This place does not have that and is the reason we left before being seen this morning. Wonderful care and friendly staff! My daughter was in need of an X-ray after a basketball injury, but we were visiting from out of town and weren't familiar with the area or where to go. We checked Yelp and decided to visit this location (which was 15mins away from where we were) based on the 5 star reviews alone-- I'm so glad we did! We were greeted upon entry, electronically filled out the new patient info, then called back right away. The doctor and nurses were very warm and knowledgeable; taking the time to thoroughly explain, diagnose, and provide a treatment plan for my teenaged athlete. I was very impressed by the level of care, cleanliness and customer service provided by this clinic. I hope to not have to visit them again for anything serious, but I'm glad to know that this wonderful clinic exists should I ever need urgent care in the future. The prover, Russell & the MA who saw me were great. It was a quick experience and I would return. But the front desk staff (one woman) working at the time, needs a career change. She was lodged up in the corner upon arrival where I could barely even see her, didn't greet me so I spoke to her first. She then asked if I had an appointment. I said I believe so but I was driving so I couldn't finish registration. "Uhhhh well I can't do anything until you've completed that." Why do you accept walk ins yet still make people request appointments. Her attitude and tone of voice sucked. I stood there, still clueless as to what she wanted me to do and she finally said "sit down, I can see when you've finished." We had been coming here over the past several months but there has been a sudden policy change that goes against the insurance company policy. Even though the facility is in-network , listed on the insurance co website with reasonable deductible, Citra's new policy is that they charge $150 regardless. I would pay half that amount at most other urgent care facilities. Not sure how they justify going against the insurance companies negotiated rate and stay in-network. read more

I have been here a few times with my kids and they have been great every time. We've seen Steve the most and he always makes sure he talks to the kids and makes them comfortable while we're there. Your staff is very calming I was having my first episode of Vertigo and my eyes where doing complete cartwheels but your staff and Diana I believe your head nurse ( I know not the right title but you get it) was extremely adaptive to me in explanations of whats happening and reviled after she was checking of multiple box's of negative possibilities. They are rude, cut you off, sound irritated, and rush you off the phone every time to call for an appt or to check on something. I was able to set an appointment on line. They were able to see me within a reasonable amount of time. Nurse Practitioner Ms. Gillian Palmer was very through, personable, caring, and a delight to have met. My wound was cared for in a prompt and professional manner and everything pertinent was thoroughly checked by Ms. Palmer. If all of their medical staff is as friendly and competent as Ms. Palmer I see no reason to look further for a provider in the future. Being new to the Dallas area right when the pandemic started we haven't had a chance to find a primary doctor amongst other care. I came to this location around 7:45 pm and felt very comfortable and safe walking in to be seen by the np. He checked me out and listened to my concerns which is super important to me. Some doctors just want to get you in and out quickly. He reassured me with confidence that it's my allergies making me feel so awful. I'll definitely come back if I ever need to! read more

I went in for a Covid test and was treated with extreme kindness and respect. I wish I could remember the name of the PA who treated me. She was so kind and caring. She listened to my lungs and sent me the the ER. Even in the ER they didn't get close enough to me to listen to my lungs, nor did threat me with the same kindness and respect. read more

I started looking for some options early Saturday morning when I knew I had to see a doctor and saw the reviews about this facility that's in my own back yard. My husband took me there when they opened and there was already one other patient waiting but I was checked in and seen promptly. Haylee Terry, PA-C, was SUPER. She listened so well, thorough observation, and made a recommendation for a test that turned out to be the key to my overall issue. (The flu) And the nurse that gave me the flu test, bless her heart, was so good and she gave me a shot before I left that I barely felt! I left with clear Instructions, All the right prescriptions submitted to my local pharmacy, and am already improving within 24 hours. The facility is clean and neat, water and coffee in the waiting room, electronic charts for efficiency, and a friendly and caring group of professionals. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of medical care outside your normal physician's hours. read more

I wanted to share my experience today as I have felt there was a break in my trust and confidence in the care of this practice. Previously my husband had great care here and I came expecting the same experience, but left without it. I scheduled an appointment with the option of "illness". Fully recognizing I was not feeling well, hence why I chose to come in to an urgent care on a Sunday. I come in and the front desk lady walks me into the exam room and hands me a covid 19 hand out. Next, the MA comes in immediately says "hi you're here for covid." Wow. WITHOUT ASKING AND LISTENING to my full symptoms or having an evaluation by a Dr. or PA. As I begin to START sharing MY symptoms I'm immediately cut off by the MA as she says "you do know these are covid symptoms, sneezing and runny nose." She says as she rolls her eyes looking at her computer screen. K I wasn't done yet, sure they may be... but I KNOW I'm not only dealing with a respiratory illness. She then states she wants to "rule out covid by having a covid test done". I've only ever had a DR or PA order a test AFTER full evaluation on me or my children as patients. okay all I've seen is that you're only concerned with covid. Covid everything. Covid first. Bill the insurance for covid. Not the patient first. This did not establish trust at all. MA then comes back in and hands me a "covid" form without updating the status of the test and walks right back out. PA was more kind And attentive and did perform an evaluation and he was NOT the one who ordered the covid test but did deliver the results of a positive covid test, by then trust was lost. I would have a very difficult time returning for care. Or recommending anyone to this practice. Maybe once the "pandemic" ends and you need to see patients for medical care you will update your routine of care. read more

We went here in thanksgiving break my son has a allergy ,the provider said it's hive he gave some medicine for allergy when my son take that medicine his condition is so bad he has vomiting , diarrhea all night,very bad tummy pain ,then Monday we went to our regular doctor when she see that medicine she is very angry why they give that medicine for 7 years old kid , and than she send my son emergency room really quick. If you schedule an appointment and are running behind and have the ability to text patients a heads up then why not do that? An hour past our appointment time and still waiting to be seen. Decided to wait in the car. They texted they were ready for us so we went in. 10 minutes later we're still standing in the petri dish of a waiting room waiting to be taken back to a patient room. Why text "we're ready for you" when you truly aren't ready to walk the patient back to a room? The waiting room is not big enough and with all manner of sickness going around at this time of year I'm not about to sit around in a cramped room that's packed and that doesn't have proper ventilation. It was stifling in there. I will seek out care elsewhere if this is the standard of service provided. We haven't had problems in the past so the experience this time was disappointing. If there's a wait then there's a wait, I get that, but communication is critical in setting expectations with patients. I'd much rather wait at home than in a small waiting room full of sick people. read more

Was taken here 12/8/19 after a dirt bike crash - chest trauma and coughing blood was told at the desk I would have to wait at least an hour!!! This is a low grade vet clinic at best - AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! And evidently Dr. Nick is a Pompous a$$ to boot!! Doc - I was taken to your "Urgent" Care facility only because it was the closet place to my accident. I do appreciate your dissertation on healthcare in your reply, however, why not ask why I was not even triaged only seen by a lil teenage girl at the desk. Great staff. Got in RIGHT AWAY. My blood pressure was a little high at the time of my visit. I came in a few days later to have it checked. I didn't need an appointment. They took it and assured me it was ok and I was able to leave without being charged for a visit. I will be back and tell everyone to go there when needed. read more

I contacted Dr. Karr through the messenger link on his Google search option while viewing the Sinai Urgent Care page. After about 10 minutes I recieved a message containing info on my available options. He was able to talk by phone and give me his opinion on what I should do since he wasn't going to be available at any of his locations due to his schedule which was fine considering, this gentlemen took the time to give me a call and let me know where I can go to be seen asap. I had a soar throat and a temperature around 100 which made me uneasy do to my son being a toddler. The staff is very friendly and service is beyond exceptional. Very unusual that an urgent care would provide this level of service. I am impressed and astonished with Dr. Karr and his staff at the Murphy location. Haylee is fantastic, Baley was extremely helpful, and Charlotte was very genuine. Haylee is the young lady who administered the flu and strep test she was as considerate as possible because those test are very unpleasant. Charlotte is intelligent, pretty, and was joy to be in her company as I was not feeling well. Hope to be better soon as I trust Charlotte knew exactly what I needed. read more

When it comes to urgent care centers, they can get a bad rap. My family has a lot of health issues and so we've been to many providers. But this place gives nothing but top of the line care and might as well be a top tier hospital. We've brought our 2 year old son here many times now and Haley and the staff are always kind, genuine, and show that they truly care for their patients. You really don't get that these days and it's so refreshing to experience. After seeing that with my son, I decided to come in when I was having a crohn's flare. Instead of waiting to see my GI, I had enough confidence in this place that they would do the job. And Haley did exactly that. Haley is truly fantastic and knows exactly what she's doing. I waited out front for 15 minutes only to be told, after calling them and being put on hold 3 times, that they couldn't see me for a minor thing. I stopped in here because my family was nagging me to go to the Dr. My basic symptoms of sore throat, ear pressure and congestion disrupted the holidays and my days off! I checked in about 8 and was out by 8:30. My prescriptions were sent straight over and available before my pharmacy closed at 9. My only uh moment was when the PA came in. She looks really young, but after talking to her and getting a great plan of care, I wouldn't hesitate treatment. The whole staff was very friendly and the entire facility was very clean. Needless to say, I feel so much better after just 1 day. **Side note-I called that "major name brand" urgent care center and their wait time was over 3 hrs. Yeah, I can wait at home, but I would not have gotten my prescriptions the same day. Also, I have never gotten the same promptness or friendliness at the other place. read more

Went in for a really bad earache in my right ear before they closed for the evening. Left the facility with pain and a ruptured eardrum in the left. I had a doctor and student doctor tending to me. Didn't like the student doctor much after the experience since she's the one who worked on the left ear. Before they let me leave, the doctor looked in the left ear and only mentioned it still had a small layer (of wax) and completely dismissed that I had been in tears when they worked on said ear. 4 hours later (after the sound of rushing water was gone from my left ear) I was in such excruciating pain I had to go to the ER. The doctor in the ER took one look at the left ear and immediately saw the rupture. I now have to follow up with a specialist to ensure my eardrum heals properly. Also worth mentioning that the prescribed medication from Sinai Urgent Care doctors for my ears burned like CRAZY in the ear that is ruptured. This is something that could have been prevented if the pharmacy I use didn't mix up their (Sinai) prescription with the one I needed (from the ER). That is on the fault of the pharmacy - whom corrected the issue immediately and apologized. I called Sinai Urgent Care to report the problem I had, the receptionist was super down the to earth, but I never heard back from anyone like she said I would. It's been about 4 days since this all happened, 2 days since I called Urgent Care to report it. I still can't hear hardly at all from my left ear, but at least now I'm on the right antibiotics from the doctors at the ER. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

Made an appointment for my husband to get tested for COVID-19. Was denied testing based on abdominal pain being one of MANY symptoms, including complete loss of taste/smell, short of breath, fever, and known exposure to an infected coworker. My husband also has a history of serious health problems including high blood pressure and heart disease, which places him in a high risk category for not having a good outcome if infected. So the doctor refused to test him, unless we drive to their other facility in Dallas to get (and pay for) a full work up for abdominal pain (which is also a known COVID-19 symptom in at least 30% of patients). We did get testing somewhere else, and he tested positive!!!! The abdominal pain was the least of his symptoms, and resolved completely all on its own. This was nothing but a ploy to get more money out of us, at the risk of letting his real and valid problem go untreated. So they achieved nothing but to delay care. I reached out now that he is recovered, no thanks to them. Not only did they show no remorse for the way they treated my husband, but they were rude about it. What a horrible place! read more
