My friend and I both had an appointment at 6PM, the receptionist on the phone told me to come a few minutes early to pick a color etc. We both got there by 5:45PM. Once we picked our colors, we were assisted right away. We both just wanted regular manicure/pedicure combination. My nails grow nicely, so I never get tips or fake nails. However for people whose nails don't grow as much, they have great options. Sophia was the nail technician who took care of me. She was a bit quiet but that's awesome, I love when they concentrate on the nails. My friend and I chatted it up in the whole process. Sophia was sweet to offer us bottles of water. She even fixed my toe nail after the whole thing was over since my clumsy self messed up one of them. They close at 7 PM but didn't rush us. My cuticles are so torn up and it's painful. Getting your nails done only to be in pain and have to cover with bandages was not what I had in mind. I came to this salon today because they had decent reviews. Upon entering, it was clean and organized. I came in for a manicure. The nail tech started to put on the polish and the polish was streaking. I waited for her to put a second coat thinking it would fix the issue. It didn't. I asked her to put another coat. It looked better, but you could see a little of the streaks. While I was looking at my nails they looked horrible. The sides weren't covered with polish on alot of them, there was nail polish on my fingers and she never cleaned up the edges so by my cuticle were uneven. I wasn't going to say anything. But while I was paying, I kept looking at them and I was super annoyed the more I looked at them so I told the guy who was taking my payment. He offered to fix it. He tried cleaning up her mess but used tweezers which then made marks on a couple of them which he covered with more polish and never cleaned up the edges. I let them dry for about 30 minutes, which I thought was sufficient. When I went to get something out of my bag, my nails were all ruined. They were still wet! There were so many coats that i was just able to peel the polish off. What a waste of money and time!!! Horrible service and work from that technician!! read more

Walked in and was greeted right away and told to pick a color for my nails. I chose a light pink which now looks like almost a lavender (NexGen) which I don't mind but it doesn't look exactly like the color I chose. I was seated for my nails first, which I was surprised at how quickly I was helped considering it was a weekend and I didn't have an appointment. The NexGen looks amazing but the only thing is my cuticle was cut on a lot of my fingers sadly and bled. I've heard amazing things about NexGen so I am excited to see how long they last. I also got a pedicure which looks really good as well and matches my manicure perfectly. The lady who helped me was super nice and talkative too, although she didn't say anything about my nails that were bleeding. Overall very clean environment and pretty quick- you'll be in & out fast. Make sure you bring cash to tip so you don't have to use their ATM, you can't tip on a card and there's a $15 (I believe) limit if your trying to pay both cash and card by splitting it. read more

Took off my acrylics for another full set after getting a fill from here and it breaks my heart to see these bad boys. It was not a pleasant discovery and i'm sure one picture proves more than a thousand words. A mid age lady did my fills when i came in, and it was a quick fill. From the way she takes my acrylics off to the way she paints my nails was not what i would have expected from all the nice reviews below. The fill was lumpy and the paint job was very "inconsiderate". Missing spots and the top part of the paint job was not rounded as i want it to be until i spoke up and asked the tech to round it up with the acrylics driller. Maybe I'm technically too picky, or maybe my expectation was too high. Nevertheless, the visit was my first, and will be my last at this salon. read more

Right next to Brooklyn Bagels, this spot is very clean, run very well and do have a good team of tech's. I have been going to this place for a year, and it was okay, to be fair the place is very clean and the owner really cares for his clients. However, today was my last visit, even it was convenient location . I came in for regular gel mani, pedi and brows touch up. I was offered new technology gel that stays longer but no one told it's an hour long to apply. Toes and nails were supposed to match, however I ended up with dark burgundy toes and bright red nails. After 2.5 hours I had no patience to redo anything. The last and the most major to me. I had beautiful thick brows, and I had in mind just a touch up, I ended up with thin like a thread disproportional brows, when. I have my 30 birthday celebration next day. I can't stop crying, I look ugly! And nothing wld help Me, not a bad review on yelp and not the sentiments from the salon, I just don't get how someone can go from one to another! My first time here a few months back, I got a gel manicure, 2 days after, they began peeling off. i went back and thankfully they were willing to have another technician fix it. My next visit, this past weekend, my boyfriend and i got pedicures. Really high prices are disappointing nails. My first time here was yesterday and got a full set of ombré nexgen nails. For $55 I expected them to be great yet the ombré ended up looking more like layers, the nails were slightly different shapes/lengths, and on top of that less than 24 hours after I got them one snapped in half from pulling out a drawer!!!! Ridiculous. Went back to get it fixed and they tried to "patch" it which ended up making it look even more botched than before. Manager let me get the nail redone but it still doesn't make up for all that unnessesary time spent. UPDATE: after 3 days, 3 nails have broken. CHEAPEST PRODUCT EVER.
