One of our two-flat tenants called to report extensive clothing damage from moths. When our previous exterminator failed to call back, I found Crow's listing in Yelp. Robert came promptly and made an extremely thorough (free!) inspection of the whole building. He explained what he was seeing as he went, and then spent some time with the tenant to walk her through what she would need to do to prepare for the treatment. I had a quote in my email by the end of the day. I cannot speak highly enough of Robert and Crow Pest Control. Of course I wish I hadn't needed their services, but with the seemingly unstoppable bedbug problem plaguing our city, I guess it was just my time. I remember finding a bug around 5am Saturday morning, and I contacted a handful of pest control companies through Yelp a few hours later. Robert responded almost immediately saying he was in the neighborhood adjacent to mine and that he could come by at 11am that day. He came over that day and explained everything incredibly thoroughly. He did a thorough inspection and didn't find anything, but apparently that's common in the early stages of an infestation. I had saved the bug in a tupperware and he took a look at it and let me know that it was definitely a bed bug. I was pretty upset about this, but he was calm and collected and explained exactly what we would have to do in a very reassuring way - he made it seem manageable, which calmed me down a lot. And he was right - it WAS manageable. It sucked a lot, but with his help we were able to take care of everything without too much hassle. Robert was extremely prompt and accommodating. He was also very thorough. He sprayed twice, ten days apart, in order to be totally certain that he had eliminated the problem entirely. He also guaranteed for a period of time (I think it was either one month or three months, I can't quite remember) that they would not come back (if they did he would treat them again). Well, safe to say they weren't a problem after that! I've recommended Robert to my friends who have needed pest control services and will continue to do so. Pest control is one of the services you cross your fingers, and hope to never need but when you do, it helps to have places like Crow a phone call, or in this case, a yelp message away. I was closing some walls in my house after putting in new drywall, and I thought now would be a good time to pest proof the place before they get closed for good. I ended up using the yelp request a quote feature to request quotes from numerous places on a Tuesday night. By the morning, Crow responded. I never had a pest problem but I wanted the placed pest proofed as added piece of mind. Crow was able to get back to me very quickly. The owner messaged me and I explained the situation to him. He was able to come out the very next day for an inspection when other places were giving me dates that were almost a week away. The owner offered to do a free inspection as well. After the inspection he called me and was very honest. He informed me that although he did find some holes in some areas of the house that need to be patched up, that he saw no evidence of rodents and that the work was simple enough to where I could do it on my own if I was looking to save money. He sent me an email with pictures of all the holes he found and where they were in case I wanted to do the work myself. The owner ended up charging me a reasonable price for his services and since he was already on the property, I had him do the work. Afterwards, he called to let me know the work was done, what had been done, and gave me tips and steps to take on how to further ensure pest do not become a problem in the future. Not only did he inspect the house, he walked around the front deck, the back yard, and inspected my deck which is not attached to the house either. He was very professional and very reasonable. I contacted Robert when I saw ants on my enclosed back porch. Due to covid and my having two immunosuppressed family members I was afraid to have anyone enter my home. Robert responded quickly to my request for service and was very respectful of my concerns about my family members. I just made my second appointment with Robert before the spring season, and realized I never wrote a review last summer. Robert (Crow Pest) is incredible. I literally can't say better things about them. I live in a condo on Sheridan that overlooks the lake. In July, we started getting spiders on our balcony. We sprayed some off the shelf repellent, which didn't do much. One Saturday morning we woke up to find the entire balcony infested. Webs everywhere, spiders dangling from the ceiling, there had to be hundreds. It appeared a nest hatched overnight. I had guests coming over the next day and needed to get this taken care of. At the time, I went on thumbtack to look for providers. Robert instantly responded that he was available and the price -- which was very affordable. He was at our condo later that afternoon. He not only sprayed, but killed the spiders/nests that were out there and cleaned the entire balcony. By the time he left, the remaining spiders were dead (or dying), and the majority had been swept up. For the rest of the summer (and winter), we have not seen a single spider since.
