Covid seating was good. The restaurant is definitely trying to follow the rules.The problem was the wait time for service and food. We waited at least 10 minutes before someone took our drink order and i had to ask for that. There were a lot of wait staff around and minimal customers for such poor attention. Even the manager was present but did not seem to have a grasp on flow. Anyway, I finally flagged the bartender down who was apologetic and lovely. We received our drinks and ordered our food. A salad and a sandwich which took way longer than it should of. The food was average but not worth the wait. We had a groupon thank God. I would not return. The staff needs to be more proactive for sure. The ratio was about 2:1 tables to wait staff but you would have never guessed such a plump ratio. We also had to request our check. The food was good. The service was great. The music was literally painful. I grew up surrounded by musicians (drummers) and VERY loud music. I love music. The live band in Sat 10/30/21 was noise. Pure, painful noise. There were 12 patrons in the restaurant --- all seated as far away as possible from the musician. This speaks volumes! Worst nachos ever. They were so dry that even the ground beef was crunchy and it was supposed to be soft. And it also had almost no cheese on it which is funny because that's what nachos are known for. Alright buckle up ladies and gentleman this is gonna be a long one! First I would like to list the things I liked about this place (seeing as it's much smaller than what I didn't like), the outdoor seating is lovely and the wings and rice balls were good but that's pretty much where the good ends. As for the not so good let me start with the service, I went with a group of 5 and we got the worst service I've ever had. Two of us arrived 20 mins later than the others and they still hadn't even gotten water let alone any other drinks. Once we did finally order our appetizers it seemed that our waitress magically turned into a snail instead of a human being, there were several times that we found ourselves with no more drinks, food, or water and waiting around for a while without being refilled or asked if we wanted to order entrees. Now let's talk about the food, honestly, it seems that most if not all of our food was frozen and just heated up, especially the pizza. That pizza crust literally tasted like boboli pre made crust you buy in the store it was horrible. The "beet salad" we had was not a beet salad it was a bag of mixed greens with about 4 beets on top and a few candied cashews. A beet salad in my book has more beets than that and the description said that there was supposed to be arugula but there wasn't any. Then there was the dressing which was supposedly "homemade sage ranch dressing" I highly doubt it, it tasted just like kens ranch dressing, definitely nothing special about it. My friend ordered a corn beef sandwich and the bread wasn't even crisp, it was so soggy that she had to eat it with a fork. Next onto the drinks, we all got mojitos to start and on an empty stomach none of us even felt a little buzzed I'm not saying we were trying to get crazy but for a $10 drink I'd like some alcohol in there! The bottom line it was not a place I would recommend to anyone unless all you want is beer, wings, and maybe a burger. Somers needs a great restaurant and that's what I was hoping for in this place but I'm left disappointed. (Side note: here on yelp I noticed a representative of the restaurant barely comments on negative reviews but comments on almost all the positive reviews which shows me they aren't interested in addressing the problems and maybe they should start...) read more

New atmosphere! So we stopped going for a while because the drinks were honestly absolutely terrible and aside from the pizza that is always delicious nothing else was good. Someone told me to go back and check it out again and I'm glad we did! The bartenders are awesome! Keith is the best, best service and best drinks!!! We sit by the bar every time he's there and Niko is always awesome. We now go ones or twice a week, had a spicy ribeye steak last night with potato balls that were to die for! Stopped in on Saturday night with a few guys from work and the place was rockin'. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. I sat at the bar for a few drinks and the 2 bartenders were awesome. We never had to wait for our drinks, they were both very attentive. But then I stopped in on Sunday for a few drinks and the loud young waitress was touching her breasts and making comments to another patron about her nipples being hard. I've gone a few times since the re brand and remodel and if I could describe it in one word it would be "inconsistent" I've had some food , the brick oven pizza that was excellent once and raw in the center twice. We've gone a few times simply for location and the great Groupon deals, but I'm not sold for it being a great dinner spot. As for a bar with a nice patio and entertainment for a place to grab a beer and appetizer is probably the best bet. Lastly , they could work on keeping up with the beer menu with what's actually on tap. At least 4 times the first beer I've chosen off the draft list is not available. In all this place is nice inside and has great potential if they can bring consistency to some dishes. I will say some of the basics like wings and deep fried mozzarella were great ! read more

Great hometown bar. Always good quality food and drinks. Got takeout the other day and not only was it really good, the portions were very generous and we had leftovers the next day. We like their pizza, the one with the eggplant and ricotta is really good- definitely recommend it! My husband loves their arancini and gets it everytime we order from here. We had a great meal at the Bond 124. We were seated when we walked in. Our waitress/ bartender was very helpful and attentive. We had Calamari fra diavlo appetizer the calamari fresh and not chewy. The Grilled Ceasar salad we shared and was delicious. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana was delicious. The portion sizes were large and I brought home my dinner. My cousin had the Blackened scallops with risotto she said it was so creamy and delicious, only complaint was the saltiness of the the scallops that were moist. If you worry about dining in the the restaurant has COVID-19 precautions with barriers up to keep customers safe. I plan on going back again to try their pizza. read more

One of the few bars that has done all the outrageous Covid modifications to their bar in order to still provide a great place to go & enjoy! So many places have simply closed off large portions of their restaurant, but not here! Went for happy hour for wings and beer only. The hubbys Coors light was $3, and my powder hollow Porter was $4. Our wings (8 for $9.95-buffalo & dry rub) had good flavor, were cooked perfectly crispy, no breading, and the blue cheese was wicked good. My only downer was I thought the wings were on special with happy hour but I guess were not. Our server Daniell was a mover and a shaker, he was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Atmosphere is great, very open and the outdoor seating was cozy with TV's outside and ceiling fans. I'm looking forward to trying an entree next time. read more

We stopped back in, sometime in September, no one in the place, service was horrible, Some young girl waited on us, she was horrible. Food still not up to par. It seems as the staff doesn't live in the moment, we do not want to hear about the great future, we want to have a great experience that day. I don't need to hear about the patio, about happy hour and about all the upcoming events, about the great selection of so many taps ( especially when we are drinking mixed drinks ) We want to sit, relax, enjoy the experience of today. We want nothing more than to have places in town to eat. I, however, 10 months later you have not figured it out and I find it unacceptable that 10 months later the people in the building are still using this excuse for poor service and bad food. If after 10 months you have not gotten right, you should look to move on. You may want to get out of this business and think about a marketing business, it seems that the one thing that you have been able to teach your employees is marketing. I often wonder why and how people with no clue about certain businesses think they can make it work. read more

Very limited menu, the calamari was over fried and rubbery, the Caesar salad had very little flavor and the pizza was was burnt giving the sun-dried tomatoes and Gorgonzola cheese an odd flavor. I have heard from other foodies not to try a new place for the first 6 months, so I will give benefit of the doubt. The place was packed seeing as it was their second Friday night being open. Right away, I noticed it was so noisy I couldn't even hear myself think. The decor was a slight upgrade from the previous Somers Grill & Tap, but not much. Still, very nice ambiance. We sat at the bar, which was very busy. The bartenders were good - not great - but, again, the place just opened. Drinks were affordable. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. Mine was the opposite of what it should be. The fish was cold, when it should be hot. The cole slaw was warm, when it should be cold - luckily, my stomach was fine. Tonight is the second time we have been to this bar. They have a nice beer list, decent hard alcohol selection, and ok appetizers. The atmosphere is warm, and similar to many of the Irish Pubs in NYC. The two negatives that are prevalent are the food and the live music. The food is either bland or ill constructed. Example - Caesar salad is simply a head of romaine lettuce with dressing drizzled over it. This is not Caesar salad. The lettuce is bitter without being dressed or mixed with other greens. Too much creative license. The chicken parm was dry and not flavorful. The music is not consistent. Tonight - a Sunday- there is a young metal head playing so loud you can hear yourself speak. Contrast this to last Sunday, where the music selection was much calmer and at a better volume. The service has not been consistent, so definitely need to focus on staffing efforts. I think this place has potential, but several areas of improvement will have dramatic results. read more

I love a good buffalo wing and these wings were the worst I've had, was half a wing with a lot of bone. No meat. My waitress was great though. Young girl, very attentive and apologetic about my dissatisfaction with the wings. Only good part of my experience there was her service. Took forever to get my drink from the bar. Saw my waitress waiting a for it for quite awhile... I have gone to Bond a few times and have never seen it so DISFUNCTIONAL. Heard yelling in the kitchen. I had high hopes for this place, but they were not upheld. The server was not interested in really waiting on us but that wasn't even the worse part. I ordered the blackened scallops with risotto which sounded good... It was seasoned but I haven't the foggest idea with what. Great atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Plenty of parking. We made it just in time for the end of happy hour. We had great service from our waitress. She recommended beers from the elaborate list. I do wish they had a printed list of their taps, or even a large board somewhere. The waitress had them memorized, thankfully.
