I contacted this company for extermination services for a building I manage. After receiving an initial message describing their service and guarantee, I was told they "don't service my area" because they "don't want their technicians to get carjacked." Their website clearly states they service the Chicago area. This type of statement is discriminatory, offensive, and unprofessional. It's disappointing to see a company make assumptions based on location rather than provide fair, respectful service. I was hesitant to call an exterminator about carpenter ants in our new house, but felt I had to do it when they started making their way into the kitchen. I decided to go with Shepp reading they were a family owned local business and no contract. Mark came by the house and he was super engaging and friendly. He took the time to explain the products that he used and and what he was spraying and why. He sprayed all the trees and areas around the home and the exterior. He also put down some bait gel in the kitchen. If we started seeing more ants he assured us to call and they would do a second treatment. I waited for weeks to make that call, but I didn't need to. The ants have been at bay. They are no longer in the house and I haven't seen any on the exterior or anywhere near the house yet. My family, unfortunately, got bed bugs and I do not wish that on my worst enemy! It was a headache trying to get rid of them. More so trying to find an honest company that will get rid of them for a reasonable price and guaranteed. Our house is a 2 apartment building with an attic and basement, and three bedroom one bath in both apartments and 2 bedroom one bath in the attic. So it is a big house with LOTS of bed bugs!!! We went to TERMINIX first and they charged us 700 and couldn't solve problem. We went to ORKIN and it was too expensive, over 1200. When we were about to loose hope I stumbled across this family own pest control company. I was able to talk tot he owner and tell him my frustration and he gave us a great DEAL!!!
