The girls from The Big Mamou got this place. Cajun everything. In Holyoke? Unbelievable. Worth a try.

I got a steak special here one time and it was bad meat. I got real sick. When in doubt don't check it out.

Absolutely amazing. Two bites in, and me and girlfriend both agreed. Will definitely be back soon.

This place blew all my expectations out of the water. Split the New England platter with a friend…read more The stand out meat was definitely the crab legs, but everything was great. The mussels were extremely large (alarming) but we had heard that from other reviews. Ordered a lemonade that was nothing special, but server took our request for extra lemons seriously. Bibs, gloves, and moist towelettes included. Pro tip: get a side of white rice! Rolling the rice into balls and dunking it into the sauce is a great experience. The vibes were casual but upscale. Very clean, and great decor.

Wow, slowest, slowest, slowest service of my life…read more We ordered the New England Fest. Our waitress's pager went off, and she said it was probably ours. Nope, we waited another 15 minutes. Finally received our food, no crackers for lobster/crab claws. After five minutes, we asked again and our waitress had an attitude stating they were being disinfected. We waited a minimum of 20 minutes for the cracker, and asked for another. She stated it was one per table. What? We had to ask multiple times for water. The corn was actually served cold like it had been previously frozen. The potatoes were mediocre. There were maybe 7 mussles for what they said was 1/2 pound. There was a ton of shrimp, 2 pieces of snow crab (1#), some clams and a lobster tail for $80. We added another small lobster for $10 (special). Also ordered 1/2 pound (1 portion) of dungeness crab for added cost. My favorite part was the butter and garlic sauce which was tasty. They had run out of both lomein and fried rice, so we ordered a side of plain rice. In the future I might get take out, but seriously doubt will dine in again after such slow and poor service. Total bill was over $200 with 20% gratuity added in automatically for poor service.

We both had pasta with half leftover for tomorrow. Delicious. Good salad, yummy desserts. Friendly service, pleasant atmosphere. Recommended.

I took a friend here cause we went there last year for her birthday and she requested to go again…read morebecause we both enjoyed the Redfish Novelle dish which once again was flavorful and enjoyable. I did feel that the presentation could have been a little cleaner and a little more rice but the dish still held our tastebuds satisfied. We are both gluten free which can be difficult . We ordered their price fix menu which included salad, main dish and desert. We decided that was a good choice. The salad came with a lot of unsavory dead end pieces in it which immediately affects the taste and look of the salad. I would give that a very poor presentation with just a small amount of taste. The deserts that came with it were all gluten deserts. That required us to order an extra dish, the bananas foster which should be good. The presentation was not good at all. The bananas were not caramelized which is part of this signature dish and the bananas were mushy and tasteless. It came topped with ice cream. All in all a disappointing addition we had to pay for. The service was very good and I did tell the waiter of our disappointment with the bananas foster and he said " I am sorry" , I guess I should have asked for the manager but the waiter did suggest to take home the two deserts that we were owed. My husband would probably enjoy them. The cheese cake was very disappointing. It was dull, heavy and tasteless, I took a taste of the cheese parts. The apple strudel passable. They can do better. I know they have a large volume clientele but taste and presentation are key to returning customers at least it is to this customer and her friend. It will be awhile until we venture there again. Maybe they will take this review seriously and make some changes. I would suggest adding a gluten free desert offering to the price fix desert menu like flourless chocolate cake or chocolate mousse something if you want to attract a larger more versatile clientele. The redfish novelle is a very nice dish that I do recommend.
