Why should you come here? 1. All of the times I have gone, it has rarely been busy and I almost never wait in a line. 2. Turnaround time is quick. After ordering, I received my drink in minutes! 3. The pricing really can't be beat! I ordered milk tea with boba and coffee jelly that only came out to be $3. The store does look unkempt - not a place you want to stay at for very long, and is also fairly small. I think it would probably seat about 15 people at most? One of the better boba places around town, both in price and quality. Nothing beats their $1.15 boba milk tea. This chain is prominent around the world and in California, however, i found that this specific location in LA is the best one compared to the other ones in LA (the other location tend to be too watered down, or the boba is way too chewy). I like Quickly over lollicup, tea station for the following reasons: 1- taste is perfect. So since I am addicted to fries, I try them everywhere I go. Sounds super weird, BUT I love the fries here. Order them medium spicy. They normally drench it with seasoning it if you ask for "spicy" fries. They have amazingly priced drinks. My favorite place to get boba milk tea. The Tapioca is soft and tasty too, unlike some other inexpensive milk tea places, where the boba is hard, like it was left over from last night. This place is so dirt cheap I feel like I'm taking advantage of them! Tapioca milk tea is $1.10, while tapioca green milk tea is $1.60. They are friendly and churn out those drinks like no other! Their drinks are cheaper than the ones in my hometown, so I always go crazy when I come down to SoCal, sipping two drinks at the same time. I always go to the Quickly on Valley Blvd and I'd figure I would give this one a try, since they're the same. I was wrong. Their thai tea doesn't taste good and has a weird flavor to it. Also I tried their three color pudding milk tea....that was a let down. Apparently the types of drinks they have there are different from the one on Valley Blvd, since I wanted to order black sticky rice with coconut and they were confused on what I wanted. Overall, there are better places to get boba. Tap Ex is close by and its definitely worth going to rather than here. Only come here if you're really desperate for a quick boba run. read more

I LOVE Quickly! I have a few grievances (dusty cobweb-y corners, lack of seating) but they are buried somewhere beneath the behemoth bag of inexpensive milk teas I purchase whenever I'm in the area. I have only sampled a small portion of their menu thus far, but my recommendation is this: At $1.10 each, buy a couple milk tea w/ boba to drink that day (maybe one milk tea for each hand?), then get a bag of milk tea w/o boba to go and store in your fridge to drink throughout the next couple days. I had an interesting encounter yesterday..... I decided to be spontaneous yesterday and try a Taro Milk Tea, instead of my usual plain milk tea..... that was the worst choice order I've ever made at Quickly. The drink came out to be a neon pastel purple color...which had me scared for my life!!!! And when I took a sip of it, the taste was so artificial tasting! It cost $1.99...which isn't very pricey..but still. Not only was the color super fake...and taste super fake as well... the powder they used was not even well mixed...=( The funniest part is when the cashier asked if my drink was ok. I told him that it was too sweet..thinking that since he asked, he must have meant to offer to remake my drink or something~~~ but nope. I told him that the drink was way too sweet, and he told me that each customer has different preferences and to let him know to make it less sweet next time. (which is fine.) He apologized for the sweetness.... but didn't do anything about it, and just stared at me helplessly.... Honestly...if he wasn't going to do anything about it...why ask? What's the point of even asking a question if at the end of the day, he's not going to do anything about the customer's satisfactory. The stingy owner didn't want to cut open a new watermelon so he picked up the old watermelon rinds from the trash and started cutting off the white flesh part and adding a lot of sugar and water. Its kind of a shame about this place. I go there because its the cheapest place for boba, 1.75 for a large milk tea with boba. The milk tea is okay... although im sure its powdered milk tea not brewed. I typically order just milk tea as is, no boba, and no ice. Problem is they don't like that, they skim off about half an inch from the top which im okay with I guess. Today they skimmed an inch off and I had to say something, the people that work there don't speak english and probably think they can pull a fast one from a guai lo like me. I used to come here pretty regularly because it's close to my house. But, after the last experience, I will never come back to this location. ever. again. I typically just I order boba, which doesn't require much preparation. So, if it's not busy, which it rarely is, I can be in and out of there in minutes, that is, if I get service. Now, I expect rude service from Chinese supermarkets where employees are older and speak very little English. And, some of them don't understand that you actually HAVE to be friendly to customers if you're working as a cashier. It's call customer service. Anyway, I digress. I've never received such horrible service. I went in because I had a boba craving. The place is runned by a bunch of young looking Asian kids. The place was empty so first of, they took their time in acknowledging me and asking what I would like. The guy had attitude already. I got my drink, but when I took a sip it tasted "funny". It just didn't taste good, bottom line. Not only did the "kid" refuse to make me another, which would have been simple, he refused to give me a refund. Ironically, the only thing of the menu I don't like is their boba. I get the lychee slush (with lychee chunks in it that really make the drink) and fried tofu as a snack every time.
