Came here on Saturday night. It is a small space but good enough to put tables together. With winter nights I was craving some good ramen. We ordered ramen, squid, noodles, wings and some fried rice. The chicken wings were so crispy and fresh! The ramen was really good too, portion sizes are good. The noodles were really good too! Overall if you want some ramen and want to hit the craving this is a good spot. The pricing is also good! For sure would come back.

Maybe for Scottsdale it's good ramen but coming from San Diego it just didn't hit the mark. I got the spicy miso ramen and it was anything but spicy. I added practically half of the Sriracha bottle and it still wasn't enough. The broth tasted like a watery mess and lacked flavor. The noodles and egg were good but the broth needs a lot of work. The tonkotsu ramen was about the same but I'd say it was slightly better but still wouldn't recommend this place for ramen. Service was good. The service would be a 5 star but the food was less than good.

Visiting from San Diego, I researched to see which places have good ramen and this place came up high on the list. Sad to say I was very disappointed The ramen broth was very water down. The pork cashu is good and the egg was cooked right. Also there's a lack of variety for ramen flavors. I'm used to seeing a few pages of various ramen options that takes me 10 minutes to decide which ramen I would order.

Checked this place out on a Tuesday afternoon and it was pretty much empty. We ordered our food and got our order quickly. The ramen itself is a good portion but was just okay. The house fried rice only had 2 pieces of each protein and was a bit on the oily side. The place itself is very clean and didn't feel crammed.

Love ramen here so much! This place is pretty cozy, and there are plenty of parking spots close to the store. They have ramen, udon, boba, and yummy Japanese appetizers. I tried ramen here, forgot what it was- but it was so good. Egg was perfectly boiled, noodle was chewy, and the broth was so so so good. It would've been even more tastier if the broth was hot. Mine was like lukewarm, and I personally like hot broth. Will definitely coming back here again! :)

We stopped in on the way to the airport. We were the only ones in the place. They seem to do a lot of take out. I think that the food was good. Service was great. The Raman didn't seem very hot when it came out but the noodles were hot... broth needed more flavor and temperature needed to be warmer. Pot stickers were ok, burnt a bit. Water, ice cold and filtered! Very nice.

It was a chilly day so I wanted some hot ramen/soup to warm me up so I decided to stopped in because of the reviews & because this place was fairly close to my work. I'm not sure if it was just because I was the first customer but it was freezing inside the restaurant. I ordered the hot jasmine tea, fried chicken wings and the spicy miso ramen with pork. The tea was good, the chicken wings were piping hot, crispy, cooked to perfection and they were huge! Now onto the ramen. I was surprised that the broth was just warm, was hoping for it to be hotter in temperature. Due to the temperature, the noodles felt kind of chewy and the vegetables stayed raw. Might be good for some people but if I have vegetables in my soup, I'd like it to be somewhat blanched. As far as flavors goes, it was not spicy at all, it was just okay, nothing special. Pricing was fair but service was really slow. I had to ask the waitress for a to-go container for my leftover wings and then also ask for the check, even though there were only 2 other customers in the restaurant.

Ramen Time is located in a nondescript strip mall in Tempe near Scottsdale. The restaurant was neat and clean. The decor was simplistic. I ordered the Hand Rolled Scallion Pancake. (It was actually folded, not literally rolled.). The center was chewy, but the edges were a bit overdone for my preference. It tasted okay, but it didn't have any discernible scallion flavor. Ironic. It was accompanied by a dipping sauce, which had a "just right" amount of sweetness. I also ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen (without the black wood fungus). The noodles were plentiful, and the broth was okay. Pricing was on par with similar eateries, but be sure to read the notice regarding a "service charge" for credit transactions and a discount for cash. The service was fast, but lacked a smile. The shy, soft-spoken server never asked if everything was okay. Plus, I had to hand her the pancake plate (hint, hint), and the soup bowl was never cleared. Is clearing the table something customers need to request? To her credit she did say "thank you. Have a good one." as I left.

Ramen Time has become my comfort restaurant. I love ordering take-out from them and it always hits the spot. I have tried a bunch of things off of their menu and I have never left disappointed. My partner especially likes their spicy ramen and I would highly recommend ordering their gyoza and crab puff appetizers to snack on with their tasty noodles. I also never leave without a tasty thai tea, my favorite! So thankful to live just a short distance from here because whenever I'm craving ramen this is the first place that comes to mind. I highly recommend trying Ramen Time, once you've had it once you are going to want to keep coming back for more!

Great service! Came in right before closing (oops) but they were inviting regardless. The girl working was so sweet. the Spicy miso soup is so good. Hot & great flavor!

I am by no means a ramen aficionado, however, I have tried a few ramen restaurants throughout the Valley and I can say that this ramen is okay, average at best. Bf had the tonkotsu ramen. The broth tasted light, not at all the creamy, thick consistency one expects from tonkotsu broth. I had the spicy miso ramen. While not spicy imo, i would rate it jalapeno/sriracha level spicy. A little disappointing as I was hoping for spicy. Certainly doesn't compare to my favorite spicy ramen in a neighboring complex... Overall very average.

My boyfriend and I came here for our first time today from the Desert Botanical Garden (which is not too far away from here). I can't believe how good the food was and how much you get for what you order! The next time we're in Tempe or around Tempe this will definitely be worth coming back to again! Staff were very sweet and kind and the service was great. The inside is intimate, but super cute! They played songs from the movies made by Hayao Miyazaki.

This place is take out only. I didn't try the ramen but I tried the pork katsu which was very crispy and juicy. The tonkatsu sauce had a good tang to it. I also had the house fried rice which was a little oily but I expect it from fried rice, it tasted really good. Once they open up I will come back to try the ramen and appetizers read more

Maybe I'm spoiled having lived in Japan and also LA which has some great ramen spots. This place was ok, not great. The broth was a little weak, but the noodles and chashu were of good quality. I saw it was a family business which I love, but a little more training maybe? Waiter didn't know what Gyoza was, even though it was on their appetizer menu. But overall, I'm glad to have an ok ramen spot around. I'll explore a few other places before coming back here. read more

We stopped by for a late lunch. Both had chicken yakisoba. Mostly noodles. Tasted good. Sauce had a pleasant mild flavor. My problem was the restroom. Went to wash my hands before eating and no hot water. Also, the toilet was running and condition was generally filthy. read more

We doordash Ramen Time on a rainy Friday night! It did not disappoint. The spicy Miso Ramen was delicious! It definitely has a kick so I wouldn't recommend that for any who doesn't like spice. My bf got the udon and loved that too! Highly recommend for your ramen fix. read more

Honestly I was quiet surprised at the good reviews.... maybe I was there on a bad day? -service 1/5 Not sure if it's a short staff day or what but there was 1 lady doing everything in front: taking order, bringing food, checks, etc for every tables. I feel bad to give 0 on services since I know she works hard but we waited almost 40 mins for the crab puffs to come, extra 20' for the rAmens... and seriously that is unacceptable amount of wait time. Server was rushed when taking orders and on top of that, water taste like tap water. -food 1/5: We are die-hard ramen geeks. Just solely in Tempe/Phoenix/ glendale area, we have tried most of the ramen shop and I gotta say this one rank the lowest. Broths for both spicy miso and tonkatsu are salty/ overly spicy and have weird plastice taste. The corn topping in my ramen was cold as well. First time I left 95% of the food in the bowl. Didn't even bother to finish it. Crab puffs should be called cream puff since that s all we see in the filling. First time having bell pepper in ramen and It didn't come through well... however, I do appreciate innovations on national dishes. The karagee "popcorn chicken" is really good with the spicy sauce, gyoza explodes with a tad bit of oil and is delicious. As for the Ramen Broth 4/5. Was very rich but had something missing. Started getting bland after a bit Noodles 5/5: Soft, silky noodles just the way I like it but that's just bias Egg 4/5: normal egg, good texture, great taste Meat 5/5: very flavorful and soft Ramen overall score 4.7 Ramen Time overall: 5/5. Holy heck, having a ramen shop literally down the street is amazing. Even better still, their Tonkotsu ramen is heavenly and you get so much noodle for the price. I definitely recommend trying this lovely little place, so by all means stop in. Ramen Time, 10/10 read more

Ramen expert here once again! I swear that going to Japan on a yearly basis really ruins my ramen experience here in Arizona... you know? The ramen in Japan is the cream of the crop! I had to go back to my other reviews of ramen restaurants here in Arizona to see how this new place, RAMEN TIME, can be rated accordingly. Here it goes! As usual, I order the Tonkotsu ramen to see the skill level of the kitchen crew. The requirements for me is how the broth comes out based on the consistency, depth and the pork fat drippings. The broth passes the consistency test because it's not watery. The broth has a creamy texture to it although it's pretty light and is almost on the watery side. BUT it still has creamy consistency. The depth was somewhat good. I could taste the different aspects of the flavor, and a lot of it was garlic. I definitely tasted a lot of garlic which is a good and bad thing. It packs a little punch, but at the same time, you kind of wonder what the actual broth tastes like. And lastly, like every ramen restaurant here in AZ, there are no fat drippings in the broth. The noodles were decent, and I can tell it's not packaged ramen bought from Safeway (no offense to instant ramen). And the pork slice was fine too. I also ordered the takoyaki. There were real octopus meat chunks in there, and it was lightly friend and crispy. I approve, and at the same time, I wish they were a little bigger in size. Overall, when I really compare all of the ramen restaurants in Arizona, Ramen Time is on the level of Tampopo, Dozo Izakaya, Hachi Ramen, etc. whose ramen has that slightly above average broth. And like those restaurants, it is also comparable to most ramen places in California. I have had terrible ramen that I have given 1 or 2 stars. I have had ramen which were 3 stars because they were just good enough not to be terrible if you were dying from hunger. I would say Ramen Time gets 4 stars for trying to be above average! The best Tonkotsu ramen still belongs to the two Nishikawa ramen locations. On another note, I didn't get a chance to try their yakitori, boba tea and soft boiled egg. I'm a huge fan of those things. LOL. When I go back the second time... if their yakitori is tendor and seasoned appropriately, their soft boiled egg is perfecty gooey, and their boba tea is delicious (not too sweet nor taste like powder), I'll think about upgrading them to 5 stars. read more

Worked late at the office and had nothing for dinner, came across a Ramen time. I had the octopus, some gyoza, tempura shrimp and spicy Ramen. Yes a lot. I liked the gyoza, hard to mess up gyoza, the octopus wasn't my fav and the tempura on the shrimp was more like a deep fried batter than I'm used to. Likely wouldn't have either of them again. The ramen was a healthy portion for the price and tasty. Place could be decorated a bit nicer but I was there for some chow not on a date. "Hot and new". Not what I'd consider but won't knock it for that The staff were friendly. I got there just before closing time and while they were cleaning up they certainly didn't make me feel like I was in a rush to get out so they could turn the lights off which was great and I appreciated it. read more

Arrived here on a cold winter night feeling a little sick because I let myself go hungry too long. Ordered Ramen Time and my husband ordered the first Ramen dish. Can't remember name. We were slurping up a storm!! Broth was so warm and tasty. Bean sprouts were so crisp and fresh. Shrimp & pork were amazing. Service was quick and friendly. I ordered the chicken katsu, and I knew not to expect anything authentic, but it was still quite disappointing. The katsu pieces were individually fried as if they were American chicken strips and the meat was extremely chewy (c'mon, you gotta beat that meat). It was also very dry and flavorless save for the katsu sauce, which had an odd medicinal smell. If I had to compare this to all the chicken katsu dishes I'd had in my life, I would say this is at the bottom of the barrel, no cap. My friend got their ramen though, and apparentally it's not bad, so I'd say just skip out on the katsu from this place. read more

Craving ramen and this place had it. Tried the crab puffs but all I could taste was cream cheese. They were fine, but definitely no crab in there. The ramen was just okay. The portion was huge. Tea was pretty good though. And this place is fairly cheap. Maybe I'm spoiled? I've been to Japan and this is pretty bad compared to any ramen I've had. The broth left something to be desired and the noodles didn't taste fresh... probably from a package. The pork was tiny and bland. I won't be going back. read more

The ramen isn't bad. it's not great either. Very average and the fried chicken isn't bad either. They would have a higher review if it wasn't for the fact I had a wicker allergic reaction when drinking the soup from the bowl at the end of the meal. In japan this is customary to do. You pick up the bowl and sip the last part. Well within minutes, massive allergic reaction on my lips that touched the outside of the bowl. Scary. Not sure what they are using back there to clean bowls but be careful. Also.....these people are Chinese. Not Japanese. read more

This place is a hidden gem. You would never guess how good this place is from the outside. Once inside it's a nice clean, quiet, atmosphere however the food is by far the best part. Their ramens were absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. It's a Japanese restaurant so there are other items besides just ramen but if you like ramen this place is a must try! read more

This place is a good find. Came out to try this place and I live in Surprise. I had the Spicy Ramen and the flavor is delicious. I've been to Japan and had the best Ramen when I was there and it's nothing compared but this ramen can carry its own weight and very flavorful on its own. Will definitely come back. read more

This place is more of a to go style restaurant, which I wasn't expecting however was totally cool with! They do have a small area of outdoor seating if you prefer to "dine in". I got the Ramen Time ramen and the meat was delicious as well as the broth. The crab puff appetizer was super good and on the sweeter side, but the boba Thai tea was a huge star of the show. The boba was soooo good, and the Thai tea as well. Maybe even the best I've had! Definitely try this place out. read more

I really love ramen and have been to quite a few places in the Tempe area. The price is really reasonable for the quantity and quality of the Ramen that they give you. I got the spicy miso ramen and it was great. What made it unique for me was that bell peppers were added, nice touch! I will definitely come around again! read more

I'm late on posting this review, I highly recommend . The prices for the portions are fantastic ( Been here 3 times and I always take home left overs) the pot of green tea was yummie, it has a infuser inside the pot , they use qulity loose tea . The vegetable Ramen is very filling and they did not skimp on the veggies. The fried fish Katsu is a meal size portion that comes with a salad side( most places I've been to it's an appetizer ) Soooo Crunchy and well seasoned. The family that owns Ramen Time it is doing a great job! Always a clean and friendly atmosphere. read more

We live in Las Vegas. We came down to visit some family, and decided we wanted some Ramen. This place was AMAZINGLY GOOD!! Everything was fresh and cooked well to order. This is a more authentic Japanese ramen restaurant, I think the taste of ramen is very similar to what I had in Japan and China. And their ramen soup has been cooked for a long time, so it is very delicious. Also the milk tea is awesome!!! read more

We started off with a large sake bomb paired with a Kirin Light ($15). We then ordered two Tonkotsu Ramens, one medium spice and one hot spice ($15.99 each). Honestly, the hot spice level did not taste spicy at all, so I would recommend going extra hot if you like spice. They also provide chili powder on the table if you want to add more spice yourself. The ramen broth itself could have used a tad more flavor. I lightly added some soy sauce to the broth which is something I often do to add a little kick. I loved all of the toppings included, from the green onions to the kikurage (wood ear mushroom). My favorite part was the pork chashu, which was really tender and delicious. I also appreciated that the ramen came with a full soft boiled egg rather than half an egg, and the egg was perfectly runny. Before leaving, we ordered their tea special that was buy one get one. We got a matcha milk tea and a cafe latte which I forgot to take a photo of. I felt like the cafe latte could have used a little more sweetness to balance it. Also, I found it neat that Nishikawa offers a rewards program, not something I see often at ramen shops. The food here was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which made the experience even better. I especially loved the ramen -- unlike other places that mostly fill the bowl with noodles, this ramen came with a generous amount of meat, which made it so much more satisfying. The service was exceptional--friendly, kind-hearted, and attentive to every request, always with a smile. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. I initially thought they only served tea and specialty drinks, but their menu is impressive. They offer everything from appetizers and wings to teriyaki dishes, noodles, desserts, and more. There is truly something for everyone. If you're looking for a comfortable spot with great food, delicious drinks, and outstanding customer service, I highly recommend giving this place a try. All the food is really delicious and every appetizer I've eaten there has been really filling. The owners are friendly and clearly very passionate about their food. They remembered my friend and I and our favorite orders even after we stopped going regularly for a few months. Fusion Tea Lounge is an awesome place to study or just chill, and I'm going to miss it when I move.

my mom got teriyaki chicken which just looked and tasted burnt. i got "hand pulled noodles " and…read morebeef which wasn't bad, the noodles had an odd taste and wasn't the best but wasn't horrible. i got a banana boba and the boba tasted just old and soft and i did not drink it while my mom got a brown sugar milk tea and as the lady made it i watch her get syrup on her finger and just wipe her finger off on the inside of my moms cup which just was weird to see happen. wouldn't go back or recommend but that's just my experience.
