Other than meat, they source a rather remarkable amount of products given the relatively small size of the store. They have a couple of higher end pet foods, sheep products, some craft sodas, and really just a number of other odds and ends. Service is great, and you can tell they have a stream of regulars. I probably won't stop in every day, but I do hope to make it in every two weeks or so. This is easily the best food I've found within a stone's throw of UConn.

Not wanting to be a hassle, I plowed through, scooping the cold uncooked whites to the side and discovered a piece of not so small egg shell in it. I told the waitress there was an egg shell in the eggs, they were a bit undercooked and cold. Instead of receiving an apology or accommodations, she said she'll share the info with the owner. I was then given an excuse as to why there was an egg shell in the eggs "we use farm fresh eggs and they're very fragile". I use farm fresh eggs at home, they are fragile. It doesn't take more than a moment to remove the shell before cooking and serving it to a customer. She didn't remove the meal from the ticket or discount it and she never apologized. Like I said, just an excuse. All that being said, the place is beautiful, indoors and outside. My wife's pancake was delicious. I'm sure many things on the menu are delicious. They also seemed short staffed. And I won't wright a place off because of one meal and one server. Could be an off day for the chef/cook. The server isn't a always an indicator of the restaurant's values. We were not sure where the blackened pizza slice came from on the kitchen floor, but we ignored it and opted to eat to go. Food came out reasonably quick. Took our pics then swapped bites. The egg rolls were as described. Steak and cheese in a wonton fried. Very one note, crispy and greasy with only a weak cheese sauce flavor. Not bad, but basic. The fries were very much college dorm nachos style. They had a thin coat of cheese over matchstick fries with toppings that fell through to the bottom. The cheese solidified quickly which welded the fries together into a giant clump. Not great, but if it's late at night and you're drunk they do scratch that greasy horribleness itch one can get. The pizza had a good crust, but the sauce and cheese were lackluster. The dough was fresh and cooked through, but the sauce was weak and no tomato flavor and the cheese was non-existent. The toppings on the specialty pizza's were pretty good, they just had a horrible base to work off of. As one of the few options for pizza in that area, you would be remiss to find much better pizza around. It's not great, but it is functional.
