I came in without an appointment and was told there were no openings until 3:30. I then asked if they could just remove my liquid gel, and I was told yes. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. The technician removing my gel nails cut my fingers twice during the process. Not once did he apologize. Instead, he simply pulled my hand forward and continued as if nothing happened, which was uncomfortable and unacceptable. To make matters worse, the front desk experience was shockingly unprofessional. The person working the desk was more focused on discussing her SATs and not getting into FGCU than on the customers in front of her- customers who were paying and clearly having a poor experience. Overall, this was careless, unprofessional, and honestly awful. New management or not, basic customer service and safety were clearly lacking. Check out the photo of my nails after "service" was rendered. They were left beaten up, sore, and in worse condition than when I arrived. Do not recommend.

It took a little driving around to figure out how to enter the parking lot and parking spaces are a bit tight. After realizing my mistake, I logged onto their website through Yelp to check the booking process. I was relieved to find the booking platform was user-friendly, which allowed me to quickly book the first available appointment (Regular pedicure with French) they had for the afternoon (12:45 PM). Shortly after booking, I did receive a text message confirmation of my appointment. I decided to find somewhere to grab a bite to eat before returning for my appointment time. When I returned I was quickly checked in by their receptionist and brought back to the pedicure chairs. I was greeted nicely but the pedicurist didn't introduce herself so I can't confirm her name, but online it said my appointment was with Lissa. There was one client leaving when I arrived and another getting a manicure. The salon is very spacious and clean. A very strong citrus scent fills the building. Very light spa music played in the background throughout my visit. The TV plays videos of various island resort beaches. The gel polish removal process was very natural. No drill was used. From there she proceeded with my pedicure which was ok. She was very gentle in handling my feet and legs. I was a bit disappointed at the cold pedicure water and there were no jets or bubbles but maybe that's included with the higher priced pedicure options. This salon is DEAD SILENT lol like you can hear a pin drop in here. Very different than what I am use to. Lissa did a good job of cleaning the nail beds and achieving my desired length and shape. The outcome of the French was also just ok. I personally didn't really care for how thin the French on my big toes were but all other nails came out flawless. Their pedicure chairs are some of the most comfortable I've experienced. The massage is gentle and doesn't violently knead your back while the chairs themselves hug you like a glove. I don't know if I would return but I would definitely recommend to anyone who lives close by. Especially anyone very big on natural nail restoration. My total was $56.65 not including tip. My itemized bill was conveniently emailed to me within minutes of checking out.

She kept speaking to me very quickly and expected me to understand everything she was saying, even though she has a strong accent herself. Whenever I politely asked her to repeat something because I couldn't understand her, she became visibly annoyed instead of being patient. She also got irritated because I took some time choosing my nail polish color, and she seemed unhappy with the nail shape I selected. Overall, she had a very unpleasant attitude during the entire appointment. When we finished and I mentioned that my pedicure appointment was with Rio, she became extremely upset. She said, "Next time, go to Rio for your hands too if you're so happy with him." I calmly replied, "I'm happy with you for my manicure." But she kept saying, "No, next time go to him." After that, she didn't even apply the hand cream or cuticle oil that is normally part of the service. She simply rushed me out of her station as if she wanted me gone as quickly as possible. I asked her, "Is there a rule that I have to book both services with the same person?" She answered, "Yes." After that, I went to the lady at the front desk to explain what had happened. At that point, Michelle suddenly started saying, "No, I didn't say that." But I am 100% certain that she did. I have lived in the United States for years and hold a TOEFL certificate, so I had no trouble understanding what she said. Then she turned around, walked away, and continued complaining in her own language. I found that incredibly disrespectful. I came to this salon in the middle of my day to relax, enjoy myself, and feel refreshed. Instead, my entire day was ruined. I left feeling incredibly stressed and upset, and I'm writing this review while I'm still trying not to cry. This was a very disappointing experience. No customer deserves to be treated this way.
