We also ordered the NEW Magical Hawaiian Blue cocktail and the Strawberry Piña Colada. Both drinks tasted like they had zero alcohol in them. If there was any liquor at all, it felt like a drop. The worst part of the night, however, was the management. As an African-American family, we couldn't help but notice how the manager handled our complaints. Instead of coming to our table to apologize or fix the situation, he stood at a distance, whispered instructions to our waitress on what to say to us, and never once stepped over. Meanwhile, we watched him actively go over to another table of non-colored patrons to check in on their experience. Being ignored by management while watching them give face-to-face attention to other tables left a terrible taste in our mouths. The food was a letdown, the drinks were NOT good,and the lack of respect from the manager was unacceptable. We will not be returning ever again. This is very much the place you go to when you're going to work and you want a quick bite to eat, and so long as you come in looking for that type of food then it works. The breakfast sandwiches were good enough. Eggs were cooked hard, white american cheese was melty and cheesy, roll was fresh, and the meats were cooked. There wasn't anything special about these sandwiches, but they were good for what they were. If you need a meal and want a basic sandwich, this place is more than capable of handling that type of request. The prices are actually pretty good, the portion is reasonable, and it's not bad. My mother uses a rollator, and we were pleased that there was plenty of space to park it in a corner near our table. Staff were super helpful in getting her situated. We said gingery, definitely not sweet. With just those instructions the bartender sent over virgin Moscow Mules with ginger beer and fresh lime in copper cups -- delicious! Then we had the braised beef & truffle pappardelle, roasted cod, vegetable & mushroom risotto, and the homemade ravioli du jour, which was stuffed with mushrooms, swiss cheese and leeks.
