burger, onion rings, brisket burnt ends, BBQ baked beans, shepherds pie] it arrived reasonably fast and looked good. But that's when our disappointment started - the burnt ends were not burnt ends and clearly had heavy layers of white uncooked fat; the smash burger was flat tasting with no char on it; the beef in the shephard's pie had not been trimmed and much of it were simply large pieces of fat. We have been here several times and have found the food excellent. Some things are a little pricy but most recently we went in after 2pm for a late lunch early diner and decided on appetizers. Upon arrival, a sign said $10.00 appetizers but we found out after receiving our bill, it was only some appetizers and not all. We were told by the wait staff they would adjust our bill as it was not our fault. They did not adjust, so a word of caution, watch the prices for the so-called specials. The food is really good. They have interesting options. The service is awful. Every time I've eaten here, water refills are non existent. It's typical to only see the server 5-10 minutes after being seated, then 20-30 minutes after the food runner drops plates off. One visit, we ordered an appetizer. It never arrived and the server offered to get it after she noticed us eating our entrees. Good looking newer place. When we arrived little less than half the restaurant was empty. But there was a 30 minute wait. Once seated our waiter came after we were there for 10 minutes. He came by two more times in the next few minutes asking if we wanted drinks which we ordered when he returned with drinks he just dropped them and walked away. We did not have any adult beverages I had a coke and it tasted like swamp water. When he finally returned again I asked for a new coke as there was something wrong with the first one. Nope just terrible coke , flat no bubbles weak no syrup. He came back again and asked if we had any questions. Questions were can we order ? I ordered the brisket with two sides The rest of my party all ordered burgers (each was different) then we waited , and waited after 40 minutes we had to ask if the food would be coming soon ? 15 more minutes food finally arrived. It looked good. Grabbed a pickle of my daughter's plate and it was one of those perfect deli pickles like you'd get from a NY DELI My plate had cornbread with my meal. The cornbread was fantastic. However those were the only two things that were any good. The brisket was as dry as I have ever had even with bbq sauce slathered all over it. Onion rings were so over cooked the onions had basically cooked away and weren't present under the batter fries were like bottom of the bag fragments While eating two other parties who had sat down around the same time had asked multiple times where their food was. Got up and left. The rest of my party's burgers (8oz. ) were tiny little burgers on large buns that all said were not really very good. Just as we were finishing there was a 10 minute power outage which delayed us getting our check. Power was restored and we got our check and waited and waited to pay. Until my wife finally got up went to the back of the restaurant to find someone who could cash us out. If I could give this less than one star I would. read more

We tried the Hot & Honey cheese bite's and some wings. The cheese bites were hollow and as hard as a rock and resembled a dried out sea urchin. The wings were ok but the rub was added at the end it seems and only dusted a few wings and was mediocre. I would not recommend either. Fries were good but extremely small quantity . They come in a little steel basket but fill the basket.... In fact they should over fill so that they spill on to the serving platter. Seriously how much could 10-15 more fries cost? For $18 let's be real.... Flat Bread Pizza was ok but needed a little more chicken and sauce/topping. Tasted more bread than chicken/bacon/ranch. Ambiance seems great....however, I've been here 3 times. The week they opened everything was perfect. The food was fantastic and perfectly cooked. Service was spot on. Food perfect temp. I told my sister to come with me the second time and couldn't wait for her to try the food and the wonderful service. It was like night and day. We had some drinks that were awful. Sent back and redone. Nope. Finally we decided not to drink and stuck with water. The food came out cold and dried up. My sister said she would never go there again and couldn't believe this was the same place I had described. I will say the manager came out and asked us to come back and apologized for everything. We tipped the waitress because it was not her fault and she was great. Almost a year has gone by and went there today for brunch. Yes it was busy. We did not mind waiting. What I did mind was not being acknowledged. The waitress finally came over and took our order. We ordered the home run, a big strike actually. The plate had 2 pieces of bacon, 3 overcooked medium eggs and an English muffin that was not toasted or grilled, a scoop of I think were hash browns. All cold. A separate pancake that was so gross and not fluffy like a pancake should be. A very nice young man came and brought us our food as the waitress was no where to be found. He even came back to check on us. I figured at some point the waitress would check on us but that never happened. When the waitress did come back she didn't say a word and proceeded to take our plates. I get being busy but she said nothing. This was the only time she came back at the end of our meal. When I told her it would have been nice if you checked on us she looked stunned. Just said she was busy. I asked her who the young guy helping her was and she didn't know. I said he was out here more than you were. She got very defensive and said you attacked me and I said sorry already. I will never be back again. Would not recommend them or their food. Definitely not their service. The young guy though was the only bright spot. Seemed very caring. He was the only reason we did not send out food back. I get being short staffed but a kind word and "thank you for your patience" goes a very long way. She was not really out on the floor with any other customers so I'm not sure what happened. Huge beer selection with a healthy amount of rotating taps. Good drink selection too. Menu is great. I wish the prices were less but the food is good and worth it. They have from fancy fish/rice bowls to great burgers to chicken tenders and everything in between. Their margarita pizza is amazing! There bar area is great, tons to TV giving an upper class sports bar vibe(which I love and say in a good way) but they also have a less sporty area off to the side that seems to be more traditional family oriented. My wife and I just wrapped up a long day of tag sales and dropped off van rental at Home Depot. We decided to have an early dinner and stopped at Local Table N Tap. It was around 4p so the crowd was light. We were seated promptly Local is a sports bar and restaurant. This weekend were the opening games of the NCAA college baseball World Series. There are plenty of big screen TVs to enjoy a multitude of sorts events. Anyway enough about the vibe. Our server, Lynn, brought us some refreshing ice water and took our order. My wife and I try to share whenever we can. The portions at Local are on the larger size. We ordered two iced teas, two appetizers- the BBQ burnt ends and the Spud Sampler, and the fish and chips entree which we would split. Because we were sharing we had the food brought out together. The BBQ burnt ends were melt in your mouth tender and delicious. The spud sampler was stack of French fries, sweet potato fries, and tots under warm blanket of cheese, garnished with tomato and bacon. It was good, but pedestrian. The fish dinner had two nice sized filets that were very moist and flaky. The beer batter was crispy and had a nice flavor. Over the dinner was satisfying and a cut above much of the local fair. Cost like everything else these days was a little pricey, but the quality was worth it. ~ $60 plus a ~$12 tip. read more

1. I have been here dozens of times. 2. I LOVE their food. 3. Usually the servers are always courteous and friendly and make it enjoyable to be there. Today around noon, on 4/28 we went in for lunch. There was a party of 3 at the bar, party of 1 at the bar, party of 2 and party of 1 occupying the outside dining tables and my party of 2 in a booth. We were greeted nicely and shown to our table where we then waited for 17 minutes for a server to come to our table to take a drink order or even acknowledge our presence. No one ever came to our table. There were two servers and a bartender. The bartender was taking care of the 4 people at the bar, so 2 servers for the other handful of patrons there. Our table was just flat out ignored. It was actually very odd. I could see if we had been rude or something but that would've required someone to have actually spoken to us.....Clearly they were having trouble with only 7 patrons there; we didn't want to add to the burden of more people to serve so we just left without a server ever coming to our table...17 minutes waiting with only 7 other people there...unacceptable. I know the owner would NEVER condone that service, or lack thereof as it were. read more

They have a lot of smokehouse options as well, such as brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork; we got the burnt ends and they were a great appetizer. The first time I came here everything was great even though the hostess had said they were short staffed that day, you could never tell. The second time I came here though, our waitress forgot to put our appetizer in, so we got our entrees first and we then had to question where our appetizer was. She also forgot to bring milk for our toddler when asked. Was not too happy with the service that time. The place wasn't too busy either, the waitress just seemed more occupied socializing with coworkers. How do you cut this up in a bowl of rice and quinoa. Was I supposed to pick it up? I had to request a plate to avoid my rice and quinoa from going all over the place when I cut it.
