Once again, the food was stone cold. This time it was the Greek Chicken....it used to be so good. So disappointing. Probably my last visit here. read more

Absolute perfection. Ambiance is wonderful (I suggest getting a rezzy unless you're ok with sitting at the bar). Appetizers- start out with ANY of the sushi. Hands down some of the best sushi I've ever had in my life. (Or try the deviled eggs, which are a side dish. Super tasty) Lunch-Had the ahi tuna salad....kale...almonds...tomatoes...it's heavenly. I always love a vibrant and well balanced salad with protein, lots of veggies and greens and they hit the nail on the head. Service is exemplary as well-was very impressed, particularly during a lunch rush. read more

Disappointed with the service. Incredibly rushed....rushed to order, food was at the table in less than 10 minutes, and check was on the table shortly thereafter. Not the first time this happened. it's unfortunate because the food is good, although overpriced. I will opt out of going here next time read more

Amazing food accompanied by a great atmosphere! Their menu is simple but thoughtful and will definitely please all of your party. R+D is home to some of the freshest sushi I've ever had - they make a California Roll pop with flavor! Overall, the ambiance is great with a large bar and outdoor patio. Definitely a must try spot in the Park Cities area! read more

I love this place. The service is perfect. The food is perfect. The drinks are perfect. Every time it's all perfect. Worth the wait. I take almost all of my business lunches here. Love it read more

Since day one we have been fans of R+D. Inviting. Intimate. Formal but not stuffy or pretentious. Still a gem to the neighborhood.

This place is neat I enjoyed it. It definitely has a small menu but everything I tried was exceptionally good. It has a romantic attitude on the inside. They have a nice patio to sit at outside. It's in a great area of town. The only thing I didn't like was how rushed I felt to get out of the restaurant . It seemed like they wanted to get us in and out quick to make room to seat other guest. They kept coming by and trying to take my plate while I was still eating. It was rude . read more

I read the reply of the restaurant manager, went there a few more times and still feel (much to my dismay) that this place is loosing its touch. Another bad development is that Opentable reservation is not available anymore. I used to make reservations through the R&D website using Opentable. Now the website says it is "walk-ins only". What a great customer service. After coming here almost every weekend for the last couple of years, my wife and I are done. Too bad. read more

I went to R + D Kitchen today for Lunch with a colleague of mine, we literally walked right in and sat right down at the bar, I couldn't believe it. I ordered the Newporter Salad and had to add goat cheese because R + D is one of the few restaurants that serves an excellent goat cheese in DFW. All I can say is wow, it was awesome! I give it 4 stars, Atmosphere is warm, and although packed, it wasn't too loud. The salad had great presentation, texture, and good balance of ingredients. It was a tossed salad not with too little or too much salad dressing. It was very well done, they nailed it! Also I'm a huge fan of Kio fish, so I really enjoyed the water feature out side! Good job R + D Kitchen I will be back for more. read more

I ate here last week with a friend and we were very impressed with how the R+D staff worked to ensure our health and safety without compromising on service. When we arrived, Jessica was seating people with reservations right away and directing people whose tables weren't ready yet outside, so as not to congregate. Our server, Megan, was incredibly friendly and checked up on use throughout our meal, but she kept a comfortable distance. The food was great as usual and service was fast even though the restaurant was pretty busy when we were there. As we were leaving, Lydia, one of the managers, went above and beyond recognizing us from a visit a while back and she took the time to check in and make sure we had a good experience. We will definitely be going back considering how well R+D is caring for its guests during COVID. read more

To say that R+D is one of my favorite places would be an understatement. I've been going for what seems like forever - and enjoy the laid back atmosphere, the friendly waitstaff (1 of which is a friend), and their food. I'm pretty predictable by now: Deviled eggs for a starter, then the Newporter. I normally go with friends - who have much more "Dalitude" than I do - but they still enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. Unfortunately, I had an experience yesterday that will (a) keep me from ever returning; (b) make sure I recommend that none of my vast number of friends ever go or return; and (c) gives me fodder for (unfortunately) a bad review on Urbanspoon and the other review sites I post on. One of only a tiny handful I've ever written. Because I like food. I like even places that SEEM to try. And I like to give everyone a "second chance". Not in this instance. So why so upset? Yesterday, I went to R+D to relax and unwind. I own a few companies - and have been working around the clock on a variety of new projects. Stressed and wanting to unwind with good food, I called a friend who has been to R+D MANY times before and loves it. It's 108 in Dallas - so, as you can imagine, cool, comfortable clothing is the "name of the game" - if you even want to survive walking from your car to any business. I had on shorts and an SMU t-shirt... and my friend had on shorts and a $200 Armani designer tank top. We walk in - and hostess #1 greets us with a smile, asks if there are 2 of us, and I say "yes". Hostess #2 walks up behind her and says it'll be a 30-minute wait (we can see why. it's packed) - but we're more than welcome to go to the bar and she'll come find us. With a smile, she directs us to the bar. Between the hostess and the bar, I'm guessing the General Manager... or whoever is managing the kitchen... walks up to my friend and says, "I'll have to ask you to leave. You have to have sleeves in here" - and then points us to the door. Really? That's how you treat your long-time clients? With a dismissive "please leave"? IF that's your rule, awesome. Is it on your website, your door, printed anywhere other than in your brain? I actually felt a little "dressed down" because of my $20 T-Shirt. I never thought for a moment we'd get kicked out because of my friend's $200 Armani tank top. And the fact that we were dismissed so quickly and rudely was kind of shocking. He wasn't apologetic. He didn't go out of his way to soften the blow. He didn't say, "Actually, we do have a hidden policy that we don't let people know about - that says you have to have sleeves that come half-way down your arm, regardless of what the clothing looks like... but, because you obviously wouldn't know that... I'll find you a great seat at the chef's bar" Or something. You don't dismiss people, long term customers, with a flick of the wrist. You don't push people out the door who regularly drop $80 to $120 every time they visit. Or do you? And what's worse is that I know this can't be their policy, because - in this 108 degree heat - I actually went with ANOTHER friend who wore a tank top into R+D about 2 weeks ago. So is this a "per person" rule? Something only applied here and there. And, does this only apply to men? What about the women who were there with sleeveless shirts and dresses? I love the food. The service is even amazing. But when you let one person arbitrarily throw someone out - for a non-issue like this - it can really create long-term damage for your business. So, as much as I love the food, I won't go back. read more

My second voyage on the SS RD, was even better than the first...if that is even possible. This is a great place for what we did last night, a family birthday dinner. We all shared and got to try a ton of different stuff from their stellar menu. I wanted to order everything. We started off with an order of the quac dip and pimento dip, that come together, with chips. It was so good, we ordered another. I had the Wild Mushroom Meatloaf, because I can't NOT order meatloaf if it is on the menu. And outside of my dear sweet mother's meatloaf, it was the best I've had. So tender, with giant chunks of mushrooms looming throughout, and sitting in a sweet style Worcester sauce. My meatloaf rode bitch between wilted spinach and some mashed taters, It was like the front seat of Heaven's pick up truck. Leigh F, rolled with the Rainbow roll(yup, they have sushi AND meatloaf, on the same menu) and the greatest side salad of all time. I don't know what the dressing was, but it was light and tangy, very refreshing. Pops went with the Ruebenesque Sandwich, which is a dream for me, cause i like all of the things that go into a Reuben, besides the sour crap. At R and D, they sub cole slaw for it, boom, I am in. It was a great mixture of tastes and textures. Momma had the Asian Chicken Chop Salad, and it was VERY GOOD, it had all of the usual suspect ingredients of an Asian salad, with extra noodles, all in a lettuce shell. Now, we get to the star of the show, my Sister and Bro-in-law, split the Carnitas Sandwich, which is what I had on my first visit. First of all, it is massive, and the taste is just as big as the great beast itself. Roasted pork shoulder, with lettuce, tomato, some sort of cream sauce, and avocado, piled HIGH. And it is served with a Carnitas Sauce, that is smokey and almost like BBQ, for dipping. Use it, and all of your wildest dreams will come true. The service is second to none, our man Paul, took such good care of us, it was like we were his only table. The place is very nice, but not so nice, that you can't go casual. It is a bit pricey, but worth it, we will be back to try more dishes. It takes a lot, to get me interested in going back and trying new things just based on a couple. I am impressed, Russ and Dangle(made up names for R and D) read more

Ok. I'm just gonna get right to it. Sat at the bar since I wanted to be adventurous, go me. I ordered the Pomtini and my homegirl got the Texas Tea (firefly), mmm. We decided to start with some sushi, the Crunchy Shrimp roll to be exact. (Sidenote: When you see a sushi roll labeled "crunchy", you would think it would be tempura'd, fried or rolled in crunchy goodness right? Ok, us too). When the roll arrived, my friend ate a piece and froze. Then I took a piece and thought "mmm this is good, are there nuts in here?" Then I looked at her and she just nodded her head (food still in her mouth). She is allergic to nuts. Great. So I called the bartender over to ask and he said "yes, there are macadamia nuts in it." Oh shit. So she gets up and runs to get rid of it. The bartender asks if she's gonna be ok, I said "I'm sure she is, we have her epi-pen just in case. You should really put that there are nuts in these on the menu." He agrees and runs off (which I assume to get the manager). About 5 minutes later she returns just as the manager comes over to apologize. He offers to buy us another roll. Great. We got the California roll. It came out and man, it was really delicious, I mean you can't go wrong with that one. He came over twice again to make sure everything was ok. We mentioned to him to maybe put an asterisk on the menu next to that one. The fact that it says crunchy...leaves a lot to the imagination. He agreed and apologized again. We decided to share the Omelet. We both thought, a $15 omelet? Lets see how this bad boy fares. Cheese and rice. Seriously yum. Fluffy and light and we got it with goat cheese. It was served with this warm potato salad and fresh tomatoes. Excellent and worth every penny, I could live in a vat of that potato salad no problem. When we were done eating, we paid our bill and left. Here's the kicker and shame on me for not checking, but we PAID for the Crunchy Shrimp roll. Are you kidding me??? They didn't take it off the bill. This is not ok. The California roll wasn't on there, but that other one was. If you were going to charge us for a roll, charge us for the one we ate. He obviously had been back to update our tab since we ordered more since "Macadamia-gate". This left a sour taste in my mouth for R&D. They should have taken that off our bill, hands down. In all honesty if she had swallowed that, they would have been in a lot more trouble than a free California Roll. I gave them 3 stars based on the fact that the food was outstanding, our bartender and the manager were very nice. The restaurant has an awesome decor and my bar stool was uber cozy. But come on? Proper etiquette would have been to comp that roll. Sour Sour Sour. Hmph. Nards. read more

We had a 45 minute wait on a Monday for a table of 3. Grabbed a seat at the bar, ordered a bottle of wine and perused the menu. Decided on deviled eggs, carnitas sandwich and fries before even being seated. It was a solid order and my tum and I left very happy. read more

We went last night for a birthday dinner and the food was even better than I had remembered. After being shrugged off at Houston's next door, we opted for sister restaurant Cafe R+D so everyone's respecful cravings (reuben, salad, burger, sushi, guacamole) could be quelled. After a short wait (during which time the hostess and the manager apologized repeatedly for not having a table ready for us quicker. . .bravo!), we were seated and ready to rock. We started off with a couple orders of the chilled queso, guacamole and chips. . .a personal favorite. The queso takes on a texture very similar to pimento cheese when it's cold. Add a couple drops of hot sauce and an extra salty chip then pair it with a beer for a little slice of heaven. The guacamole was chunky and fresh, none of that awful avocado cream that I've noticed springing up at lazier restaurants in the area (hand mash, folks, don't use a blender!). Then it was time for the tough choice. . .what to get for a main course. My gut screamed for the always tasty carnitas sandwich while my head screamed for a salad due to my sedentary life this week. Then the waiter threw the curveball of a veggie burger into the mix. A freshly made patty with beans, spices, nuts and more? Now what am I supposed to do? Fortunately, the sister got the veggie burger. Knowing I could count on her for a few bites, I went with the chicken chopped salad. . .something I've ordered a million times and can't get enough of. . .it's very similar to the Thai salad at Houston's. The food came and no one was disappointed. My salad was piled up on my plate in a delicious mountain of chicken, mango, cucumber, nuts, noodles, lettuce, cilantro and a couple other little gems. . .all covered in a creamy sweet sauce. . .awesome. After plowing through my salad in a matter of minutes it was time to set my sights on the other plates at the table. Like a stealthy assassin I put my scope on the gigantic pile of fries our tablemate was ignoring because he was wrist deep in a reuben the size of my head. There's something about those skinny fries that make them absolutely irresistible. They're like a bad one night stand, you want to ignore them because when you're done you'll feel bad. . .but they're right in front of you and they just appeal to your basic need for something that isn't good for you. Finally I turned my attention to the veggie burger. I think I found what I'm going to order from now on. . .it was moist like a real burger with tons of flavor. I know I picked up the taste of curry powder and I'm pretty sure there was some cinnamon in there as well. Definitley not what I expected, but I'm no hooked (much like a good one night stand?). Since we were celebrating a birthday, what kind of people would we be if we didn't order dessert. We told our waiter to bring us his favorite and 10 minutes later we had a hot fudge sundae the size of my head in front of us. Once we added the monstrous gravy boat filled with hot fudge it was a battle of the spoons. The vanilla ice cream, fresh whipped cream (super heavy!) and hot fudge had us all questioning if one order would be enough, but what really put it over the top for me was the extra salty nuts mixed in (perverts). They added a great contrast to the sugar and a crunchy texture. Definitely would suggest this to anyone not busting at the seams after their meal. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is the ridiculous concept of adding 18% gratuity to tables of 5 or more. Really? There are only 5 of us! I can't help but wonder if it's prevented small groups like ours from leaving a larger tip because it seems unnecessary to force a gratuity on a small table. Oh well, it won't keep me from coming back! read more

I'm rich, I'm too lazy to cook myself, and I can't be seen in a Chili's. This is why I come to R+D Kitchen. Or Houston's. Same difference. But seriously, this place is great. I love their burgers and sandwiches and deviled eggs. And drinks. And me. And their french fries. But even more seriously, I'm kind of a big deal, so that's why you see me here. read more

One of the best restaurants concepts in the Houston's franchise!!! The space is beautiful and the menu is wonderful. It has something for all taste. The Rubenesque sandwhich on the lunch menu is great and the carrot cake is to die for!!! Great service and really fast. I look forward to the next time I dine here! Yay! read more

I was visiting a friend from Dallas and she said the R&D was a place we just had to go! When we were there we ran into other friends bringing non-locals in to eat here. It is clearly a popular restaurant and a place where many would want to take friends to impress them! We ordered the cheeseburger and a sushi roll and split it. The portions were perfect and made from good quality ingredients so it was guilt free! Because the restaurant is so popular, we had about a 20 minute wait on a Monday night so if you are planning on going you might want to make a reservation. read more

R+D Kitchen - New American Near Me - Dallas, Texas

Came here full of bronchitis and was still impressed despite my inability to taste. Not a lot of selections on the menu and it was a bit pricy but....the execution of the food was pretty good. We really dug the atmosphere though. The only reason we stopped in was because the name had both of my wife and my first initials in it. We loved the feel of all the windows and natural wood. Service was extremely attentive and brunch is definitely the time to go. read more

Ok, I loved this. Picture a picture perfect Dallas evening... high 70s, slight breeze, sun slowly setting behind the buildings, you're perched at a table with your co-worker discussing the day over two glasses of red wine. I like my co-worker because she's not only a colleague but now a friend. We're lucky enough to travel together for work often and I really find that I enjoy travel because it allows me the opportunity to check out new cities and, more importantly, try all the amazing restaurants wherever I go. R+D hits the spot. The menu is random, to say the least. Sushi rolls, salads, pastas, meat loaf, and all sorts of stuff. The chef takes liberties on all the meals so you will not find anything boring. I started with the pine salad, which I found to be dressed perfectly despite some of the other reviewers, and for my main went with the chicken meatballs and spaghetti. I knew from the minute I saw it on the menu I could not pass it up, but an added bonus is that the dish contains 3 massive pieces of broccoli. I have been on a huge broccoli kick lately. Like, it makes no sense. If I could incorporate broccoli into every meal, I would. When I was little I hated broccoli, except for the florets, and even to this day I really don't care for the stems, but it's one of those veggies that I can whenever, wherever. Again, bonus. The chicken meatballs were soft and juicy and the spaghetti was the perfect portion that was not too heavy but not too light. I ate the whole thing. I was not even really that hungry. Do not skip this. If you skip it, you will be sad. My co-worker got the Asian chicken and noodle salad which was a hollowed out head of lettuce stuffed with chicken, noodles, cucumber and all sorts of goodies dressed in a peanut sauce. I had my eyes on that one, too, but it'll have to wait until my next trip. While I was able to enjoy the outdoor seating along with several bugs that found their way into my wine, the interior of this restaurant is super sleek, airy, and aesthetically pleasing; I only wish restaurants in Chicago were designed like this. The overall bill was reasonable and this place is impressive for a first date, a get together with friends, or for co-workers who need to unwind and semi-fine dine after a hard day of work. read more

Anyone that doesn't give this quality restaurant at least a 4* might be delusional. Never had a bad dish from this place - pure quality!

The one star is for the bar staff. I love this place and the food is to die for, unfortunately the bar staff always turns the experience for me. One of the locals sitting next to me commented on the lack of service I was receiving and said that all the bartenders are extremely biased and really only cater to you if they know you personally or they know you are a big tipper. That is a given for most places. I do tip well, but it always adds insult to injury when you tip well and still get poor service. This was my first time visiting this location as I used to frequent the Santa Monica location due to the fab food and drinks but stopped going due to the same exact treatment from bartenders there. I really don't understand it. I am very friendly, patient and am not a high maintenance demanding customer. Every time I always have the same experience... I sit at the bar, it takes a while to get approached, even when its slow and then you don't get checked on and you have to ask for everything including silverware. They act like everything is a chore. They also rub it in your face when they are attentive to someone sitting right next to you. Its weird. I know this place must hire staff that passes a certain personality test because these robots are annoying, entitled, and bad at customer service. This time I sat right near the beer draft well and sat there for a while and noone ever greeted me. I am not sensitive or bitchy so I grabbed a closeby menu and looked for a great wine. After 15 minutes, I caught the bartenders eye and told her that when she had a chance I'd like to order a few things. She gave a fake smirk, nodded, and walked away. A few minutes later she returned and just stood in front of me without saying a word and I proceeded to order. I asked for her recommendation on the sushi rolls and took her advice and got the seared tuna roll and a glass of vino. She never returned to check on me once the entire time I was there. My roll was brought out by a server and then I was engaged in conversation with a nice lady sitting next to me. I observed the bartender (Rachel) ask everyone else around me how their food was or if they needed another drink. She never asked me and that was a bit disturbing but I never said anything. After the lady sitting next to me left because her table was ready, I had to flag Rachel down to send the lady I was talking to a glass of wine over to her table. She had an attitude and took her time in getting the glass of wine over to her. I was still hungry and wanted to order something else possibly even to go since i didnt feel welcome there but after the treatment I was recieving I decided to close out. This place has a beautiful decor and ambiance, but the staff at the bar never smiles. I had just come from work and was dressed nicely so I really didn't understand this treatment as if I wasn't good enough to be there. The food is great, but I hate going somewhere where the staff acts like they are the popular kids in high school and if they don't know you or think you're cool, they ignore you. Get it together, R + D. This place needs to readjust the attitudes of their bar staff. This is not good PR for the company as a whole. Best of Luck out there... read more

'Houston's Lite' as I like to call it. I'm a firm believer that this restaurant was born after the owner of Houston's, now Hillstone, got sick of waiting for a table at his own restaurant. So on comes along R+D Kitchen. While I have nothing bad to say about R+D, I just never find myself wanting to rave about it either. The menu is very limited; just a few just decent entrees. They have some tasty sushi roll appetizers. Outside of the sushi rolls, there isn't really anything there that stands out to me. Case in point, if you really can't bear to wait a bit for a table at Hillstone, then this will do I guess. read more

I used to love this place, service, food, all amazing. Today me and my boyfriend tried to go in for a quick bite to eat and wouldn't even let us in the restaurant because he was wearing a tank top. We could not even eat outside. They were also very rude about it too. Not to mention the "attire" on their website says casual. If you have something that important that we will make your "restaurant" look so bad then at least have the courtesy to have a note at the door or be polite about it. Very disappointed. Not going back anytime soon. read more

This place is obviously still in the research and development phase. My girlfriend and I went here for girls night out. The atmosphere was very hip and LA and the wait staff was great. The menu was pretty lackluster though, there were only about 10 choices, sushi, salad, burgers and appetizers. We shared a burger, fries and deviled eggs for appetizers. My diet coke was the highlight of the meal. The fries were sliced so thin they tasted like those salad topper potato chips. The deviled eggs were 'aight and the burger was nothing special. Overall pretty disappointing. Judging from the crowd at Housten's across the street, we made the wrong choice. Step it up R + D! read more

From the home-made thousand island that goes particularly well with the hand-cut french fries..and one of the best pulled pork (carnitas) sandwiches I've ever devoured in my life.. everything is just drooling. Sure, everyone says that we have a very limited menu but remember, it's all about quality and not quantity& I believe that does not fail here at all. All the servers treat me with extremely high hospitality and service. They are always smiling and quick to attend to your needs. I also love the architect of this building, too..from the lily koi fish pond for our patio, to the wood and granite floors/ceilings, everything is beautiful..especially when the sun shines through our windows. I guess it gives me that Southern California feel in which where I was from. Anyways, most definitely try the Devil Eggs...nom nom nom :) I may be biased..but I'm honest. Hope this helps! Been here twice and the food has always been pretty impressive for the most part even though they are all over the map. Came for dinner once and had the filet. It was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth....very good. The server also paired a nice red wine that I cant remember which synced perfectly. Also took a client to lunch here and the service was equally good. Started with the sushi which was just ho-hum and then had their cheeseburger which was pretty good albeit a bit messy. Wasnt the best burger I've had but wasnt the worst either. Id say it was a 6 out of 10. Also, if youre boozing get a screw driver or grey hound....the hand squeeze their fruit! read more

I do R+D twice a week and it never disappoints. The service is Houston's caliber, the waiters are meticulous. Deviled eggs are always excellent, the goat cheese omelet, or the waffle topped with ham, cheese and egg is mouth watering. If you are a fan of good food, great atmosphere and beautiful architecture. R and D is the perfect last minute spot. Oh, the tuna sandwich is wonderful too. read more

Great food and service. Nice choices on the menu. Professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant waitress. Will be back very soon.

I think knowing that R+D and Houston's are one in the same benefits the patron's experience, because by definition Houston's is awesome, so the same awesomeness lends itself to R+D. I have been there twice and both times it has really exceeded my expectations. As me and my husband say, Houston's and R+D is where rich white people go to eat Chili's. It's basically the same idea, just kicked up a notch, done well, and significantly priced. Ok, the price points of these establishments are obviously overpriced, but you forgive that when you taste the food. The Bar: Cool spot where you can see all the fancy people coming and going. I had a Tanqueray 10 & tonic only because all the beers on tap were beers that I have never heard of (minus Shinerbock). Obviously, I am not a beer expert. The Food: We started out with the dip duo whichi s guac and some kind of pimento cheese spread w/ tortilla chips. It's pricey at like $8, and nothing too special about the guac, but the pimento cheese is definitely a nice departure from the traditional queso dip. This most recent trip, I tried the meatloaf $19 and the deviled eggs $3 which were both SPECTACULAR! Granted, I did pay almost $20 for a meatloaf, but it was really moist and delicious and partnered with herbed mashed potatoes and sauteed chard. My husband ordered the carnitas sandwich $15 which was like crack in my mouth with equally addicting shoestring fries $3. Something people must know about the fries at Houston's and R+D is that they are cut thinner than most places which means a greater fried-to-potato ratio and are sprinkled with some extra savory seasonings which make them impossible to stop eating. Definite must-eat! read more

Dazed and confused....To start, The food was tasty and service was good until we were suddenly cut off after 2 bottles of wine for 4 adults after appetizers and full meals. It was the oddest dining experience ever in my life. We called the manager to inquire why we couldn't purchase another bottle of wine and she just continued to support her server who had abruptly cut us off out of nowhere and disappeared...I honestly didn't even have a proper buzz on to warrant the cost of the Uber drive up and back from downtown. We have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant...ever in 43 years...I am still in shock at how we were treated by the server and manager tonight and shunned from the establishment after being polite and generous spenders...so confused...will never go back...the only reason I am giving a 1 is because the food was so good... read more

Pros: nice design, good chef, great sushi (although over-priced, as are most menu items), good desserts. Cons: the TINIEST water glasses - what a waste to have your customers always wanting water and your waiters having to refill constantly. Ok so ya the food was great yada yada but that's not why I am writing. The waiter aggravated me enough for me not to want to go back. I was drinking Absolute soda...I order absolute A because it's the cheapest and B because I prefer it over Grey Goose. My friend was drinking red wine. When the waiter asked if we wanted another round my friend was trying to remember what she was drinking so he could bring her another of the same glass. He was adamant that she didn't need to both remembering the name of it because they have it in the system. Then he brings our drinks and mine is a Grey Goose, which of course is more expensive. I mean, if he knows what we're drinking then bring me what I ordered the 1st time! I am just so sick of these bartenders that try to slip in the more expensive drink knowing full well nobody will complain about a few dollars here and there. Well guess what. Have been here a couple times before. Went last night around 7:30 pm and there was a 30 min wait. Two seats opened up at the bar and I grabbed them. Ordered a couple cocktails - one a screw driver that has fresh squeezed oranges - but they were not sweet so it was not a great drink. My wife ordered a cheese burger the Atkins way, no bun, with fixins on the side. It came to the table with bun and everything on it. So we had to wait for them to remake it.
