Randomly saw 1-2 small mice running in the house so we had to find pest control. Unfortunately the one we used called "Andy Pest Control" doesn't cover this area so we called Lake Cook PC. The agent was polite and friendly, but their service was simply leaving several boxes attracting mouse and an email with a so called "inspection and suggestions". The email was not even sent after several phone calls. Their service has to be followed by finding more professional services to complete their suggestions which were all done by Andy I mentioned above. Have to say the value of $345 was not worth it. Living on a lake has brought us plenty of ants, spiders and mice (and more). In other words, there is plenty of pest control that needs to be done (and this is not the first exterminator we've hired for this house). Rudy has done a great job for us! Could not ask for a more top notch, professional service! I have a rental property in which the tenants were complaining of seeing ants. I called up Lake Cook Pest Control(at about 4:30 in the afternoon)explained the situation, and he was at the house promptly at 830 the next morning. Extremely courteous! He went through each step of what he'd be doing with both me and my tenant. The rates for coming to the house(twice, because initially when he came it was raining so he said he'd prefer to come back another day when it was dry to treat the exterior of the house)were absolutely the most fair and reasonable rates based on my research. Count me skeptical. We had for the first time in 26 years in our house an infestation of ants in the upstairs bathroom showers (2). Where were they coming from? Who knows! Rudy's team came out and did the treatment all around the house (but not either shower because they get used and water washes the stuff away). A couple days later we agreed to not use one of the showers for over a month, so Christian came back and sprayed around that shower. We were told it would take 6 weeks to see the results. It was a long wait. We kept seeing ants 4 weeks in, but less of them. Finally on the 5th week, I caulked up tiny cracks around the showers. By the 6th week, sure enough... no ants.
