Because I received both services at the same time, I had to sit in the pedicure chair but turning my torso to the left the entire time - it was super uncomfortable. All of my fingernails were cut to different lengths, there were bubbles in the white immediately, the gel is on my cuticle and was peeling within 2 days, and multiple of the nails cracked on day 3. Because a different person did my pedicure the thickness of the white tips were different, and the gel is clumped up and rough on the sides. The price was definitely not worth it.

When I got there, I found out someone had apparently cancelled my appointment. Emily, my technician, felt awful that 5his happened and @said she would stay late if I could come at 6:30. I had no choice. Just (5:45) got a call from the new owner...no real apology, just excuses that she is the new owner and she wasn't there when I made the appointment. She then told me I needed to come in at 7:00. I explained my entire afternoon had been scheduled based on the 4:00 appointment, but I clearly have no options at this point. She offered no accommodation for my inconvenience, no apology for her staff screwing up... It's not like they are the only nail salon available to any of us. UPDATE- went over there for my 7:00 appt. The new owner then told me 7:15. When I politely questioned her, she started yelling at me that she was stressed , that it was impolite that I questioned her workers at the desk about the appointment that THEY cancelled without my knowledge and she has mental health issues and can't deal with this right now. I explained calmly that I was stressed as well, she then grabbed her service dog, again said she has mental health issues and threw me out of the salon. I hadn't raised my voice, I hadn't been disrespectful. All I wanted to get a mani/pedi before my vacation. In hindsight, I should have gone elsewhere at 4:00, but out of respect for Emily, I waited. The person working the desk was more focused on discussing her SATs and not getting into FGCU than on the customers in front of her- customers who were paying and clearly having a poor experience. Overall, this was careless, unprofessional, and honestly awful. New management or not, basic customer service and safety were clearly lacking. My designs usually take the technician around 3-4 hours to do. So I have now had to take a break and now I only get pedicures around 6 times a year.
