HORRIBLE pedicure. The polish dried and looked very wrinkly. He redid the big toes again and gooped on a ton of clear polish on top to make the wrinkles look less noticeable. He knew I wasn't happy but rushed me for a credit card as soon as it was finished. I should have paid attention to the reviews and stayed away from this place. read more

V & V Nails - This is even after he redid my toes. Thick lines in the polish. - Nail Salons Near Me - Delray Beach, Florida

I scheduled an appt for a full set and a pedicure. She didn't do my pedicure because she ran out of time and she just put acrylic on my big toes. They're crooked and not shaped well but she charged me for it. I'm very unhappy with my nails. I told her they were too short to do the shape I wanted right from the start. I asked her to fix the shaping and the crooked nails multiple times and they still look like this. I just got back from my appt and they already look like they're starting to grow out because she didn't put the acrylic all the way down. She didn't do enough coats of the polish so they're splotchy and my nails weren't dry when I left. I'm extremely disappointed with the shaping and I asked her to fix it enough times to the point where I felt like I was offending her. I never leave reviews like this but she asked me to come back for my pedicure the next day and I said "I'm sorry honestly I don't think I'm going to come back I'm just unhappy with the way my nails turned out." She asked me to point out what I didn't like, so I did, and then she told me I never asked her to fix them. These nails took an hour and a half and they look like this. She then said she's never spent that long on someone's nails. I already felt bad someone was waiting and despite my attempts they still were not fixed. Then she started denying that anything was wrong with them. She took my hand and showed the other customer waiting and asked her if she saw anything wrong with them and brought her into it too. It felt very unprofessional to bring another customer into the situation. She charged me $85. I wanted to see if I could pay half but she had a tone that made me uncomfortable and an attitude. I'm extremely disappointed and upset not only with the services but the behavior. If I'm paying $85 I want to be happy with my nails and I'm not. This was very uncomfortable for me because I never speak up and I always try to trust the process but this was unacceptable. I apologized for taking up her time but I'm simply just unhappy with the way they look. Now I'm out $85 and I have to go somewhere else to get them fixed and do my pedicure. It felt extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. read more

Vi is really good, on time and very pleasant. She's the only nail tech in the salon. She did a great job on my acrylic gel fill.

Me and a friend had gel and powder manicures. The owner is very friendly. There was only her and a gentleman working, no other staff. Although my powder manicure wasn't terrible it wasn't great. The powder didn't extend to the outer edges on a few nails. No towel was put down on the table to capture the dust, nail trimmings etc. From a quick look around there was a film of dust everywhere. The instruments used were old and not sealed as most salons have these days. My cuticles were not pushed back or cut, which I would have declined since what they did use was not sterile. There was no hand lotion applied. I noticed a woman getting a pedicure and the tub did not have a plastic liner like all salons use now. This place needs a thorough cleaning. We will not be returning. read more

I was in desperate need of getting my nails redone after breaking a few at work this past week. when i found out my usual salon in west delray was closed i looked on here and found this spot. i figured i'd give it a try. as soon as i called they were nice and seemed very organized with their appointments and got me in the same afternoon. The salon is tucked in the corner of a shopping center on federal highway but it wasn't hard to find at all. It was very clean and you could tell they took good care of the place. the only thing that caught me off guard is that they have a curtain to seperate what they use as what i'm assuming is a back storage room or break room. they also had a mop bucket sitting visibly in the corner that i felt like brought down the image that they were going for. it is a little smaller of a salon with only 4 pedicure and 6 manicure chairs and there were only 2 people working. They had what looked like a wide variety for regular polish but their next gen options were a little slim. didn't really seem like anything other than 15 shades of pink and the occasional purple or blue. The 2 people that were working both seemed very sweet and they seemed to have many regulars come through just in the time that i was there. i could tell that they really care about their customers. My nails came out nice, a little chunkier than i usually go for but definitely not bad!! the pedicure was just a basic spa pedicure. i usually do a hot stone pedicure but it didn't look like they offered any special options. it was still very relaxing and looks nice as well. Living in west delray, they didn't do a good enough job for me to switch from my salon that is right around the corner but in a pinch i would definitey give them another go. read more

I'm visiting from out of town and needed a gel manicure and pedicure. I walked to this place and have no regrets. They were so friendly and accommodating. The place was very clean and covid compliant and above all they did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend! read more

The reason I'm giving them 1 star is because I can't give them zeros. The owners are rude! An unprofessional! I have been going to this place for about 6 months and the owners wife has an attitude problem. I think she's jealous about any woman that her husband helps! I have made couple of appointments around 6 pm and when I have arrive they are closed even thought he sign says the are open until 7 pm. They are also very expensive for the poor service that they give you they don't even scrub your feet the correct way. If you asked them to do any extra scrubbing they want to charge you for it! Horrible place! Rude rude rude! Stay away from this places read more

Probably one of the worst manicures I've ever gotten. I got a dip manicure there and they put gel on top of it for some reason and the gel started peeling off in less then a week. The color was very different from the sample, not what I wanted, he shaped my nails all crazy and he also didn't do anything for my cutiicles, not even oil, so I left with a fresh manicure (that didn't look good) and gross looking cuticles. Nothing was even cleaned properly. Don't go here. read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS UNSANITARY Salon !!!! This place was not clean , nor did the follow proper protocol with disinfecting and sanitation in many ways . During my pedicure a liner was not placed in the tub 2, she pulled out and used a buffer that was stained with brown and yellow stains ! Then when it was time for her to scrub my feet she grabbed a old used pumice buffer (REALLY! Upscale salons with great sanitation use disposable kits & things like tweezers and cuticle cleaners are sanitized and in new wrappers each time) . These days there is no reason for nail salon to not use disposable kits and most do because it cuts down the risk of infection. Then after scrubbing my feet she dropped it in the dirty pedicure water , let the water flow on it and simply dropped it in the cart and is going to use it on someone without even cleaning it with antibacterial soap and sanitizing it ! After putting on my polish she had the nerve to try to use that old school polish cleaner that has the built in sponge that harvest bacteria like no other . It was literally brown on the inside and looked disgusting I had had enough and I told her please do not put that on my toes she grabbed my foot and still wanted to put it on there I said NO That is disgusting . Why can't you guys simply use a clean glass jar with polish remover like most nail salons that thing is full of bacteria . She rolled her eyes and laughed . And Don't get me started on their nails polishes they're all old and mainly empty(like someone else mentioned about the gel polish) . They act as if they can't buy new nail polish and then the lady doing my pedicure got mad at me because I couldn't decide what color I wanted (well lady they're all old and nasty looking can you blame me) I'm new to the area so I wanted to try a new place and I wish I never did !!!! PLEASE take my review serious and DO NOT GO TO V&V NAILS . It's unsanitary & you're risking an infection and God knows what else . Do your research and choice a cleaner and professional place . They cut corners , use dirty and unsanitary tools ! read more

PAULA. All the stars and more for Paula. My cuticles are, and always have been, janky as hell. I bite them, she fixed them. Took so much time on them. Actually cared about them, not just working. I was floored. Great place! Lots of color choices and really nice staff. read more

This is such a great nail salon with the kindest owners running the place! I will return over and over again as long as I am living in the Delray area. I recommend it to everyone I know. read more

This place was so clean and I love the small family owned business feel. The owners were present and engaged and the prices weren't ridiculous either. Will tell all my friends read more

Just got nails done, and well they turned out pretty bad. My nail specialist was super polite and nice, but it was made clear that the color I wanted in gel was running low. I suggested the same color just not gel, and there was some bickering and between staff and my nail specialist was told basically to work with it. End result was not good. They looks super bubbly in areas, the color is light because there wasn't enough to last a couple coats. I definitely won't be coming back. read more

Very friendly, clean place. My friend and I walked in with no appointment and they were very accommodating. Did a great job on my pedicure.

Seriously best manicure I have ever had. The women who did my nails was meticulous and took a great deal of time and care to get them perfect. I actually didn't think they cold look this good. Unfortunately, I didn't get the manicurists name. The only downside was she was very hard to understand as she talks softly and mumbles and then would seem a little impatient when I didn't know what she was saying but I will deal with that to have my nails look this good. read more

I've been coming here for 5 years and LOVE everyone in this salon. They have loyal customers for a reason my sister and I are very picky about our gel mani's and pedi's and have never had an issue with their service, in fact always leave raving on how amazing of a job they do!! Read a few negative reviews below and please don't listen to the negative Nancy's... I've witnessed a few altercations over the years and it was always a walk-in that was not willing to wait OR someone had a bad attitude themselves. Vivianne runs a beautiful place; clean friendly and always a pleasant relaxing time for my family and I. Love you all!! read more

Best, long-lasting pedicure I've ever had. Just got another one with my daughter in another town and I could tell right away that it was not nearly the quality. I highly recommend this family owned and operated nail salon. read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE FOR WAXING!!! Burnt my eyebrows and all of surrounding skin. Was far from sympathetic and actually laughed. Never going back. Smelt terrible inside. And then I was paying she didn't give me any change and just expected the tip!!!! (10 for eye brown wax tip? ) very rude. read more

Great place! Very friendly and clean. Terrific color selection and lots of different types of gel polish.

I have never written a negative review for a business however after being treated the way I was by the owner of this establishment I really feel I must say something. I have been a loyal customer for two years and am always happy with the service provided by Tyler. However, Vivian has condescended to me one too many times. With no customer loyalty appreciation program Tyler is the only thing that keeps me returning. Now sadly I feel I may choose not to go back as I was treated so badly by Vivian. I try never to pass judgement and if I have an opinion I keep it to myself. I can no longer in good faith be still. This woman has serious anger management issues, She is condescending, impolite and outright rude. If I had not read this from another reviewer I would think twice, but clearly she has issues. And cares not who is present. I highly doubt the other customer will return after hearing V. condescend to me. I urge others to report this behavior as well. No one deserves to be treated this way. I did not respond to her at the time and in fact kept my mouth shut so as not to allow her to escalate, however upon leaving I was extremely hurt and angered. So be it - I have shared this now and hope others will be aware of the potential to be a victim of her uncontrolled venom. If you want to be abused verbally then by all means see Vivian! FYI - Tyler give a much better manicure and has a lovely disposition. They are also overpriced for the level of service provided. read more

I have been going to Tyler for my last few nail appointments. This salon was recommended by a friend. I was very pleased. Tyler remembers what I need done from one appt. to the next. Today I took my granddaughter to get a mani pedi with me. Sandy did her nails. She got a French gel manicure and a pedi. It turned out beautiful. Everyone was professional. By the way, Tyler is also a computer whiz. He can answer any i phone or android questions. He repairs devices and can even replace the glass on your tablet or phone! read more
