DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A BROKEN BONE!!! My husband and son came here when my son fell off his bike and broke his arm. After taking x-rays and confirming the break, they told them to go immediately to the ER, which they did. Upon getting to the ER, and after waiting for 5 hours, the ER dr. was shocked that Make you Well Urgent Care hadn't splinted my sons arm. His break was fairly bad and ended up requiring surgery with an orthopedic doctor a few days later. After seeing an ER dr, they were told all they could do was splint it and give him pain meds and we were to make an appt with the orthopedic dr. Both of these 2 things could've, and should've, been done at Make You Well Urgent Care. There was no need for them to wait in the ER for 5 hours just to be treated with what, we had expected, the urgent care to do. read more

I love leaving good reviews when good care is received! First of all, I scheduled this visit as a sick visit because my ears were throbbing all night, I'm new to this office and wasn't too sure, but when I walked in, the atmosphere was very friendly and well taken care of. They gave me an iPad to check in and do forms, which I love because my hands hurt too and to write most of the time. The process was very straightforward and easy to do! The gentleman upfront was very nice even when they got busy he was still attentive, the nurse in the back was very sweet and friendly, and the doctor was as well. Dr.Livengood explained everything very well and offered a steroid injection to help. Overall, I had a very good experience, not to mention I was seen in a very timely matter and didn't wait 3 hours to be seen! Went in originally for bloodwork and a consultation. Staff was exceptionally professional and the environment was very warm...almost spa like. I used to LOVE this place. Beyond quick and the doctors were great!! There was an ownership change over a year ago and I had read negative reviews on FB group page since the ownership change. Regardless, I wanted to try them due to convince mostly. I saw reviews where people complained that it was now only staffed by Physician Assistants now. (IMO, it's one thing to see your regular doctors PA, knowing that your doctor has confidence in them.) I have called twice when needing to visit urgent care and neither time did they have an actual MD working, only a PA. I'm downgrading my stars for that reason. read more

My experience with the front desk was swift and pleasant, the male nurse was very professional and caring. I took my daughter in with what we thought was bronchitis. After testing positive for COVID, Dr. Livengood and her staff were very comforting and armed is with all of the information we needed (including registration information for the antibody injection). In addition, after determining my daughter was dehydrated, they ran an IV of fluids and vitamins and insured that she was stable before we left. This place has turned into the biggest disaster I've ever seen in urgent care. I'm in the healthcare industry myself I saw so many errors occurr during a visit that went on with my family. they had a PA on duty when the sign on the front of the door clearly says all providers are board-certified ER physicians, however there is not one physician in the building nor was anyone in faster care board certified in emergency room trauma situations! The Person that signed our prescriptions was named lavania the nurse Allison was making the medical Decisions. PA lavania stated since my son and I were sick she was going to give my husband a shot as well. The shot was a steroid called decahedron which is the poor mans Version of souli Medrol injections. Meanwhile my husband takes Met Forman and I take 23 medications, the PA surely did not clearly look at our medication list all she was concerned about was giving shots and getting us out of there however it seemed that Allison was taking control I've never been to a practice where a provider does not examine the patient prior to giving an order for medication. Lavania didn't even check his heart rate at that time look down his throat check his ear nothing. I had to tell her what type of prescription to provide for my son she (Lavania) then began to tell me that there are alternatives to superax which is chewable antibiotic- I was shocked to hear this information but I was open eared. Needless to say, of course the information was in accurate. We got to the pharmacy to fill the prescription and there was an issue there because the PA wrote it and it needed an override from the physician since it's a non formulary Medication. there is no generic for the medication and this is the only medication my son is able to take given the fact that he is unable to take liquid medication. my husband called the urgent care back several times which resulted in ultimately him being hung up on and them calling in another medication without our! approval I called today Monday and spoke with the office manager who didn't know her head from her ass and actually told me she had no clinical experience so she had no idea what she was talking about. so now I was educating her. I explained to her the situation the lack of professionalism and the fact that I was reporting the staff to the medical board of Texas and then I wanted a call from the supervising physician, which I still have yet to receive and I wanted this medication situation cleared up that was at 10 AM this morning by 130 this afternoon she never called me back. I decided to personally walk back into the office- I heard them saying in the back as I walked in there she comes. I walked in continuing to advocate for my son and myself the office manager who looked rather disheveled and unprofessional came out and told me that they had called in the medication to the Walgreens at Renner and Norstar and they had five pills waiting for me and they had to order five more pills which he be ready for tomorrow and she gave me a coupon which would make the medication $35 and explained that they could not fill out that form because of company policy as well as using the poor mans steroid. I said d that I still wanted a call from the managing I physician -which I've still yet to receive and that I would go to Walgreens promptly to get the prescription. I drove to Walgreens the pharmacist that knows me very well said they checked their files their phones their voicemails of course there is no medication waiting Nor was there a call from Faster care. The lovely pharmacy tech at the Renner Walgreens suggested I try the Murphy location-so I drove to the Murphy location and seem situation they actually checked five other Walgreens none of which received a call or knew anything about this medication that was supposedly waiting for my son after several trips to several different Walgreens they gave me one loaner pill and said I have to come back tomorrow to get the rest of his prescription. I can't express enough to you what a shit show Faster care has turned into. I feel so sad for the reputation that the three previous owners built over the past 12 years to have it come to this horrible pill pushing underqualified doc in the box of a place. I will never ever be returning and have told everyone I know and I will make it my mission to spread the word about what an awful place this is. By the way I also demanded my co-pays be refunded given the adverse reaction both myself and my husband had from the Decadron shot which they said that they did refund this morning however I still don't see that my account either. This place is owned by a corporation called Maverick Health this is just one of the doc in the boxes they operate. save yourself the trip save yourself the visit go anywhere else but there!! read more

This has actually been the WORST experience ever with a "medical professional." I originally went in 6 days ago experiencing classic strep symptoms such as a sore throat with white patches, night sweats, severe chills, extreme trouble swallowing, and swollen lymph nodes. Dr. Khan, despite his lack of bedside manner, was at least professional and diagnosed me quickly and treated me with antibiotics. I also got a PCR COVID test just to be safe, which was negative. I was then left in the exam room with no instructions on how to check out. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed that they were just stressed because of the pandemic. After struggling with these symptoms for 6 days and 5 nights, I decided to go back because I had developed multiple canker sores which were greatly contributing to my pain. I was seen today by CHRISTOPHER STANFIELD N.P. and was bewildered by the lack of professionalism and hygiene. I had given the nurse a list of my symptoms, but it was obvious Mr. Stanfield did not read my chart at all because he came in and asked me "What seems to be the problem?" After explaining my symptoms again, he asked me,"Have you been in contact with anyone with COVID or experiencing COVID symptoms?" To which I replied, "I got a PCR test here last week." He then replied, "Really?... If you're already on antibiotics, what more do you want me to do?" I told him I would like to be treated for the canker sores that had developed and asked that he look at my throat to distinguish a canker sore from strep because it had developed deep in my throat. Right before he goes to examine my throat HE LIFTED HIS MASK AND SCRATCHED HIS NOSE WITH HIS BARE HANDS and then attempted to continue the exam. I, being immunocompromised, asked him to "please put hand sanitizer on your hands before you touch me." He tried to excuse himself by saying "I put someone before I entered." Then, he reluctantly put some more on and proceeded to look at my throat. I, like any other person, began to say "ahhhhhh" when he snarkily told me "Don't breathe on me." I couldn't believe a medical professional would say such a thing. He finally prescribed me some magic mouthwash and then stormed out the room, slamming the door behind him! I would not advise anyone to visit this place. I am a lifetime local and heard good reviews, but after looking at Google and Yelp it seems like Fastercare has lost credibility and is not what it used to be under this new management. If you do decide to go here and Christopher Stanfield comes in to evaluate you, I would run away as fast as you can. read more

Looks like there has been some type of management change in the past year. I have been here 5 times over the last few years prior and the service provided had always been prompt and the mD's have always treated me like gold! Front receptionist was okay- young lady focused on studying (still in school). I was met by two assistants (one that was obviously new), who checked my blood pressure, and temp very quickly and went through my symptoms (sore throat, congestion, and some back inflammation that sporadically bothers me). One of the them recommended swabbing my throat for strep (additional charge since I am paying out of pocket). When Carolyn Anderson came in (being shadowed), she checked my throat, sinuses, breathing, and proceeded to try and out of the room after spending less than 2 minutes with me. The previous doctors I had visited with (before the new management), spent more time and really wanted to make sure all my issues were taken care of. I had to speak up while Carolyn was leaving and ask her if there was anything she could do to help me with my back pain/inflammation! She did not even let me finish my backstory of how/what/when the inflammation came from before SHE RECOMMENDED IBUPROFEN. HAHA! Why would I come pay $100. Oops I meant $115 since there was an upcharge to swab for strep! Anyways. Why would I want to come pay $115 out of pocket for someone to recommend ibuprofen? Obviously it does not help or I would not bring up my back inflammation/pain. The previous doctors/management would give me naproxen to help me sleep a bit better/get through my troubles where as Carolyn came back with antibiotics and wanted to have one of her assistants (Bill), "call to see how much it would be to send your swab off to be cultured" for strep because I had what she considered "all the symptoms." I declined for that option because it sounds like the new management is just trying to run up your charges if you are paying out of pocket as opposed to taking care of your actual needs! I will not be coming back here again and I HIGHLY advise against anyone who is sick/needs care to visit here either. Oh keep in mind I love getting in and out FAST. That's why I have been coming here for years. But being the ONLY patient in an empty office and Carolyn spending only ~3 minutes with me (one minute trying to sell me on something I did not need), is just plain unacceptable and should be frowned upon. read more

This place really depends on who the ER doc is for the day. The service is quick getting you in and out, but depending on who you get, you will get different answer and diagnosis from the docs. So I would just call in advance and see who is the doc of the day... and go from there. read more

FasterCare is our go to for urgent care. Each time I have taken someone from my family, we have received fast, professional care and been treated extremely well by all staff members. Our most recent visit required x-rays. How wonderful to get them done and read right there and not have to wait at an ER. I was then emailed the images quickly so that we could go see an orthopedic doctor for a cast. What a wonderful resource to have so close to us. read more

For a place who advertises "Our motto here at Fastercare is to provide exceptional quality healthcare services to our patients in a Faster, Friendlier, Better environment" they sure missed the ball on this one. I know these types of places have a pretty quick response time, since they don't operate in a hospital and aren't for extremely traumatic emergencies... My complaint is about one particular dr. (didn't catch his name but was of indian descent, pardon my use of race) and his horrible manners. The quality of his work was subpar to Dr.Ho who also works here, and was absolutely wonderful. I don't care if you just opened, during open business hours you should be doing just that, Business. Not dilly dallying around the office, chit chatting, or whatever he was doing but working on patients that are at the office. That's what you're paid to do. No bedside manner whatsoever and just made it an all around unpleasant experience (not that these are supposed to be pleasant). I'd definitely avoid this place unless Dr. Ho is the doctor who is on site. Hate giving this place a one star when the past experience was great and the most recent on not so great. There are plenty of other fast care er places scattered around. read more

I've gone here way too many times and I love the fact that they are always so fast! The copay for me for $75 with Aetna though which is kinda high. They are a great for a visit after work of you need to go somewhere. I think it is definitely better then places like Care now! The nurses and doctors and very nice here! I came into this facility to get an IV fluid line due to severe dehydration and when I arrived i was told they do not take my insurance plan and that for everything my treatment (that was supposed to be just 1 IV bag) was going to be $375 up front. I myself work with medical insurance full time for my job so when I asked a couple more insurance related questions I was told I could be given a "discount." Hm. Seems kinda fishy. When I was finally taken to my room, the nurse, PA, provider?? I dont even know who they were came into the room and briefly just asked what medications i was on and if i had any allergies. They brought the IV in the room, tried to start the line, and once the line was set I was told that they got the placement wrong and would have to do it again. I got upset at this point and the staff ended up telling me they can't do anything else for me and that I needed to go to an actual emergency room. Nothing else said. I am highly highly disappointed with my experience at this poor excuse of an "urgent care" center. read more

This was my first visit to this urgent care facility. I fell down a ladder and my foot was in pain. I didn't do anything with it for the next couple of days. Since the pain did not go away, I decided to go to Fastercare. The Doctor, Dr. Da Ouyang X-rayed my foot & determined I had a crack in a bone. They were very competent and installed a walking boot on my foot. This completely cured me. Not only was my experience with them excellent but they were the lowest costing facility around my area. Spent thousands of dollars here over the years!! Khanh, the clinic manager, threw me under the bus and into collections over a $50 charge knowing we would come back and always pay up? We have kids in sports and have good insurance too. Suddenly brought kiddo in for a sinus infection and 102 temp. wanted $150 up front and still charge my insurance too! I said nope, and have since taken my thousands of dollars and future business to Pediatric After Hours off Bush tollroad, and Baylor. In the past this clinic has been great, however they have a nurse there named Erin who was so rude and condescending to my daughter when I brought her in today. She became downright hateful and made several comments that were inappropriate. She did not show an ounce of care or compassion for her patient. She was so rude the staff refunded our money and apologized for her behavior. Luckily we went down the street to Prima Care where she was treated with the care and compassion one would expect from medical professionals. The office staff was very courteous and efficient - it is good to know that they do not accept Medicare - you have to pay up front. Dr. Ho ordered an x-ray and lanced the finger. Other members of my family have used Fastercare in the past but I was "unfortunate" to need them recently. I like that there is practically no wait and the service is fast. Is it a full ER? No, but how many times have you waited at a big hospital ER for literally HOURS? Not to mention the bill afterwards. If you're regular doctor's office is closed (or can't get an appointment for a few days) then I would highly recommend giving this place a try. read more
