I had no expectations given this locations past iterations but decided to give it a whirl tonight on a whim. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and even though I purposely ordered some random (although classic) cocktails the bartender responded expertly. The food was literally the best bar food I've had in a long time even to the point of excelling in a first class restaurant. The Fire point sessions IPA was outstanding. Tasted just like taking a bite out of a grapefruit. I would absolutely recommend this place either as a bar or first class restaurant or both. Definitely coming back. read more

Terrible. - won't ever be back. Waitress was terrible. Forgot our drinks, the brought out my hamburger, but didn't bring my husbands pizza for another 8 minutes, which made my burger cold because I waited for him. Always great service. The burgers are thick, juicy and delicious with lettuce, tomato, and choice of cheese. They come with fries as well.

Did a take out recently for three people, place looks good as its the first time I have seen it since it was a dive bar initials M F. Beer was tasty and my son's burger was a hit. However, I ordered the hanger steak and it was a delmonico cut (rib steak) without a hint of marinate. Ordered the beet salad too and they forgot the dressing. Beets where not roasted that I could tell, looked and tasted like something out of a can or jar. My wife had calamari and it got soggy fast, I suspect it was a bit under fried or over breaded. Perhaps just change the menu to say steak dinner, that way you can use any cut you want, was really looking forward to the hanger its my favorite cut. read more

Stopped in for a drink, and was very impressed. They have completely transformed what this place formerly looked like. Menu was limited, but they advertise themselves as a tap room, so it made sense. We decided to get the wings- which came with a dry rub. I wish I knew what that dry rub consisted of, but either way, they were fantastic. If we had decided to stay longer, I would have liked to try their Margherita Pizza. I'll definitely stop back for a drink or two soon. read more

Been back several time since opening day and each time it gets a little better each time. This last time I had pizza which was very good, service was excellent and the noise level was tolerable considering the crowd that was there. The drink I had, cucumber Ricky, was very refreshing and makes for a great summer drink. I also had the calamari which I thought was awesome. I understand all of the bugs need to be worked out and they seems to be tackling them one at a time. I will definitely be a regular customer because I think it's important to support local businesses and to help see them through their start up time to become successful. read more

Went to Bond 124_in Somers, CT. Food absolutely fabulous. Stuffed mushrooms were one of the best . mozzarella sticks wrapped in proscuto was excellent The chef is very good. Service was exceptional. I will start off with a positive. Our waitress was very nice and personable. But not a very good waitress. had to ask for everything. All I will say is do not get the meatballs and spaghetti, ( which came 10 mins after everyone elses, think she forgot to put in order). It was like eating a piece of cardboard. No flavor. A little awkward going in - no one greeted us so after standing by the door for a few minutes we had to ask if it was "sit yourself" which it was. Once seated - the waitress came right over and took our drink order. Drinks were good, small but good. Appetizers were quick. Recommend the wings - really flavorful. Ordered the mushrooms based on other reviews - very pleased! I also recommend the mushrooms. Menu was rather small - but the food was very good. All in all - nice little joint. My only complaints would be the lack of greeting at the door and it was cold as in temperature cold. It's like in the 20's now - turn up the heat please! We will definitely go back. read more

Have been to Bond124 twice. Both times a solid 4.5. The staff was friendly and prompt, the food was fresh, tasty, and hot. We have tried the burgers, the wings, and the chicken, all very good. Even the fries were especially good. The salad and dressing among the best ive had at higher end restaurants. The atmosphere is cozy and warm and will be even better when the large outside deck is complete. Please give it a try !! read more

Wife and I went out for date night, thought we try the fairly new Bon 124. I got the porketta - the skin was on the cut of pork and it was gummy. The sauce was watery and flavorless. Wife got fish and chips. It was raw in the middle - twice. So she had a heaping helping of fries for dinner. Music is loud. Had modern rap with swears and stuff, we were looking for a nice night out on a Wednesday. Might I suggest a name change as Bond 124, is not the same as Bond Pub. I'd go for a beer and maybe try an app, but disappointing overall. Mgr came over and asked about our fish issues. He did take it off the bill, so that was good. read more

We went late in a Tuesday night for dinner and it was pretty quite! We ordered the buttery buffalo wings, which were amazing! I order the margarita pizza with fresh mozzarella...... So good! I was mad because my friends are my leftovers the next day! My husband ordered the burger he was pleased with the juicyness and flavor! One downfall was many of the taps that I wanted were empty..... went there last night...it was empty for the most part...we have been there under pervious name...no difference now...if I had to guess new name same owner....I had a bourbon and my wife ordered a martini which came as a drink with ice....drink prices are high...had the Flatbread pizza...my wife liked it...I only liked the crust but thought it had no flavor...another woman came over and asked if my wife drink was wrong...we said yes...she apologized and took off the bill...it looks like the same place that has failed at least twice in past...I don't see them succeeding based on our experience... read more

The new chef and cooks are great. The Bond has really stepped up their game in the past few months and it shows. Friendly, professional wait staff combined with exceptional cooking has really turned it around. My wife and I had the Scallop Risotto and it was delicious. Excellent portion and perfect seasoning. I've also enjoyed the roasted chicken and meatball sandwiches in the past month. It's in my wheelhouse so I go there for lunch. Great beers and drinks, cold beers! Went in for dinner Wednesday night around 7. Sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by Kat, the bartender and took a minute to look over their extensive and eclectic draft beer selection. A delicious Guinness kept me busy while we waited for our calamari and margarita pizza. The interior was great! New tile and wood flooring accented the beautiful wooden booth benches and tin ceilings very nicely. The calamari was cooked perfectly, lightly breaded-served with hot peppers and red sauce. The pizza was equally as impressive, thin, crispy top and chewy, soft-doughy middle. Fresh basil and mozzarella perfectly balanced with a hint of sweetness to the taste. I ordered a Clown Shoes Evil Crawfish Imperial Red draft next, which I really enjoyed. So nice to see such wonderful beer selection! The beer menu needed some more details, as it posted the beer but not the specific type-I.E. Abita was offered in Purple Haze but only said "Abita". The manager, Andy introduced himself and made us feel welcomed and said they were still ironing out some details, including the outside patio area which is still getting finished. I look forward to our next visit which, I'm sure will be soon. Overall very impressed! read more

Right after they opened, my husband and I both had the afternoon off and decided to go out for a Friday afternoon cocktail, maybe an appetizer, maybe dinner later. Saw cars in the Bond 124 parking lot and pulled in. It was around 4:46 - the door was propped open, lights on, TV over the bar was on, guy behind the bar, people were walking around, etc. There was a young woman in the front washing a window and we asked her what time they opened. She said 4:00. She went back in; we parked up front. The manager was at a little pedestal just inside the front door. She must have said something to the girl, who came back out to tell us that they don't open until 5:00. So...there we were, out of the car and literally five feet from the front door, looking to sit at the bar and have a drink - manager right there and it was then around 4:50. I looked right at her and she walked away. Feeling really awkward, people looking at us through the windows - we left and went elsewhere. The solution was easy..."I'm sorry, the kitchen doesn't open until 5:00, but you're welcome to sit at the bar and have a drink while we get things ready!" It was 10 minutes or less.
