Solid steak and salmon, a fan of their private room for large groups! Friendly service, easy parking either out front or validated in the garage

Best service. Our anniversary and everyone was so kind. They gave us complimentary Champaign and we had four different people come congratulate us. We went early (5ish) and was very quiet and unhurried. Cool place

Ordered their pasta special tonight and a blood orange marg! It was yummy. Ambience is nice! Our waitress was very attentive, friendly, and she checked on us often to where my water was always full. This is something I love as a fast water drinker at restaurants! They usually have a hard time keeping up. Overall, a good spot!

New Year's Eve dinner was at Neighborhood services this year. It was great because it was regular dinning and not inflated for the holiday. All of our other favorites spots added a price fixe menu and prices were absurd. So sad. However, NS, knew how to do it right. The host and hostesses were very friendly and welcoming right from the get go. Beautiful restaurant inside and packed to the max that night. Our server was very kind and was very busy but did his best. We had several servers and managers come by to deliver food and drinks as well. It was a team effort. It was a wonderful evening. We had a delicious time. Happy New Year. Go check them out and enjoy! I failed to take a picture of the delicious meatballs we also order at each location we've visited.

Loveeeeee this place! The espresso martinis rule! Waiters are super friendly. The food is always on point! The filet all day y'all it's so goooood omg

You gotta start with the pimento cheese and guac dip!! The fried asparagus was surprisingly delicious and the burger was cooked to perfection. The burger sometimes comes out uncut so if that is something that is really important to you, I suggest you request to get it cut to save your server a trip. Service was a little lackluster but the restaurant ambiance and food were great. Almost forgot to mention, their drinks (especially the ranch water) were delicious. P.s. their restroom literally had everything from tampons, q tips, mouthwash, floss, and etc. honestly a slay for that

Came for a last minute work holiday dinner having never heard of this place before and boy was i pleasantly surprised. When you enter it's a large place with plenty of options for parties of varying sizes. They have a lot of options on the menu, but the menu isn't overly large..: thankfully. They have plenty of drink options but i recommend the old fashioned. Also the fish of the day was amazing paired with the brussel sprouts. And the service was great especially seeing as our party was 8 people no ones glass was empty.

Love this place! No idea why it doesn't have better reviews. Moved to the neighborhood 6mos ago and have sat at the bar every other week since. Bartenders are super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Always enjoy the ahi avocado crudo and their HUGE serving of fries. Pro tip: get the voodoo sauce to dip your fries in. We've also tried the meatloaf, shrimp & grits, and pork shank rustico. Would order all again! Love the vibes of this place and will continue to come back!

Came here for a girls night on New Years Eve and you're greeted right away by the host stand when you walk in. We were taken to our table immediately and our server was amazing! Unfortunately I do not remember her name but she knew the menu and specials like it was on the back of her hand. She recommended a lot to us and the food came out quick. My favorite were the meatballs and Mac and cheese. My main dish was the pasta special of the night which was basically pot roast on noodles, wasn't a huge fan. My friends had the veal, angry lobster and a fish special of the night and had no complaints. Menu has a lot of options so I'd come back and try something new.

We stumbled upon this restaurant. We were surprised to see that they are a sister restaurant to two of our favs National Anthem and Townhearth. Walked in without a reservation and got lucky with a seating right away. The place was packed. Our server Pete was awesome. The food and atmosphere were both . Family friendly. We will for sure visit again.

Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

Knowledgeable about the menu & great recommendations. Kev was a joy to have as our server. The food is amazing & love the ambiance of the restaurant. My only complaint...we came in early Saturday prior to Stars game. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked if we had a reservation. We did not, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked to wait. Waited maybe 5-10mins. No biggie, A lot of open tables were available for immediate sit down. Again that wasn't a big deal. I had asked for a booth & wanted to sit in front room. The hostess said no a problem. She handed us off to a younger hostess and she took us to a table. I told her I had requested a booth. In the front room only 3 tables were occupied. I pointed out the booth and she said that's for party of 6. However, we could have the 1/2 table/booth. Made absolutely no sense because that was for a party of 6 as well. I made this comment & she just stared at me without saying a word. I didn't want to seem difficult and took the table as she just walked away. Kev was confused as we were. No good communication skills. It was an awkward encounter. The restaurant wasn't busy at all & never was whole time there. Kev wasn't sure why she didn't move us a requested & was puzzled himself. However i apologized to him & explained I wasn't trying to be difficult, but prefer booth sitting and most times we will wait for one. We left at 1:45p and restaurant was no busier than when we arrived. Reservation/Booth or not! I guess saying all of this, your front staff need to have more people skills when dealing with your customers. They are the face and first point of contact. Again Kev was amazing & food was outstanding!

However, my experience this past Saturday wasn't quite up to the usual standard. Although my server, Kate, did her best and was attentive in taking my order, the overall service seemed a bit off. The kitchen appeared to be short-staffed, yet there were plenty of servers standing around instead of helping out as a team. I believe teamwork is crucial in creating a smooth dining experience. After waiting nearly 30 minutes for my appetizer, I had to send back the gator bites because they were served cold. With a bill of over $230 before tip, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect prompt, hot food. I tried to be understanding--having worked in the service industry myself--but there's definitely room for improvement on the coordination between staff and the bar. To their credit, once the food did arrive, everything was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious--exactly what keeps me coming back. One small disappointment was that, unlike with the table next to us, a manager never stopped by to apologize for the earlier issues at our table. Even with the hiccups, the food itself still deserves five stars. It's hard to give a place like Pappadeaux's anything less when the flavors are that good.

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen…read more Friday afternoon lunch was not the best experience. I guess the professional server is a dinosaur theses days. Apparently, Pappadeaux's has had to pull from a a bad pool of applicants. While my server was friendly, she was either overwhelmed or just plain forgetful. I ate a few gator bites that arrived with bread service (which was completely out of order) before I asked for a container to transfer them to so they would not be soggy from the pool of sauce they were in. When she finally resurfaced, it was too late. I had already transferred them to the bread plate to save them. She did apologize. The shrimp & crab cobb salad is a standard for me and the last two times I have been disappointed. They changed it to a wedge of iceberg lettuce. The wedge used to be what appeared was a 1/4 head of lettuce. Now it looks like they have increased the yield and now get 8 wedges from a single head of lettuce. For a $30 salad of nutritionally dense iceberg, this is ridiculous! The wedge looked more like a slice of lettuce. The shrimp were cut in half, and there was an excessive amount of grape tomatoes. The toppings far outweighed the lettuce. If you're not going to cut the lettuce up, then do not cut my shrimp either! Very disappointed! After asking the server for the bill and to-go containers, she disappeared again. I thought it was shift change. I had to ask a manager who was taking a complaint from the table next to me. They too, were upset about the level of service from the same server. I let the manager know as well, "at these price points the service is not up to standard". She apologized but never asked for details. What kind of hospitality manager responds this way??? Now Im super pissed! I thought the FOH mgmt was subpar at Richardson (which is specifically why I drove further to Oak Lawn), but Oak Lawn has them too. I am done w/Pappadeaux's. It costs too much to have to experience this type of service and and clueless mgmt. There are burger joints with better service.

The potato purée somehow managed to be both watery and bland, which feels like a choice. The scallops? Same story. Technically flawless sear, zero flavor. It's almost impressive how consistently everything coming off the fish station looked perfect and tasted like air. The pea risotto was aggressively one-note--just peas, no balance, no depth, none of that creamy, cohesive richness risotto is supposed to have. Having now tried her newer creations at Saint Valentine, we can safely say we'll definitely be back in the future for the drinks and vibe as well. Service was great throughout, with Paul and several other bartenders and servers casually conversing with and taking care of us the whole time we were there. It was super fun getting a glimpse of how the bar and kitchen work and also how enthusiastic everyone else also is about Misti's food. My husband and I started with a couple drinks that hit the spot: my Bryan St. Swizzle was colorful and refreshing, and my husband's Cheri Cheri Lady was smoky and smooth. We split three food items that most intrigued us, and they were all delicious. Our favorite was the Unicorn Dog, which came with a flavorful sausage with a delightful snap atop a bed of the best crispy rice we've had in a while. Spam Musubi was definitely also an elevated version of the classic, and the potato noods were basically a baked potato in noodle soup form, which I loved. We were recommended the Sour Patch to go with the Unicorn Dog but honestly the pickles weren't super necessary IMO; the dish was already wonderfully balanced with the mustard and onions. We ended the night with the cinnamon toast crunch dessert which was a lovely cap to the meal. The whipped milk was super unique, though my husband did say he would've preferred a slightly sweeter semifreddo, which would also mimic the temperature of cereal milk better. Something to consider for a future dessert maybe! We'll find ourselves downtown a little more now that the fall sports season is getting under way, so I can't wait to come back when we're in the area and try other things on the menu!
