Bruised arm from her inserting and reinserting needle several times and being unsuccessful. I asked her to use my other arm, she ignored me.

The lady that drew my blood was very hostile. I informed her that normally one cannot draw blood from my left arm because the veins are too small. It is best that she withdraw it from my right arm instead. She informed me that the left side was most convenient for her because it was closer to her station and she knew what she was looking for. I told her the right arm is best and is the side traditionally used by all professionals. I also told her it was best to withdraw from my right side because I did not want her to have to stick me twice because I am afraid of needles. In response, she chose the largest needle she could find and proceeded to try to draw blood from my left arm. Since she was unsuccessful, she kept inserting and reinserting the needle several times until I said "Oh my God, when are you going to stop". She withdrew the needle and asked if I had drank water. I said yes, she said I must not have drank enough water. At no time did she apologize for her recklessness, rudeness and unprofessionalism. She then tried my right arm just like I told her at the inset and was successful. I did not appreciate being treated as less than an animal. My left arm is extremely bruised from her abuse. Regardless of where I go, I expect to be treated with humanity and professionalism. In this instance, my voice was ignored and my pain was dismissed. Rather than accepting responsibility for her reckless behavior and actions, she placed the blame on me for "not drinking enough water". I believe humanity and professionalism is included in the price the consumer pays and your company failed to meet that standard. Therefore I would NOT recommend this location.

I'm a fan of Labcorp. Anytime I get lab work done as requested by my doctor, I find a Labcorps…read morefacility where I can do it. They have a lot of locations. This one on Buckingham on the edge of Garland and Richardson is easily accessible. While you can just show up as a walk-in, I recommend you go online and setup an appointment. The online portal will show you all of the Labcorp locations on a map with the exact distance from you so that you can make a choice. You can also see the schedule of availability. If the location you want is booked, try a different location and you will probably get in at a time you want. Most locations have a kiosk where you can check-in as soon as you arrive. This location is still working on getting the system up and running. I prefer the kiosk for signing in because it doesn't require me to interact with anyone. You can scan your insurance card and driver's license in the kiosk too which means you don't have to worry about busy reception staff forgetting to return it to you. Appointments may take some extra time if you have paperwork to complete or if your doctor's orders haven't been received by the facility. The staff there are very helpful in getting things in order. They have helped me with the fax number and email for getting orders sent to them. Price is usually dictated by the type of lab work you are completing and your insurance coverage. The staff will have you sign a paper with your potential financial responsibility if they are unsure whether or not your insurance will cover the fees. This is a good thing because if the amount is exorbitant, you can deny paying the amount and receiving service. My favorite part about Labcorp is being able to get my test results in record time. I can view them online right away whereas it takes much longer before my doctor posts the results on my doctor's portal. In addition, Labcorp will display previous and current lab numbers so that you can see if there has been a change since the last time. The results are easy to read. It clearly shows the normal range and where you fall. You have to talk to your doctor about the meaning of the numbers and results, but if you have previously had conversations about the numbers with your doctor, you will already have an understanding of the numbers.

Don't bother, just got to touchstone or literally anywhere else. The staff is grossly and…read morenegligently incompetent and rude. 1. I realized I lived closer to richardson location than Dallas, so I called the dallas location where 2 separate doctors had sent orders for 2 separate mri. The dallas people said no problem we confirm both orders have come in and we'll just make it to where you can schedule them at richardson. 2. I call the richardson location they CONFIRM both orders but say there is a problem and they need my doc to send a new fax, so I call my doctor and she sends the order again. I call back and CONFIRM that both MRI are going to be done the same appointment. 3. An hour before my appointment they tell me they're running late and delay my appointment by 30 minutes. 4. When I get there they make me wait 40 minutes AND THEN tell me they only have one order. I tell them that their receptionist had confirmed both orders and the same appointment for both. They do a fake apology of the sorry not sorry sounds like your problem not ours. So I only do the one MRI. The tech was rude and combative and the manager was a spineless mgmt type. 5. To schedule the other one they tell me no location has ever had a second order and that I made a mistake or the doc made a mistake. I call the doctor and they explain with a confirmation number from gateway that the fax had been sent received and confirmed. The receptionist says it was sent to the wrong number which the doctor said to them was given to her by gateway themselves. 6. After I leave they find the order, call me to schedule. They tell me they cant even do that kind of mri in the first place which im pretty sure is a lie because they dont want to see me and acknowledge their mistake given that when I originally scheduled they named both orders and confirmed all the details at that location. 7. They tell me that a survey will follow after they schedule and to stay on the line to give my thoughts and then they immediately just hang up. All around incompetent, lazy, late, and incapable of accountability. As someone with chronic pain and too many doctors this place is more a barrier to health than a credible business. Wasted my time which i dont have enough of and my peace of mind which im trying to get back. Wholly unsatisfactory and the staff should be embarrassed. I will be letting all of my doctors know. Ive never had problems with touchstone and will refuse to go to gateway again. Ridiculous.
