Front of store. No cars was not busy.

I walk in at 3:55pm. Lady mopping floor. Stopped and said"ok what you want!" Very strong tone. I said I am excited to try. I hear so much about this place. Then she pointed to case and said "OK what you want! She looked angry. No gloves to start my order. After mopping. I expected her to wear some. Very strong bad attitude. So I said I changed my mind. She sarcastically "Ok". So never ordered. Disappointed. Really wanted to try this..

I LOVE DONUTS! I LOVE Rainbow Donuts! Stopped in after an early-ish flight to grab a couple donuts, and OMG...SO YUMMY! The donuts are light, airy, perfectly fresh, and the frosting is super delish. We ordered 4 donuts (glazed, maple, chocolate iced, and sugar) since we were on our way to an event. They have all the usual donuts, and then some. I cannot describe how good these were. To be honest, I wish we would've gotten more to snack on later that night. Rainbow Donuts are better than our favorite local donut shop at home. Plus, service is great, and it's super clean. We will definitely be back!

Fresh baked daily, little discs of delight! Thank you Rainbow Donuts for always providing the tastiest breakfast treats. I swing by here sometimes on my way to work if I want to treat my team to something nice. They're an affordable luxury! Rainbow Donuts is clean inside and the service is always prompt and friendly.

I'm new to AZ and leaving my hometown was TOUGH as heck because I knew I was going to leave my favorite donut shop. Every state I go, I compare other donut shops to my first donut shop love. I'm so happy to say this hits closest to home. I typically order the same thing.. a plain chocolate donut and the only thing I seek in every donut is the right amount of fluffiness. This hits home.

Wonderful donuts. Our favorite traditional type of donuts in AZ. The split cream filled is bomb but you have to get there early as they make limited quantities and sells out by 8!

    Saint Patrick's Day selection.

The best donuts in town. Rainbow supplies our donut table on Sundays. We go through all 23 dozen each week.

Gotta love these owner on premises places--what a sweet woman who waited on me and gave me an apple-filled bear claw, which had nice fresh doughiness, but the filling tasted more like pie filling from a can, but I liked the crumbly bit topping over the too-sticky glazes most places always put on bear claws. This one actually looked more like a claw too with discernible appendages that were fun to pull off one by one for ease of eating. Unfortunately, I wanted to try some of the more unique donuts I'd read about, esp. the maple-bacon, but they were all out by the time I arrived at 11:00 am.m so my choices had to be from the more usual items. Prices best if you order more, so would be best to plan to share.

I have been to this location a few times. The first time I tried rainbow donuts was because I heard so many good things about this place. When I looked at the pictures on yelp, I wasn't impressed but when I tried them, they were reallllly good! Rainbow donuts is probably my favorite donut place in Phoenix area. I loved grabbing a few dozens to share with my coworkers at work. :) cannot wait to visit again!!

It smells like death when you walk in. It's some funk smell!!!!! Rainbow donut would get 5 stars if they didn't smell gross. We came into to get some donuts at 1pm They don't have much left SOOO I'm going to assume that's a great sign right? The donuts here are surprisingly pretty good.

I was waiting for Zia Records to open in this plaza when I noticed Lucky Donuts in the corner and I just had to come in and get a couple for breakfast. This shop is simple enough where you enter, see a ton of donuts, a case full of drinks, and some other random stuff, but mostly I'm just here for the donuts. The employee working was super freaking friendly and ended up giving me a free donut because I had to wait for literally one minute for her to come up, which is 100% absolutely not a problem at all, but it was super sweet of her anyway. I ended up ordering a glaze crawler and a chocolate frosted donut as well, and I think the free one was maple glazed if I'm not mistaken. All three of the donuts were top notch delicious and I can't think of a single non positive thing to say. Overall, Lucky Donuts might just be a standard donut shop, but top notch service and delicious donuts make this place something special. Hungry? Lucky Donuts got you.

They had a pretty decent variety of donuts available, considering the time I went (3pm on a Monday). That being said, the fruit loop donut I had this time was a bit stale (more so the doughnut, than the cereal). Overall, a perfectly fine stop if you're in the area and have a sweet tooth. Just don't expect greatness.

This is a decent cake donut. Nothing super special or exciting, nothing unpleasant about it. Strawberry sprinkle: 3 stars. Didn't have much strawberry flavor but the donut itself was good. Pumpkin spice coffee cake donut: 5 stars. This was delicious. No detractors to this donut whatsoever. Cinnamon roll: 4 stars. Pretty decent. Comparable to some of the better donut places out there. Definitely a good stop for donuts if you're in the area! Maple bacon: 4.5 stars. Bacon was still crunchy. Maple had good flavor. Great donut. Cinnamon crumb: 4.5 stars. Really good. Lots of cinnamon flavor. Great crunch. Vanilla cream custard cronut: 5 stars. Raspberry on top was lovely. Custard was delicious and well spread across the donut. Creme brulee: 4 stars. Donut was moist. Cream was good but not much of a crunch on the outside. Raspberry on top gets 5 stars.

They offer several specialty flavors, as well as traditional and choose-your-own. My go-to is maple with Nutella drizzle, but right now they're doing a Pumpkin Spice Powdered Sugar with Carmel Drizzle and pecan pieces. It's really good! The pumpkin spice is mixed into the powder sugar, so it's a nice and mild pumpkin flavor on a very sweet treat! This is a great spot for kids and families! It's been awhile since I have had a good customer service experience like this- it was refreshing. My daughter got the cereal killer donut and I got an iced Carmel machiatto- made well (it was just the perfect amount of sweet with sugar free syrup options too!). Inside is super colorful and the menu has super clear photos so you know what you are ordering. My daughter loved the wall because she got to color while we were waiting for my coffee. They let visitors color on the wall every month, then take a photo, and then wipe it off so it's fresh for the next month's customers. Overall, great experience and the donut was delicious' we also got to sample the ice cream apple pie (I will totally be back for this).

The inside of the shop is also really spacious, which I loved. it makes it a nice place to sit and hang out. That said, the overall quality was good but not amazing, and I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to come back. One downside was the parking situation, it's pretty tight out front and the curb is really high. I actually scraped the bottom of my car door when opening it, which was frustrating.
