He opted for a Liège waffle (chewy) and I went with the Brussels waffle (crispier) and both were amazing. Drinks are just as good, from coffee and espresso to tea, matcha, or juice. We also shared a Zinneken's breakfast meal and it was perfectly made. Everything was incrediblly delicious and made for such a great brunch. We can't wait to go back!

A little dense and heavy on the stomach, but you want a breakfast to be hearty to last throughout the day. The red velvet shake was watery, the red velvet extract was a little hard on the pallet, had a good chocolate flavor but a strong chemically aftertaste. The shake needed substance and stabilizer. A frozen fruit like açaí berry or banana would help homogenize the mixture, and instead of red velvet extract use a chocolate powder with red food coloring. Also a little bit of thickener like xanthan gum (used in tiny amounts) to help with mouthfeel. The waffle is good as-is. The avocado toast needs salt to help the fruity notes pop and combat the richness of the avocado. Everything bagel seasoning comes to mind. The owner was a delight, very kind and helpful. Which is why I post ways to tweak what she makes to bring them to that next level. It's not bad shakes, from a nice owner. Worth a shot if you need a shake
