Other neighbors have used different services who charge a LOT more and they weren't happy with the results. Best Pest will come back for a reduced rate within the next 3 months. I really think he found the entry point and I won't need him back, I'll update this if it continues to be an ongoing problem, but I think it is fixed, and I wish I would have called them sooner! One of the reasons I was skeptical at first was how many favorable reviews this business had.... I was not asked to review this business, I'm only doing it because it seems to have worked!!! My city house has a multitude of squirrels, constantly on rooftops, fences, trees and power lines in the alley. They frolic around and can been throughout the day as common pets. My attic had a squirrel that found its way through a recognizable opening at the eave between two roofs and had been there for several months on and off. Upon calling ABC Wildlife, the staff was quite helpful and scheduled someone for an inspection within a couple of days. Upon arrival, the field inspector was very accommodating, cordial, professional, knowledgeable of the situation and understood the remediation. However, when he proposed to locate a trap at the front of my house (50' away) from the attic opening source at the back of the house, I was confused. Remember, this neighborhood is FULL of squirrel and why so far, without the intent of amassing a "den" of those buggers at my property. The $185 inspection & trap setup seemed high but the $115 Indicator/temp cardboard closure was reasonably priced. Although the $450 temp patch repair w/wire mesh could certainly have been less. So now at $750, a hard decision was needed which revolved around the permanent fix. ABC quoted $2,900 and would credit the $450 temp done. It took my very persuasive partner to convince me to proceed and just get it done instead of having someone else manage this work which surely would be much less. Biting the bullet, ABC Wildlife two man crew, spent 7.5hrs at that roof eave to properly close the opening with siding and well anchored. After the fact, now the work is completed and $3,200 later, I hope never to deal with a similar problem ever again. ABC Wildlife are meticulous, detailed in their inspection reporting and provide a very comprehensive photographic assessment prior to completion. The work was thorough and professional, and while expensive, ABC Wildlife is recommended for homeowners who are financially prepared and willing to engage "critically" but constructively in the process.

We have ants and silverfish problem in our house…read more Emil did a great job with the customer service, very helpful, responsive, and gives a pretty good rundown what would be expected. The price is pretty reasonable, especially for 2 pests, and not overcharged as other companies. It comes with 2 visits, 2 weeks apart from the first. However, the on site experience was not as great as mentioned. Technician came, went to spraying right away, and it felt like he was in a rush. Did not really check what might be the cause of the infestation (would not be an easy thing to investigate, but we did not really see the effort to find the cause). We see a great reduced number of ants, but still see a few lingering around, not as concerned number as before, but we feeling better about the ants. Also, 2 weeks after the second treatment we keep seeing silverfish back even after the treatment and trap was applied (they mentioned the number might increase the following week/10 days after treatment due to them trying to leave the premises, or longer since the treatment is pet/child safe product and it might take a bit to work). After the 2 visits, extra visit/treatment will cost extra, even with some pests coming back. - Giving a 5 stars still since they gave me a full refund due to my dissatisfaction with the service on site. Treatment did not do as well to the my pests situation, but great customer priority, owning up to their words, and honesty overall.
