We have ants and silverfish problem in our house. Emil did a great job with the customer service, very helpful, responsive, and gives a pretty good rundown what would be expected. The price is pretty reasonable, especially for 2 pests, and not overcharged as other companies. It comes with 2 visits, 2 weeks apart from the first. However, the on site experience was not as great as mentioned. Technician came, went to spraying right away, and it felt like he was in a rush. Did not really check what might be the cause of the infestation (would not be an easy thing to investigate, but we did not really see the effort to find the cause). We see a great reduced number of ants, but still see a few lingering around, not as concerned number as before, but we feeling better about the ants. Also, 2 weeks after the second treatment we keep seeing silverfish back even after the treatment and trap was applied (they mentioned the number might increase the following week/10 days after treatment due to them trying to leave the premises, or longer since the treatment is pet/child safe product and it might take a bit to work). After the 2 visits, extra visit/treatment will cost extra, even with some pests coming back. - Giving a 5 stars still since they gave me a full refund due to my dissatisfaction with the service on site. Treatment did not do as well to the my pests situation, but great customer priority, owning up to their words, and honesty overall. read more

I feel lucky to have found Easy Way Pest Control. They came out right away to do an inspection and narrowed it down to its source so that we didn't have to treat the entire building. Two days later they came out and did the treatment. And they don't charge as much as other companies. They recommend that whoever is living in the unit (in our case it was a tenant) be present so they can be told what to expect and hear the important follow-up instructions. Our home was having some rodent issues due to inadequate rehab of our home that led to open spaces where our neighbor's rodent issues now became ours. After trying to deal with the issue on our own, we were left frustrated with not being able to get rid of them nor find the source of where they were getting in. I contact Easy Way Pest control after reading all the great reviews on yelp and google. Upon leaving a message I was immediately contacted and scheduled for an appointment which I appreciated. The technician Alex came out (on time) and immediately got to work. Alex was very thorough, checking every nook and cranny in and outside of our home. After spending over 2 hours going through everything, he gave us a very detailed explanation of where the rodents were coming from, where they were hiding/nesting and his plan of action on how to get rid of them. His plan was a list of remedies he was going to do before leaving (leaving poison traps, glue traps, covering rodent traveled spaces with copper wire). He also left us a few things we needed to do to insulate our house better from rodent access from the outside. Finally, after 1 month and an included follow-up visit from Alex, we are now completely rodent free!! I am so relieved and excited to finally have my house back. I originally found Easy Way on Yelp a couple years ago to treat and ant problem. This is the third year Ive used them. Ants were outside the perimeter of the house, inside the kitchen, near the garbage and cats food bowls. Easy way responded quickly, had an appointment scheduled for a couple days later. The tech showed up right on time. He was courteous and wore protective shoe coverings. They also asked for all the locations we had seen the ants and put a pet and child safe treatment in each location. They will schedule a follow up visit in a couple weeks to provide any additional treatment if needed and check on the ants again to make sure they didn't come back. I didn't get a reply on yelp right away so I called and got an immediate response and would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you Stephan and Emil. read more

I can only speak about this company's work on bedbugs. I will give them two stars because they did try. The sad reality of bedbugs is that it is one of the most stressful experiences you can go through. In addition to wanting to get rid of them "easily" you will want to get rid of the thoroughly and also calmly. The worst part of this company is how they communicate. They gave oral instructions on how to prepare for the treatment but nothing written down. It wasn't "easy" to know how to prepare. Getting rid of bedbugs is really not easy and it has to be done with teamwork - just hiring an exterminator is not enough. You will need to prepare your house by drying everything on high heat, throwing stuff out (in a safe way), moving your furniture etc etc. This company will not help you to prepare, leaving a lot of questions. However- the worst part is that they are rude to you. When we asked them questions about how to prepare, they responded and said we were bothering them. Then, they insisted on only doing one spray. It wasn't clear why they were comfortable only doing it once when most other companies do it multiple times in order to kill the bugs throughout their life cycles. When I called to ask them why this was their method, they refused to answer my question and just referred me to their yelp reviews. well - if you will notice - they do have positive reviews but none referring to their bed bug treatments. Its hard to share a phone call on yelp but the reality is I felt attacked. The guy I talked to on the phone said he was frustrated with us as customers but that he maintained good customer service anyway. His evidence of this was that he ~didn't~ hang up the phone on us when we were calling to ask him questions about how to prepare for the treatments. I have rarely been spoken to like that- especially not to someone getting paid hundreds of dollars to help during a very stressful experience. In addition, they did a shoddy job with their treatment. They provided mattress covers for most but not all of the beds and then they didn't fully zip them up. They told us that bed bugs can't travel on suitcases. In the end they did come back and do a second treatment but at that point we had lost all trust. read more

I can't say enough about the great job Easy Way did in our home. We were having issues with mice. We called and they sent Stefan. He treated the whole house and the yard as well. He was pleasant, polite and professional. He explained what he was doing and why, and was clearly very well informed about the work he does. There was no skimping and he covered the whole place. I was very impressed. But we live in and old Chicago bungalow. We had very low expectations for success because these houses are like a leaky buckets. What could anyone do really?
