This will now be my go to nail salon in West Palm Beach. I'm a Flight Attendant for a U.S. Airline and I am always on the go. I called ahead the day before and made an appointment for 11:30 to get my dip nails refinished. I landed and finished work early so I was able to move my appointment to 10:30. The establishment was everything you would expect. The gentleman who started my nails was wonderful. We had a very nice conversation. The lady who finished my nails was wonderful as well. This place SUCKS. The two manicurist in the front are extremely rude. I got a dip manicure and my nails CHIPPED and cracked not even a week later. They charge an additional 5 dollars for coffin shaped nails but don't let you know until your nails are done. The guy that works there yelled at me "we don't scam people here" when I simply suggested they should let people know of any additional charges that aren't posted in print anywhere in the salon. If you value the health of your nails, do NOT come here for acrylics. They used an illegal nail monomer called mma known as Methyl methacrylate which is way too strong for nails since it's usually used for veneers! it can cause permanent loss and damage of the natural nail, as well as numbness in the fingers and can be potentially poisonous over long term use since it can penetrate the skin because of its molecular structure. THIS IS BANNED BY THE FDA FOR USE ON NAILS. I got my nails done here and after a week I noticed my nail bed looked like it was getting smaller bc of what I think was fungal growth due to moisture trapped. In the process of trying to remove the acrylics it TOOK OVER 3 HOURS TO REMOVE on my own with just acetone. This shouldn't have taken longer than 30 minutes if they used the proper acrylic products. It was sticky and I had to file for SO LONG. Never coming again and I suggest no one start. read more

I got a wonderful pedicure by Tina but the male nail tech who does the NextGen is a completely ignorant TOOL. I had a bad experience with him before because he talks so much about his opinions and doesn't let you get a word in, but that was in January so I kinda forgot since it was six months ago, honestly. He asked to see a picture of my newborn baby and made a strange comment of how light her skin tone was compared to me?! and found it necessary to ask why should it be black lives matter, what about Asian lives. I was already midway through the procedure so I let him finish, but omg I definitely don't plan to return. read more

Fantastic place, Mai and her husband have created the best nail salon in Boynton Beach. Comfortable, bright and airy atmosphere, and scrupulously clean. The pedicure chairs are new and have all the massage features one could desire for a relaxing experience. I was originally referred by a friend and now won't go anywhere else for a manicure and pedicure. While walk-ins are welcomed, I make sure to call ahead for an appointment with Mai - she's outstanding and her expertise is in demand. As well, her husband does the most beautiful NexGen nails. I just moved to Boynton and was hoping to find my new go to nail spot- this is definitely it! Clean, bright, and a friendly family running the salon. I went for the Deluxe Spa Pedicure for $38, and it includes scrub, cooling gel, and paraffin (besides all the basics of course). She did a nice job on both cuticles and calluses, too. I went here a few weeks ago to get a mani & pedi as i am trying out new nail salons in my area, a lady did my feet first and i felt rushed the entire time. the massage was painful rather than relaxing. However, when it came time for my mani i liked how they came out but my nail lady and another lady were talking in front of me and i felt like they were talking crap about me as they would talk and look at me then laugh. the prices are cheap but the service isn't as good, i guess you get what you pay for. The people who work here are nice and they do a good job. My issue is that they don't honor appointment times. At least three times I've made an appointment and been early or on time and had to wait 25-40 minutes before someone is available. I really wish they would improve the scheduling because it's a good nail salon; I'm just not willing to wait more than 10 minutes past my appointment time anymore. read more

I've come here about three times and two of those times haven't had such a great experience. The first time I was having difficulty deciding what color to use on my feet since the shellac doesn't have an exact match. You could tell the owner (female not sure of her name) was getting annoyed with me simply because I was taking some time to decide and also because I was considering the dip powder but then changed my mind. Either way the nail technician did an amazing job so I came back. The next time I had made an appt for 6 pm and I work all the way in Deerfield so I hauled my behind trying to make it on time and I was only a few minutes late. The owner (same female) was soooo visibly upset and asked me didn't you say 6? Look at the time. Or something like that. I was so irritated because not only am I exhausted after working but I have to deal with this when I didn't mean to be late (again, it was only a few minutes past 6) and am coming to give you business. it made me feel really bad. Even though the nail technician was also good this time and even though I live within walking distance of this place, I'm going somewhere else. If you don't have customer service skills, I don't need to go and spend my hard earned money and time. read more

What a gem this place is. I am from out of town, but getting a pedicure with my girlfriend is a must every time we visit. This place did a fabulous job. It is clean, spacious and very friendly. The husband and wife owners are just the sweetest people.They just opened 5 months ago and are relying on word of mouth, rather than advertising, to spread the good word. Rainbow Nails is decidedly my favorite nail salon I've ever been to. They're super mindful of the time it takes to get what you need done & won't rush you or overbook themselves so, bear that in mind when trying to schedule a full set of acrylics & a pedicure an hour before they close, lol. But somehow they always have availability! I find the pricing cheaper that I would have ever expected for the quality of work. Minh (!) has never done me wrong & Lynn does great work as well! Worst pedicure I've ever had. I came here randomly while my dog was at the groomers down the street and asked for a simple pedicure. Apparently there was a wait, but no one told me! They just had me sit in a pedicure chair, where I waited for 25 minutes while they took care of other clients. Finally the woman came to do my pedicure and she kept hurting me. Every time I flinched, said ow or moved my foot, she just grabbed it and kept going. Never asked if I was ok or what bothered me. She used a dremmel (the drill they use for acrylic nails) instead of acetone to remove my polish. Which is beyond lazy and damages the nail for absolutely no reason. The rest of the pedicure was sub par and I will never be back. Overpriced for terrible service. read more

Super clean salon. I wish I knew her name, but the associate who did my pedicure was terrific. Very polite, very efficient. She spent close to an hour just prepping my toenails and massage before painting them. I love this spa!! I travel about 20 miles to go to Rainbow Nails! read more
