Two weeks later, my nails completely lifted, and underneath one was green -- something that has never happened to me in two decades of getting my nails done. Because I'm getting married, I went back to have the issue fixed. I wasn't expecting a full refund, but I also didn't expect to pay almost double the cost of a normal fill-in. Since one nail was green, I was understandably worried the rest might be as well. The new tech (who was actually great) had to remove everything, add new tips, and redo the entire set with hard gel. That service alone cost $95. I spoke with the manager, who initially offered only 10% off after I explained how unacceptable this situation was. He eventually agreed to 15%, but when it came time to pay, he sneakily applied the 15% discount to my pedicure -- the much cheaper service -- resulting in a discount of just $7.20. Honestly, that felt like a slap in the face. He tried to say something along the lines that it would be hurting him to give me anymore of a discount If the manager had simply done the right thing and made this situation right, I would've come back. But after this experience and the way it was handled, I will not be returning and neither should you.

She has one of those personalities that get along with many, and you can't help but love her for it. She books up fast, as do most. Kieu is the owner and has an incredible memory. You can expect to be imminently greeted by her when you walk in, and if you have visited the salon before, she'll even greet you by name. It always makes me feel like we are lifelong friends. The person working the desk was more focused on discussing her SATs and not getting into FGCU than on the customers in front of her- customers who were paying and clearly having a poor experience. Overall, this was careless, unprofessional, and honestly awful. New management or not, basic customer service and safety were clearly lacking. Check out the photo of my nails after "service" was rendered. They were left beaten up, sore, and in worse condition than when I arrived. Do not recommend.

Unfortunately, my pedicure experience was very disappointing. I was at the salon for over two hours, had the pedicure first, followed by the gel manicure, and was sent home. When I later looked at my toes, the polish was clearly not fully dry and completely smudged (see photo). These were supposed to be my wedding toenails. I returned to the salon this evening, as I am flying out today for my wedding, to request a voucher for a polish change when I return after the wedding. I explained that I could not have it fixed immediately because flying, socks, and closed shoes would ruin the polish again. The manager refused, stating I had to come back within one week for it to be fixed--despite the issue being caused by being sent home with wet polish. I return three days after their one-week policy, and there was no flexibility or customer service offered. I was told the best they could do was $5 off a future pedicure, which completely missed the point. I'm now forced to pay twice--once for this ruined pedicure and again in New York before my wedding. I regularly spend over $100 per manicure and pedicure and tip generously, and I was very surprised by the lack of professionalism and resolution. While the technicians were excellent, the management's handling of this situation was extremely disappointing. I truly wish this had been handled differently.
