A hidden gem in Burbank! It's a small café, but their food portions are huge! The lamb chops were massive and so tender, and I also loved the kabob. The servings were very generous! The service was great--staff were attentive and friendly. The ambiance was nice and quiet, perfect for just relaxing and savoring your meal. They also serve pizzas, which we haven't tried yet--but we definitely will when we come back! Ps: Their homemade white sauce is the perfect pairing with the meat! It's seriously the best!! ‍

First impression walking in the guy upfront is really welcoming good customer service. I ordered the beef kabob with extra rice. The beef they used is flap meat which was nice and tender and had a really good marinate to it. The place is is located in a nice lil plaza will most def come back and this will be one of my top 5 spots kebob to go too.

Friendly staff and tasty meal. However, there were multiple people smoking outside, and the smoke started drifting into the restaurant while we're eating. I wish the owner wouldn't allow people to smoke right outside the restaurant door.

One of the best Adjarskie Khachspuri I ever tried. I was offered to try the one with veggies and I am glad I did. Very Very good. Not too much cheese, double egg ( standard ) , just enough veggies and a great combination.

Honestly it's been a while since I've seen such top tier customer service. Took care of me recommended special dishes and made me an authentic Armenian coffee! The ambiance is amazing due to the cultural uniqueness. A must, a gem in Burbank!

I ordered dinner for my family from Rafo's Cafe last week because we wanted to try a different spot for Middle Eastern food. I ordered for takeout through their website, and I was concerned because it was around 7:10pm and they close at 8pm. Luckily, I was able to place an order and select a pickup time within half an hour. I chose the Chicken Lule Kabob Plate and Beef Lule Kabob Plate. Both plates came with two dense skewers of meat. I thought the beef lule was juicier and more flavorful than the chicken lule. Both plates had fluffy white basmati rice; they put so much rice that it made the takeout trays quite heavy. For one of the plates, I selected sides of hummus and yogurt spinach, which was my fave side from the whole meal as it was tangy and paired well with the chicken and beef lule. The hummus was alright and similar to what I've tried at other restaurants. On the other plate, I selected sides of shirazi salad and tomato & green pepper, which added some freshness to the meal, but overall, they were just fine. Also, each plate came with a piece of pita bread, which tasted better when warmed up. As for ambiance and service, I can't write much since I had a family member go pick-up the food. However, they reported that it was easy to find parking in the small plaza and received the food on-time. For the price, I think you get quite a lot of food if you order the plates. Two plates fed my family of 4 people. The online ordering system was convenient, too! I'm glad that I gave Rafo's Cafe a try, and maybe I'll visit in the future when I've exhausted my usual places.

Came to this spot for lunch a few weeks ago between appointments. It was a good decision. He was friendly the place was small but very nice. The guy there asked if my husband and I wanted a side plate or we wanted he can split the plate for us. I was very surprised not a lot of places i've been to offer that I appreciated that. Everything tasted very good, meat was juicy. Next time I'm in the area I would like to try their pizzas.

So me and my wife were in the area and were craving some kind of Mediterranean Food and we found this place. Menu looked interesting (they have pizza, sandwiches and Mediterranean Food) The pictures looked good so we decided to pull up and give it a try. Very Polite as we entered and it smelled so good. FYI the food was great and we will definitely be back

My better half and I have been to the Studio City location, but it was our first time at the Burbank one. There's street parking all around but it's not mission impossible in these parts. Inside is not too big but not too small (just right!). You order at the counter and they bring the pizza to you. We ordered the Pepperoni Ultimo (pepperoni, green bell peppers, pineapple, buffalo sauce) along some Mexican cokes. It took a bit for the pizza to be ready, but anything worth doing is worth doing right. The pizza is definitely on the doughier side, so if that's how you enjoy you zza this is the place to be. Lucifer's Pizza is pretty damn good, so if you're around and feeling like a slice, give them a shot!

Other reviewers have commented that the pizza is very "doughy," but I love that. It has a perfect crispy/chewy consistency and thickness, I think. I've ordered delivery a few times and the pizza is so freshly made that you had to hold each slice to keep the ingredients from sliding off. My fave pizza is the Zucha, which has pumpkin, olives, feta, zucchini, red bell pepper, and spinach. I know it's a little bit of a weird pizza and for parties, I'll usually order just a personal Zucha for myself and anyone who wants to try along with the more crowd-pleasing pizzas. But I love unique menu items and this combo is just so delicious together. Lucifer's is just a tad pricey to be our usual pizza go-to, but I always look forward to ordering from here.

The best Hawaiian pizza ever!…read more We tried the Hawaiian Hit Man, & even my friend who is NOT usually a fan of pineapple on pizza loved this one. The pineapple is fresh - not canned like you usually find on pizzas - and it's sliced suuuper thinly, so it's still crispy. Then there's smoked ham and Applewood smoked bacon on it, and honey! We got the thin NY style & seriously, I'd come back just for this. We also tried the Detroit style Sweet Gino. We wanted to like this just as much, but it was too bready for us. If you like a puffy thick crust, this one is actually light - not as heavy as others. And the sauce is very good. Since this is the only place I have ever seen that uses fresh pineapple, & their Hawaiian is so good, I will definitely be back!

The spread looked impressive on the table, and the presentation alone earns points. The Focaccia was a standout -- beautifully topped with pools of fresh mozzarella, bright tomato sauce, and fragrant basil. Light, airy, and full of flavor. The Detroit style was equally impressive -- thick, crispy-edged crust with sauce ladled generously on top and finished with fresh herbs. Both were outstanding and absolutely worth the trip. The New York style was loaded -- we're talking pepperoni, sausage, olives, cherry tomatoes, and roasted peppers piled high. Visually, it's a showstopper. But flavor-wise, it didn't quite match the excitement. It was good, just not distinctly different from what you'd expect at a chain. For a chef of Tony Gemignani's caliber, the NY slice felt like it was coasting. One consistent issue across the meat toppings: extremely salty. It was noticeable enough that we were reaching for drinks throughout the meal -- whether that's intentional or not, it's worth flagging if you're watching your sodium. Overall, come for the Focaccia and Detroit -- they're the real stars here. Skip the NY slice unless you're curious, and budget for drinks.

Okay, so this is going to be a long, detailed account of a review. Because this was a…read moremulti-occasion encounter & therefore, there are multiple interactions which I need to state in order to be fair about the review I'm leaving. I placed an order for two pizzas which my boyfriend picked up. There were no issues with that. In fact, the pizza looked great in all honesty. My family of 3 are avid pizza lovers, so if we like a pizza, we will continue to order it over & over & be lifelong customers. I go through phases, & I will eat at one place until I miss another type of food. Minded, we don't eat out everyday, but perhaps once a week, every week-with the exception of when we find a good Mexican restaurant or Italian restaurant & we will go there on the weekly basis. (And then we alternate, but admittedly, we eat a lot of food. ) I also have a degree in restaurant management, so I know how to talk to customers. I know that when a customer leaves upset, that's never a good thing. They should always leave happy. When you run a restaurant, you should touch every table, ensuring your guests' happiness. Should a customer leave upset, they will never come back & tell all their friends about the horrible experience. You should never have an unhappy customer, regardless of how great you feel your food is. It's all relative. Everyone's taste is different. However, this behavior, well, it's repulsive. The pizza was quite expensive, (Over $50.00 for 2 pizzas, but they were "XL") and when my BF brought them home, they LOOKED good. I don't think they were stingy on the amount of ingredients, and we paid for/ordered both pizzas with a thick crust. Because I'm trying to be as fair as possible, I am mentioning all the possible "pro's" I can so it isn't a one-sided review. and unlike many places who call a pizza "thick crust" when it's really just "regular pizza", the pizza here was actually decently thick. So VISUALLY, it looked acceptable, but TASTE wise, well, that's a whole other story. And it gets worse after this, I swear. My boyfriend is the kind of man who will eat just about anything. I have accidentally burnt his toast when making breakfast, and he saw me going to throw it away to make better toast. (It was REALLY BURNT) He grabbed it from me and happily ate it claiming, "I love it like this." You could bring him the wrong plate at a restaurant, and he'd happily eat it. My teenage son, who is almost 20, (19 is barely a teen, but old enough to eat a good amount, and he's not even a little bit picky.) This is just a bit of important background, so you understand the severity of the bad taste issue. All three of us sat down to eat, and my BF gave everyone each A slice. My son would normally eat half a pizza if he had been hungry enough, and after working all day, he was definitely hungry. My son ate most of his slice, and I noticed he did not go back for seconds. I don't think he even finished the crust. My boyfriend did the same, and the slices were small. So, this XL pizza probably had about 6-8 slices per half. (For context, SBARRO has 6 slices for their XL entire XL pizza, making each half only 3 slices.) I took a bite, and I spit it out and discarded it in my napkin. When no one wanted more, I put my piece back in the box, and saw that the rest of the pizza in the box had not been touched. By morning, it was the same, and that is NEVER the case, not even with subpar pizza places which we'd never order again.
