We first called Quick Kill to solve an insect problem in our eaves. Some flying insect had gotten in and caused some of the flashing to fall. After a very frustrating experience with a different extermination company we called in Quick Kill. They were able to come out quickly and determine that the flying invaders were not honey bees. We were concerned that might be the case. We certainly want to preserve the bees but they are very costly to remove. Once determining that it was safe to exterminate they took care of the problem right away and we able to have the flashing fixed by our contractor. They asked if we had any other insect problems and like many Illinoisians we have ants. You know the kind. The tiny little ones that come in the summer and drive you mad. I truly think our house is built on an ant hill. Quick Kill has an annual contract where they come out quarterly to to protect the house against insects and rodents. (We have the occasional mouse too) They have now been out twice and we spent the summer pretty much ant free! I was hearing mice in the walls of our home and called Quick Kill. Scott came within a few days and found several spots where the mice might have been getting in. He sealed up those spots. And then he set out some mouse bait stations near where he thought the mice were getting in in the basement but checked first to ask about any pets we have to make sure they would be safe. Scott came back a week later and found some of the bait had been eaten and put fresh bait back in. We have been mouse-noise free ever since Scott came. I cannot recommend Quick Kill more highly. I was so impressed with how knowledgeable Scott was, how thorough he was, and how clear in his explanations. If I ever need an exterminator again, I will definitely be calling Quick Kill! read more

During this hot and wet summer, we suddenly had a mouse problem return. The technician was on time and did a thorough job of inspecting for pests and setting new bait and traps, as usual. The technicians have always been excellent and really go out of their way to resolve the issue and explain preventative measures. We have used Quick Kill for the last several years and they have always been prompt in sending someone out within 24 hours whenever we have seen new signs of mouse activity. But this time we were told that we would have to wait almost 2 weeks for someone to come out. Two weeks is a long time when you are dealing with mice, as they multiply rapidly. They can do a lot of damage in a short time. Having to wait so long for someone to come out was really unacceptable, especially since we pay an annual fee for regular service. What are we paying for if we have to wait longer than someone who isn't a regular customer? The company has also started asking if their technicians can just do outside only inspections during warmer weather. Something has changed with Quick Kill and it is no longer being managed well. read more

I was originally hesitant to utilize a pest control service because I'm generally a cheap skate, but I live in a house full of people that are a little scared of bugs. Finally I decided perhaps aerex was the issue and called quick kill instead. Had them come by since we moved into new house and started seeing some ants and spiders. The ants were rare sight initially so did not see any difference after they did the treatment but we still see notes and spiders in the house. Not sure the price we paid was useful for the cause. In their defense they did mention that they can't treat spiders but it was after they arrived for the treatment and we had no way out. I looked around at some places to handle a wasps nest and have to say that Mark's response time and his response gave me the feeling he was very knowledgable about wasps and insects. I booked him to come take a look and during his time here he looked around the house to make sure there wasn't any more nest. Thanks to Mark, he found a live wasps nest in our kids playhouse!! It was hidden so we wouldn't have seen it until one of the kids got stung. I had a mouse problem, indicated by droppings. Called Quick Kill. They came, placed bait traps in a number of areas of the house around where I first noticed the droppings. 3 days later, the droppings stopped completely, and haven't returned. Quick Kill came back a week later to assess the situation, noticed that large amounts of bait were eaten from many of the traps, indicating more than one mouse, and very probably death of the colony.
