We got some boba and snacks from this Quickly this past Saturday. I ordered online, which was pretty easy. I got the Rose Milk Tea with boba in chubby size while my boyfriend got the Almond Milk Tea w/ coffee jelly in super size. We also got a popcorn chicken and original flavor egg waffle. My Rose Milk Tea tasted off because there was a weird sour and a bit bitter taste to it that I did not like. I drank about less than half before I threw it away. My boyfriend finished his drink but he agrees that we liked the Quickly at Stonestown Mall more. The popcorn chicken was pretty tasty but very small pieces. I've had better elsewhere. The egg waffle was pretty yum. Services the store was pretty friendly and fast. The guy greeted me and put my items in a bag along with a couple forks and napkins and straws. I've been coming here for nearly 16 years now. This Quickly in Milpitas is a hit or miss experience each time. I've had good and bad experiences throughout the years. They seem to be surviving even after pandemic which killed the fitness gym next door and Rite Aid store shutdown on corner of the plaza few years ago. Credit cards accepted. There's always plenty of parking lot spaces now. Not much happens around here. There's a busy old laundromat in back. Cashier was nice and helpful. Nobody else was inside. Plenty of tables and chairs. I ordered a $8.99 Vietnamese sandwich combo (banh mi & jasmine milk tea with boba), $7.00 small coconut milk tea, and the $12.99 double cheeseburger with fries. Yes, items cost a bit more here than at the Eastridge Mall East San Jose location. Surprisingly, the little Banh Mi sandwich improved in texture and taste now. I still don't like their tea items/bitter for my tastebud, but coconut or taro is always much better. Average foods and beverages. Nothing fancy, but very convenient here. Prices on the walls may not be what they ring up at the front. They were under various ownerships in the past. Foods and beverages weren't as good tasting back then. Their bread buns have improved in looks/taste/texture now. I used to order bento boxes and fried snacks too, but it definitely wasn't the best I've had back then. Can't believe people gave this place bad reviews before, because my experience was amazing! Drinks are still just as good as ever, but the food really stood out I ordered the eggrolls and it had taro, LOVE! The popcorn chicken was fried perfectly, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The mini banh mi was the perfect size and packed with flavor, and the banh trang tron had the best sauce. The burger and fries tasted like true comfort food, and the takoyaki was crispy and flavorful. For drinks, I tried the "blue drink" that tastes just like cotton candy milk tea, a classic jasmine milk tea, and the cantaloupe slushy which was super refreshing. Quickly Milpitas definitely hits different now, and the $8.99 banh mi + milk tea combo makes it even better. Highly recommend checking it out! read more

Quickly is one of the OG of boba milk tea shops to come to Nor Cal. This location is in the Park Town Plaza. Parking is plentiful. I used to go to one location in SF and occasionally this location. The milk teas were inexpensive. Though, they were powdered drinks, but affordable and tasty. Stopped in today to pickup a couple of orders of their popcorn chicken (seasoned with salt & pepper). My little one wanted boba and this location was the only one within the area of where we were at that was able to fulfill the desire. However... $9 for a 16oz "regular" lychee green tea with 2 toppings is INSANE and a SCAM. - Two scoops of toppings wasn't even nearly "enough" compared to a scoop. I swear, the two "scoops" of toppings look like 1 tablespoon full. And that's not a lot of toppings for a 16oz drink because it wasn't even 1 inch fully covered with boba. So what exactly am I paying for? Sprinkles? - I asked for no ice, but still received ice. At this point, for them to scoop it out and remake it was unnecessary, especially if they have to break the seal and reseal it. - Asked for copy of receipt, the man declined to give it to me. At most, I am used to paying ~$7 for a basic tea with syrup and 2 toppings, and this is for a 20oz cup. I'm not sure why this franchise is a lot higher in price compared to other Quickly locations, or other boba stores, but to know that I can get the exact same thing at another location for much cheaper and more quantity is something I will take into consideration for next time. read more

I rarely stay and eat inside restaurants but this location was empty during my visit in the afternoon. Maybe because of vehicle traffic during Friday rush hour at 4:30 PM. This place is sooo nostalgic. I remember going here when I was in middle school and high school and the ambiance is still the same. Everything is also as I remembered with the exception of a few more items added to the menu. I have my go-to order and it never disappoints. The Jasmine milk tea here is GOAT. I can never find a boba shop that makes their Jasmine milk tea as good as here. It's not too sweet and has the perfect amount of creaminess whereas other places are either not creamy enough or too creamy tasting. Another must order is their popcorn chicken! The batter is so airy and compliments the chicken so well. If you're feeling extra hungry, I recommend getting the popcorn chicken bento box. The portion size is INSANE! A slept-on item that I ALWAYS get is their hamburger! It comes with fries and will definitely fill you up for a reasonable price. You know the burgers from fast food commercials? Well let me tell you... this burger looks like it could be straight out of one of those commercials. Honestly quickly used to be a solid place to come back to for quick cheap boba but now the prices are kinda insane for the quality you are getting. I ordered a regular (16oz) almond milk tea while my brother ordered the bubble milk tea. He added boba (which we would have thought his drink already had it but it didn't) and tell me why the total was $15.54. His drink was ok at best while my drink just tasted watered down with no almond or tea flavor at all. The Pandan Waffles were soggy and we bought 2 which costed almost $15 but they were so thin and tasted flavorless.

I used to come here back in the day after school, and would hang out with friends because of its affordable but delicious snacks and drinks for students. The service was always alright, it seemed like other students working there as well. Recently, I doordashed a honeydew drink, calamari, and popcorn chicken. But this time... their drink was bad! I didn't realize until I've drank 1/3 of the drink when I was drinking right at the spoiled parts of the drink that it was SOUR and BITTER. I didn't finish my drink, and didn't finish the remaining of my food as well. Fast forward in the morning, my stomach was aching and I had food poisoning that made me feel weak and very sick. (9/18/2025) They got rid of their original packaging to to-go cups. Cashier was an asian guy wearing a green shirt and glasses. I ordered an almond milk tea with boba and he asked me for what size and pointed to the display cup sizes. I said LARGE and paid almost $9 for it and when I got my drink, he gave it to me in a small regular cup and gaslit me saying I have to pay another dollar for a large when my receipt said (L) Large already because he was only mentioning the size of the boba. If he actually did he would actually account for the size of the drink as well and large/small tapioca pearls would be written on the receipt. read more

Are you like me one night just reminiscing on your childhood memories of Quicklys being the only boba shop in town and how'd you go there for all your snack and drink fixed? You walk in and nothing has changed since the early 2000s it's like walking into a museum frozen in time. I too wonder how they have survived all these years. However, I regret giving them a second chance. We ordered popcorn chicken and pandan waffle for a late night snack. The pandan waffle barely had any pandan in it and was soggy, undercooked. Their popcorn chicken isn't Taiwanese popcorn chicken, no spice and no basil on it. It's literally freeze frozen precooked popcorn chicken heated up that you'll find similar at your local Jack in the Box. The worst part? 3/4ths way of trying to finish what we paid $15 we got a horrible stomachache and ran home due to diarrhea. Avoid avoid avoid. read more

This Quickly stays open very late - either 10 PM or 12 AM depending on the day of the week. They are located in the Park Town Plaza, which is a bit quiet, so there is usually plenty of parking or at least when I stop by. I had remember the drinks here were not too bad and it was cheap, so I came here for a quick late night bite and boba run. Also, their bathroom is gross - it is like they never clean/mop it because there is always puddles of nasty water on the floor. I ordered the calamari and popcorn chicken with jasmine milk tea. The drink and food prices has gone up and doubled, while the quality and quantity has gone down. The calamari and popcorn was mostly batter, there was not much protein to it. My wife ordered dinner for us from this restaurant just the other day, so I don't know what it's like inside, but I do know that the entrees put me in mind of the Sahara desert. My wife ordered the pork and rice plate. The porkchop had the texture of cardboard but wasn't as juicy. She actually gave up on it after a couple of bites and went for leftovers. I had the banh mi, which was really small, but that was the only good thing about it. It was dry, not enough herbs, and so chewy. We also had some Boba tea, and that was ok. I came here to pick up popcorn chicken, so not a lot to base this review off of. I ordered the popcorn chicken online, and got there about 10 minutes before it was supposed to be ready. I decided to go in anyway to let them know that I'm here. It turned out my order was ready. The popcorn chicken was good and a good size portion, but quite a bit of small pieces that I think were only batter. I ate those too. My only feedback is that it would have been good to get the text that my order was ready since it was already sitting there when I went up to the counter. COVID-19 review: they're open for take out! Employees and stores were compliant with all COVID-19 regulations. There was a barrier between the cashier and customer. There was markings on the ground to ensure 6 feet social distancing. There was no indoor dining, but 3 tables for outdoor dining (they weren't very clean though). I wasn't comfortable sitting down until I wiped everything down myself. My friends got their Banh mi and tea combo for $5.99. They liked it because it was cheap and both tea and banh mi was decent enough. They said the banh mi was a little stale and wasn't toasted enough. We ordered the popcorn chicken and octopus heads. Both were crispy, but very bland and flavorless. It was not seasoned, so neither salty or spicy. We also got the egg puffs. They were okay, the perimeter of each puff was crispy, but the puff itself was not, it had almost a pound cake texture. Snacks were kind of expensive for the amount and quality. I'm a big fan of floral flavors like rose, but it can be a hit or miss in a lot of cases, but I was pretty happy with the turnout. I'll definitely try other flavors as well. The store was empty when I went here last night at around 7. Customer service here was great as the lady who served us was really helpful with answering all my questions. I came here craving churros and ended up ordering a strawberry milk tea too. We were in and out of the store within 10 minutes. The boba I ordered had a generous amount of tapioca pearls and they were perfectly chewy. The churro was even better and the filling on the inside was still warm after our drive home. However, I was walking by when I saw all the different types of food/desserts that they displayed on the store window, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered their smashed avocado and the fried octopus heads. I was quite disappointed when I got the order. The smashed avocado drink looks and taste like it's lacking avocado. Seems that they just added more crushed ice to mix with it. I didn't realize that it came with jelly and boba, but that was ok. The pearls were decent. I ordered it with less condense milk, so I can understand that it wouldn't be as good. The fried octopus was also disappointing because I wasn't expecting the portion size to be that small. The heads were covered in flour. It lacks the crunchiness and flavor that Tapioca Express has. Even though this is an established business that's probably been around for a while, there is still room for improvement. I do like that they offer many snack options. I normally don't write reviews but I just had to today. Decided to stop by a milk tea place near work during my break. I always get the usual milk tea and snack on the side. The jasmine milk tea tasted normal, nothing spectacular. However, the calamari ring I ordered is the reason I'm writing this review. Not only did it come out with only 5 pieces, it had such a terrible smell. I'm normally not picky or critical but then it tasted almost dead. I tried to eat as much as I can especially since it was like $6+ but when I got to the 3rd piece I gave up and just threw the rest in the trash. I felt sickened by the odor. So disappointing. It took a lot for me to come up to the cashier to tell him about the taste and odor. I hardly ever have to complain. He just told me he was sorry and that he doesn't know since he just started working there. Honestly hoping I would get a refund because I was sure that the calamari went bad. Anyways, customer service was great. The guy told me he was new and he was really nice. But please next time, don't serve food that have gone bad.
