Food is delicious and servers are so friendly. It's our go to place! Never had a bad meal here.

Had heard really good things from two friends, so stopped in yesterday for lunch on the way home from East Longmeadow. Sat at the bar, where 5 others were also having lunch. Jacob brought over my drink order and a menu. Lots of good options, and I ended up ordering a Bond burger w crispy fries. The burger was perfectly cooked, and the brioche bun held together well. Jacob mentioned they get their meat from Arnold's, which has a rep of being one of the best, if not THE best meat purveyors in the region. Burger had a nice charbroiled flavor. The fries... I don't know how to describe them except to say in my top 2 all-time. Crunchy on the outside, like they were coated (with what?, not sure). If you read my Yelp profile, you'd know that I believe ketchup is a vegetable. I have been known to put ketchup on my ketchup. Not with these fries. I ate them naked (the fries, not me thankfully). One quibble. I thought the bottle of Stella's, at $6.50, was a bit high. Next time, and their will be a next time (Jacob mentioned prime rib on Thursdays), I'll stick to a draft beer. All-in-all, one of the best burgers and some of the best fries I've ever had. And the music was at a good decibel level (and included really good songs). Definitely recommend. 5 stars! read more

Amazing food, Extremely nice service..We split a Bond Burger and a Corned Beef Ruben.. phenomenal. Was the best meal we had out this year. Homemade Potato chips will put any Fries to shame. First timer here! So happy I finally got to enjoy some delicious food! I had the garlic butter grilled shrimp over risotto served with grilled vegetables. My husband had the porchetta dinner which was served with roasted red potatoes and a side salad which was plentiful. Both items were on the specials and scrumptious! I went there last month with my girlfriend. We decided to sit out on the patio, which has its own bar and several tables. I sat at the bar to start, and the bartender introduced herself and got me my beer. When my girlfriend arrived, we decided to move to a table, and unfortunately that was when the good service stopped. To start, the bartender essentially disappeared from the bar for extended periods of time. When she was there, she focused on the couple of people at the bar, chatting with them, etc., so we were on our own for service. On two occasions, I had to leave our table looking for service because the bartender was MIA. The second time I was quite pissed off that I had to go into the interior dining area looking for a server. A third time I needed service, while we were dining, I didn't even bother looking for help - no staff were out there - and just helped myself to some napkins stacked in a service shelf. This place isn't bad - not fantastic food or beer, but good and worthwhile, and the patio decor is nice. The interior is clean, though smaller than the patio area. But the bartender needs to first spend more time behind the bar and second unlock her attention from the regulars, and the servers need to get their asses outside more often, especially when its busy out there. The patio had several tables of customers by the time we ordered food, while interior dining area was dead, and I still had to go off on server searches. I doubt we'll go back there (it's out of our way), but I've heard from a couple other folks, including a Somers resident, that service there can be iffy. And service is *so* important to any restaurant/tavern. People remember bad service more than substandard food. So if they can address that, I think Bond 124 will be a much better place. read more

We having been coming here for years and the food, service and ambience always is excellent. our latest visit was on 6/12/25 and we were fortunate to have Hannah A. as our server. She was friendly and efficient. The food, as always, was delectable. We were able to partake of the arancini balls, chicken wings and a pizza. Shout out to Sol(I hope I got the name right) ...you make an awesome pizza! Jacob that strawberry marguerita went down very smoothly. Over the years, we have enjoyed many different menu items....prime rib, steak, chicken, fish and chips...all are absolutely wonderful. Fun place for a happy hour. If you are looking for a place to sit outside and enjoy the late afternoon sun this is the place to come. Chloe was very sweet and made sure we were well taken care of. Our foursome had an order of wings, sliders, meatballs, arancini and a side of fries. Everyone had a cocktail and the entire bill was under $60. Now a days that is quite a good deal. Really good food and service. Ashley was super responsive and great with meal recommendations. My Ruben sandwich was really good. Wife loved her shrimp pasta meal as well. Lively place. First time to Bond 124 for dinner, sat on the patio. Self seating caused a bit of confusion to the staff. Extremely courteous staff, with excellent managers watching over the newer employees to ensure a satisfactory experience. We chose the calamari as an app, as I saw others posted it was very good, and it was excellent (see picture). The pizza order took two tries to get the correct order, which ended up be good, I would say average. All in all a nice night out and will return again. read more

I just had the best meal prepared for us in a long, long time. My husband and I were overdue for a "Date Night In," having gotten stuck in the "let's do chores til we conk out" cycle every weekend. I wanted to have as real a date as my medically isolated self could get. I even set the table and played smooth jazz. ;) We ordered around 5pm on a Saturday night and had zero problems with ordering or wait time. Within a half hour, I'd plated the meals and we sat to eat. Backing up for a sec, the food was bagged and packaged so neatly...and it arrived hot (even though my husband had a short drive home). I had the grilled caesar salad (half romaine, capers, house dressing), which is a menu staple. Mmmmmm, there is just something about that grilled romaine. It makes the greens tender but still leaves a satisfying crunch. And that hint of charring put the flavor over the top. Paired with capers, shaved parmesan, and a tangy house dressing, it was a most elevated salad. I'm making that my regular order. I also noticed on the Bond 124 Facebook page some posts of previous specials, so I'd asked when I called. Tonight's all sounded fantastic, but I chose the two crab cakes with chipotle aoli. Okay, I'm picky with my crab cakes. Ya gotta do seafood good, amiright? These were perfection! Two fat and flaky crab cakes encased in a tasty crust, I squeezed a slice of fresh lemon on them, cut off a slice, and dipped it into the aoli. Oh, my...heaven! While I love a hot chipotle, this low medium was the best level to enjoy the crab and get a little zing. EXCELLENT choice! I will keep an eye out for the specials here, as the chefs seem to know their stuff. My husband, a man of few words when it comes to food, said his beer battered cod with fries was "seriously good, and I'd have it again." He even ate the coleslaw, declaring it "tasted fresh, like my mom used to make." Awwww. There you have it! Just like the moms. So we had not just a good meal but an excellent meal, with satisfying portions, at a very fair price (under $35, which is crazy good for two adults), cooked up and served by really, really good folks who care about their guests--even the ones who have to eat at home. Stopped in for an impromptu girls lunch. We were warmly greeted and seated inside. We enjoyed a grilled Caesar salad with a glass of Montipulciano wine. Salmon or chicken could have been added but we chose to eat light and declined. Large portion of freshly grilled romaine half with a delicious and zesty dressing and a slice of focaccia bread. Stopped by this morning for New Years Brunch. Greeted warmly at the door and seated immediately. We did have reservations, but you know how that can go sometimes, especially on holidays, but they were ready for us, which was appreciated. Melissa, our server, also greeted us warmly, and immediately set us up with some mimosa's and coffee. She explained how the buffet worked so we went up and found the food selection to be very nice. Carved roast beef and ham, chicken french, stuffed shells, eggs, bacon, home fries, made to order omelettes, and waffles. Everything tasted wonderful. Another Enfield area restaurant with over 4 stars that tasted like feet in a warm pool. Either this area has a way refined palette that is beyond my understanding or they have been conditioned to rate places that are less than average higher than they should because it's all that is available. The wings were certainly chicken. The nachos were awful and had zero taste. I was warned by the bartender that they were "huge". They were not. If that was huge then I'm Andre the Giant. Fries were your average bar fries. My neighbor at the bar had pizza that looked underdone and doughy. I don't know. I'm starting to feel like I'm in food hell. read more

Food was good but not worth the wait The evening manager was aware of a reservation for 18 women for drinks and lunch. I requested a second waitress at the time of reservation.The waitress on duty had the entire restaurant and outside patio. She was phenomenal and well tipped. She didn't receive help from bartender/manager!!!! Then after two more waitresses show up and hang around with one table each. So sad because everyone was looking forward to going and experiencing a new restaurant. Extremely poor management and bad decision making to lose the potential of 17 new customers by not putting on a second waitress. Our waitress did not complain and was extremely pleasant. We stopped in after a morning of estate sales. We were starving. The server recommended the nachos. They were the best either of us had ever had. Not one chip in the massive bowl was without heaps of meat cheese or tomato. The wait staff were beyond amazing. Our server was extremely friendly and engaging. A Party of 10 and everyone stepped in to make the night amazing. 4-course dinner. Food staggered so we weren't rushed. Servers/owners kept us in the loop as to when the next course was being prepared. 4 pm- 9 pm is well worth the time and I wouldn't have asked for a better place to spend it with an amazing group of guys. We went here for the first time and really enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly and our server was very attentive. The happy hour is a pleasant surprise and the food is very good. The atmosphere is nice and the bar looks nice too. The only reason I didn't give the 5th star is the menus. The physical menus are sticky and just feel gross. They need to be replaced or at least cleaned more thoroughly/frequently. It's almost 2022 and QR code menus are the new norm, so not sure why that's not available. Other than that, no complaints! Well, I have a 2-hour wait at the Enfield DMV waiting for my temporary registration plates to be ready (for the 2008 Buick Lucerne, which has been sitting in my garage for 4 years) so I'm checking this nearby place in Somers (about 3-4 miles away). There is a restaurant, patio, bar and tap room here. Starting it out with a Powder Hollow Hop Hazard Double IPA (mildly bitter, citrusy, fruity hop-like character with notes of pineapple 9.2 ABV). Very good. Strong too. The Powder Hollow Brewery is literally 1,000 feet from here! The employees here are all Italian too (Carmine, Rango, etc.) and very welcome (shook my hand). For my appetizer, I am trying the crab stuffed mushrooms (golden baked crimini mushrooms). The patio here (on the far left) is newly refinished and very big. There is a bar and mini kitchen out there as well. I'm impressed already. Everyone tells you their name. The server (Rango) is knowledgeable and good at what he does. The appetizer came out piping hot (bubbling) with some lemon covered with parsley to sprinkle upon it. He follows up to see if you like it. For my next item, I am trying the Roasted Beet Salad (beets sliced and served over mixed greens with candied cashews and balsamic vinaigrette dressing in place of ranch). Another interesting thing here. The server (Rango) knows my name, which I only told to the host (Carmine). That means Carmine told Rango. This is a very personable place! For my main meal, I am having the hot Jack Daniel's Pulled Pork sandwich with coke slaw (in place of chips), a pickle, cheddar cheese (recommended) on a water roll. Rango (server) is also the bartender. Of course, it's lunch and quiet in here (2 tables so far). So now the server asks me if I'm from Florida. Florida?! Oh wait. The license plate on my rental car. How observant! It is parked directly opposite the front door so he he can see the plate. He must know the other parties vehicle too. This is really nice. The knife sticking in the sandwich, higher quality pickles and cole slaw in a bowl with a slice of lemon. Just the right amount of BBQ sauce! I'm impressed! I'm very disappointed. Yesrerday, we chose Bond 124 to gather with family after a family members funeral. It was not our first choice, but the other restaurant was closed for vacation. We had remembered attending a grad party at Bond in May that was fabulous, so we thought we would give it a try for lunch. It was about 12:30 p.m. on a Friday. There was one other table occupied and maybe one or two people at the bar. Our waitress was great at first, came right over, brought waters and provided menus. We ordered drinks, which she quickly got confused with, but we thought nothing of it. We placed our order and began our wait. About 20 minutes later, Sam came to the table and asked if we wanted our food orders brought all at once or as they were made because the cheese buger and chicken sandwich ordered was already cooked. We said sure, bring them out as they are made, assuming they would just be a few minutes apart. Nope! First of all, she brought out the cheesebuger and not the chicken sandwich. At least 15 minutes later, the deep dish pizzas ordered came out. At this time, she informed me my soup (which I ordered as my meal) was not available. I asked Sam what soups she did have, and she responded, "I don't know" (Not let me check). When I pushed to know, she huffed off and went to look. Now we had to ask for the chicken sandwich that still hadn't been brought out, at which time she said it was coming soon. We are now at least 30 minutes since the first meal hit the table, and I still didn't have my bowl of soup. Finally, the chicken sandwich came out, and still no soup. When my soup finally came out, everyone else at our table had already finished eating. Due to the sad event that brought us together in the first place, I didn't bother complaining, but to say we will not be back or recommend this restaurant is an understatement. Let me start by saying: I want Somers to have a good, very good or great restaurant at this location. I really want this place to succeed. Last night after staying away for 9 months, I gave Bond 124 another shot. In order to have an apples to apples comparison, we sat in the same booth and ordered the same calamari dish that was bad in May 2016. 9 months later, the calamari had improved only slightly. It just has way too much breading and the weight of the breading pulls itself off the calamari. The calamari was unidentifiable under the mass of breading. We could not eat our one serving between 3 guys. We were there at 9m on a Saturday night. No one was at the bar. They have a monster selection of beers on tap, the bar is beautiful, and there was a band and still there was no crowd. BTW, the band was awesome. I wish this was a positive review as this place is walking distance from my home and I drive past it every day. It could not be more convenient. I still hope it improves, for the sake of their business and Somers. I won't be going back. I hope I see the band again. read more

It is great to see Bond 124 always packed! It makes me happy to see a local business full and busy. I have been here a couple times and have had a find time. Nothing amazing, but not bad at all. The staff is nice enough. They won't go out of their way for you (especially the bartenders I have come across) but they will be attentive and kind. Almost every time I am there and I sit at a table, instead of the bar, I do find that something is messed up with my order. Examples of that: They couldn't make me the drink I wanted. They didn't have the drink I wanted. I asked for no bread in my french onion soup and I got the bread in my soup. I asked if a certain sauce was spicy - they said no - it absolutely was spicy. etc. The menu very rarely changes. They have some tasty staples and not much more. I have been impressed with their chicken and their scallops. Overall this is a place the checkout if you like a local vibe and aren't looking for anything amazing. read more
