Title: Overpriced, incomplete work, and no accountability Horrible service. Hired them to handle a mice issue at a youth center. They charged $1,000 to "set traps and clean the space." The "cleaning" was just basic vacuuming--nothing more. We have a vacuum. After they left, we found several areas they clearly missed. When I called to report the missed spots, they said they'd come back--but warned they'd charge extra if the areas were ones they "already cleaned." They had already billed an additional $700 for cleaning, yet never returned to fix their own missed work. Total ripoff. I also used them at my home and have now canceled that service too. Based on this experience: minimal effort, premium pricing, and zero accountability. Save your money and look elsewhere. read more

A possible nest of carpenter ants appeared near our roof. I made a request at night. Later that night I received a response to my query! Amazing!! When a cancellation isn't a cancellation. I requested a cancellation of service via text which they did not honor since I didn't reply to their request that I transfer it to a new home (I guess I wasn't clear enough when I said I was cancelling my contract). They then sent a crew a week later to service the property. So like all those other annoying digital subscription services they make it hard to cancel and then, adding to it, blame me (as the person I spoke with and in their text message) for not telling them multiple times that I cancelled. Yeah - you got it - they said it was my fault for not telling them a second time that I cancelled. Did the Walt Disney animators ever have mice infiltrate their homes? Likely not, or they'd never have drawn engaging, talking little rodents like Gus-Gus or Jacques. With the temps falling, you may find that little creatures are seeking warm burrows in which to nest: inside your home. They can squeeze through a crack or hole 1/4" or larger. You'll know when you have them. Tiny little black droppings like sesame seeds and an ammonia smell. You may hear them scratching in your walls or thundering around the floors. And if you see them, while cute in cartoons and movies, there's nothing endearing about finding them in your home. We have used Quick Kill to keep our house free of mouse (mice). We are on a quarterly schedule and they text us to make appointments. They wear shoe covers, check previous areas and bait, check the perimeter of the house, look for any troubling spots and of course come out as needed if varmints are found. read more

I hired Quick Kill back in August. They did send someone out promptly. They promise a 30 guarantee. After 60 days, I was still dealing with the issue. I asked for my $ back but they offered to send out a new technician instead. He came out the next day. And, he was super thorough. Pulled out my oven, fridge (there was a dead mouse under it) and looked under my dishwasher. He found a significant issue in the front of my house which is where he believed they were getting in. We scheduled a follow-up with Max. The day that he was to arrive, they sent a different tech. I explained to the tech that I didn't want him to come in because I requested Max since he was so thorough. They told me they were trying to be responsive and he was sick and they didn't know when he would be back. I said that they should have called before sending someone else. The manager said, "You know what, we are just going to give you your money back and take back all of the bait stations." Basically they fired me because I wanted the same tech. read more

Called Quick Kill to see if they could send someone today after I hadn't even heard back from another company. Luckily they had someone in the area and they were here within an hour of me calling! RJ and Casey were the technicians and we talked for about 10 minutes prior to their arrival and before they even got here, RJ knew it was flying squirrels we were dealing with. Both of them were super knowledgeable, answered the million questions I had and even though they couldn't solve the problem for me, they helped me figure out what I can do to solve the problem. A better price than the other company we talked to, but if we had had to trap animals it is a base price, plus payment per animal, which is the standard, so it's good to know that going in. The woman who initially took my call was super helpful and listened to me freak out about the squirrels getting in and was so quick to get someone over. So happy I called and learned even more about squirrels! read more

They were very flexible when I setup my appointment. They gave me a couple of programs to choose from which was quarterly or one time visit. I chose the one time visit just to see how they did. The technician came out and we showed him the two locations where the hornets were. He then went and sprayed both locations and told us to watch the nest the next couple of days and if they were still there to call the office and they would come back out. After a week we have not seen any hornets so I think they did a great job. The technician guessed there were between 300 and 500 hornets in the nest and I believe it since I used hornet spray and even a power washer but couldn't get rid of the nest. So it was definitely worth the price I paid to eliminate the hornets. Very easy company to work with. read more

I believed I had squirrel issues in my attic. I contacted my pest control service who misled me to believe they handled those issues. After a "home inspection" they presented me with a $12,000 dollar quote and informed me they did not handle squirrels. They provided me with another service that as it turns out was a subsidiary of there's. The "inspection" wasn't any better. Both these services indicated I had a squirrel issues. I contacted quick kill. They responded immediately. There tech came out within 24 hours. He determined I did not have a squirrel issue. He was a professional trapper that removes dozens of animals daily. Finally an honest professional assessment. It turned out to be mice. He provided me with a quick solution at minimal cost . Calling an exterminator is always something that is a bummer when you have to do it. There is no "good" reason you're calling an exterminator. The best you can hope for is a company that is affordable, with kind employees, and have the skills to get the job done. In our case we had mice. Max came out from Quick Kill Exterminating and we had pretty quick results. He found the areas where they were getting in and stuffed them with steel wool. He set up some bait stations too. Within a few days we started catching mice on glue traps because Max had herded them to one area. We had been told horror stories from friends that had spent thousands to get worse results. I have used Quick Kill for nearly 10 years. I have ants that show up in the spring without fail. . . like bad relatives. And, without fail, Quick Kill knocks them out. Typically within a day or two, the ants take the bait back to the nest and they are gone until the following spring. Between spring 2022 to spring 2024, our condo association had a representative moonlighting as a "property manager" who was the ABSOLUTE WORST. I felt so bad for Quick Kill having to get caught between myself and this guy, who went out of his way to specifically say that I was the only unit that was banned from getting exterminated. I even felt bad for the exterminator who was caught in the middle of this argument on Christmas week, standing in the hallway and not sure whether to come in my unit or not. I never held it against Quick Kill because they were just following the orders they were given. Even when that nightmare FINALLY left, the prior board chose another company that only did half the job that Quick Kill did (and insisted on not spraying certain areas that Quick Kill always sprays). I was still adamant about rehiring Quick Kill. To my absolute delight, with a new condo board, we have Quick Kill again. I was so happy to see that red shirt in front of my door to the point where I'd have been ecstatic for ANYBODY they brought. And just as I expected, the results are top-notch.
