Had to get 20 drinks for a party to pick up as soon as they open. I paid for it in advance. Owner was super nice and got it done right on time. He even call me to let me know when it'll be done. (My friends commented that he doesn't seem nice, but he is super nice when I chat with him in Chinese ) Drinks were yummy as usual. Great addition to my party!

Still the BEST popcorn chicken available! Juicy, spicy, fried to perfection not to mention those pieces of fried basil are delicious. I keep coming back just for the popcorn chicken. I don't understand why other places do not include fried basil which elevates the dish and why other places are unable to make it spicy when I asked for the maximum spice level. Only thing I wish for would be sweet and sour sauce with this delicacy. Place is a bit run down but I don't care much for aesthetics as long as what I'm going there for is above par. Parking can be tight if you arrive when the plaza is busy. Cash only.

Came here for a papaya milk and it was alright, but the guy at the register was rude and unhelpful. Shook his head when I asked for a regular size drink and told me "medium or large." Don't expect the best quality or service here, but it's a classic boba joint in the heart of San Gabriel. Cash only btw!

Cash only! And no bills over $20. The interior is quite old and they didn't have a lot of helpers in the front so it was one person making the drinks and taking your order. I ordered fries for $1.96 which is significantly cheaper than other boba shop (their fried tempura which is my second go to was also a lot cheaper at $2.99). The fries came out in around 5 minutes were just as good as any other boba shop and it was nice and warm! Definitely worth it for the price and will go back to try their drinks!

    Small front, been here forever.

I didn't want to write a review because I want to keep this particular Quickly a secret! It's a small mom & pop style boba shop even though they got stores around the world. It's not the best tasting milk tea or green tea but provide excellent value! I bought 3 large drinks for $6. Sometimes I don't care too much and want some basic green tea or milk tea and they give me what I want. The place has been almost the same for a decade or two. The food is basic Taiwanese minced meat rice and its delicious and cheap! I come here all the time, especially when I don't really know what I want. Don't come here when you're craving something really yummy. It almost feel like getting food fast but with rice and boba. I'm happy with the place.

Would give 3 and a half stars but I feel bad so I am rounding it. Decided to give this place a try since I was nearby! There's a sign that says 98 cents boba milk tea but that is NOT true. The boba milk tea is actually $1.50 for a small, and $2.05 for a large. I also got a Wintermelon Juice for 98 cents. There is also regular black iced tea for the same price. The boba is chewy and the milk tea is a bit flavorless(it may have been sitting for awhile or either they did not add enough sugar) but I mean you get what you pay for right! One of the best value Quicklys I have been to, from someone who has been to many Quicklys location, but this isn't one of the best quality ones.

Quicklys is like the original equivalent of a Starbucks. Its on "almost" every corner of a neighborhood near you. There are tons of different private ownership of these establishments. This one on San Gabriel Blvd is in my favor for the best one around. It's a bit beat up looking, yes from being around when orbit was the hit spot for Pokemon cards in 1999 and 2000. Not sure if it's been around longer. Anyways. This place holds very dear to me on terms of affordable milk tea and great food for an inexpensive price. 6.50 for a popcorn chicken rice combo with a free drink of black tea or I forgot the other (2018 current price). The food is tastier in my opinion compared to the Alhambra location near the wendys on Las tunas. Also they don't pack your Togo in a styrofoam container. The chicken is alot crispier and more seasoned. The pickled veggies is the winner with fried tofu and the rice with the minced pork and green beans, along with the tea egg. I've managed to come here budgeting for a filling meal for under 7 bucks and can't complain. It's always filling and VERY tasty but also inexpensive. Call ahead for orders or just show up. Thanks Quickly (San Gabriel) for always keeping it old school but fresh. FYI: cash only.

For being in a food hall in Glendora, this was a pretty good bowl of bbh. - it has rich umami broth though it could have stood for more vermicelli noodles. I was most surprised by the amount of beef tendon. In fact, I asked for a side of fish sauce to dip the tendon lol. On my second visit, I built my own phở bowl ($17.48). You get a choice of 3 meats, so I chose wagyu steak, wagyu eye round, and brisket. I thought the meat quality was great. The broth, on the other hand, was having an off night I think. It had a very strong star anise flavor and the broth could have use a little skimming. And Broth offers a variety of interesting phở variations that I'd like to try. I like that there are so many different Vietnamese dishes umbrella-ed under one establishment. I'll definitely be back.

Majordomo seems to be trapped in an identity crisis: it can't decide if it's an Asian restaurant, a wannabe fine-dining establishment, or just a social experiment to see how much people will pay for "creative" lettuce. The "Bing" bread was actually competent--great texture, solid flavor and dip. I suppose the kitchen peaked in the first five minutes. It was all downhill from there. The tapioca noodles were a tragedy. They lacked that signature, satisfying chew you'd expect from actual quality Asian noodles. They were less "authentic comfort food" and more "sad, limp regret." Then there was the Bok Choy, which arrived looking like it had been through a traumatic encounter with a Brussels sprout griller, doused in some bizarre, creamy-sweet sauce that I can only assume was an accident. The prime rib? A masterclass in audacity. It was priced like it had been massaged daily by a professional athlete, yet it tasted like something I could order at a chain steakhouse for a fraction of the cost. The mushroom rice was equally salty and underwhelming--I've had more excitement from a box of instant mix. Majordomo is a fascinating place if your goal is to spend a small fortune to leave feeling more confused than hungry. If you're looking for actual Asian food, keep driving. If you're looking to watch your credit card statement weep, you've found the spot.

Delightfully understated atmosphere with unique tiles throughout the decor, and we loved that we could hear each other talk and enjoy each other's company. Our server was amazing, she was so knowledgeable while being personable and extremely funny. I assume she's the cook's wife based on the other reviews - I arrived a little after my aunts, so I didn't get a full introduction since they had already secured a table and had ordered some drinks while looking over the menu. I had my eye on 3 different meat dishes - the Roasted Duck Breast, the New Zealand Lamb, and the Angus Beef Ribeye Steak - and my aunts also had each picked 1 of those, so we went family style, and it did not disappoint!! The chef knows how to cook each type of meat to perfection, and the searing pans are doing exactly what they need to be doing! The Roast Duck Breast was AMAZING as cooked to the recommended medium, with delicious crispy skin. The Angus Beef Ribeye Steak at medium rare was as tasty as it was gorgeous! And the New Zealand Lamb was PERFECTION, down to the bone. We also got the gourmet macaroni and cheese as an add-on side, since all the meals come with mashed potatoes and various veggies, and I was in heaven! As someone who used to work at the Disney Parks and frequented the steakhouses and other fine dining both here and in Orlando, Sage Bistro is giving Disney a run for its money when it comes to high-quality meat dishes! The prices reflect both the cut of the meats and the skill of preparation, with it averaging to about $50 each across the 3 of us, which is pretty reasonable for top-tier quality! The only thing I had to be careful about was that many of the dishes have mushrooms, and my throat gets itchy if I eat most mushrooms, so I had to avoid those dishes. During our meal, when I mentioned it to our server for future visits, she was great at noting which dishes could completely be modified to have no mushrooms while also being realistic about acknowledging the dishes that cannot be, which sadly includes the Braised Short Rib that sounds out of this world. But I can have the Beef Rib Soup, so I definitely want to try that next because I WILL BE BACK!!! They also offer takeaway, and were very generous in giving us each a coupon card to use for ordering through their website.
