We checked Yelp and decided to visit this location (which was 15mins away from where we were) based on the 5 star reviews alone-- I'm so glad we did! We were greeted upon entry, electronically filled out the new patient info, then called back right away. The doctor and nurses were very warm and knowledgeable; taking the time to thoroughly explain, diagnose, and provide a treatment plan for my teenaged athlete. I was very impressed by the level of care, cleanliness and customer service provided by this clinic. I hope to not have to visit them again for anything serious, but I'm glad to know that this wonderful clinic exists should I ever need urgent care in the future. I highly recommend this location!

Upon getting to the ER, and after waiting for 5 hours, the ER dr. was shocked that Make you Well Urgent Care hadn't splinted my sons arm. His break was fairly bad and ended up requiring surgery with an orthopedic doctor a few days later. After seeing an ER dr, they were told all they could do was splint it and give him pain meds and we were to make an appt with the orthopedic dr. Both of these 2 things could've, and should've, been done at Make You Well Urgent Care. There was no need for them to wait in the ER for 5 hours just to be treated with what, we had expected, the urgent care to do.

I normally don't write reviews, but I'm very unhappy with the service at this location. I'm new to…read morethe area and don't yet have a primary care provider, so I relied on this office for care. Unfortunately, I had to return three separate times just to get treated properly. The biggest issue is follow-up. They are extremely poor at communicating lab results. I repeatedly called the front desk to ask about results or next steps, but information was never disclosed and callbacks never happened. Because of this lack of follow-up, I was forced to keep returning in person. Nothing from my visits or lab results appeared to be documented in my account, so each visit felt like starting from scratch. Providers had no clear record of prior visits, and prescriptions were not provided because results weren't available or accessible. Overall, the lack of communication, documentation, and follow-through made this a frustrating experience, especially for someone without an established PCP. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.

Honestly, finding a podiatrist was my last resort, fearing the worst. I found Dr. Khan and Lonestar Podiatry and they got me in same day. After a thorough exam, he diagnosed me with Plantar Fasciitis.. sounded like a Harry Potter spell to me. He gave me a steroid shot in my heel and I got 90% pain relief on the spot! Dr. Khan also gave me easy stretching instructions and a PT prescription to help my heel heal. Six weeks later, I'm nearly back to my normal routine, I feel like this whole thing is manageable. Shoutout to the amazing front desk team, too--friendly, efficient, and total pros when it comes to booking, insurance, and not judging you for limping in like a character from Pirates of the Caribbean. After switching again to BlueCross BlueShield HMO, I finally got an appointment. But Dr. Muhyiddin rushed through it, offering only a few minutes of his time. When I asked for a referral to an orthopedic specialist--required by my insurance--he dismissed my request and said he didn't have time. During a telehealth visit, his advice was vague, and he showed no interest in addressing my health concerns, despite me struggling with high cholesterol levels and other serious issues. I reached out multiple times, but my messages went unanswered, and my calls were ignored. As a Muslim, I am reminded of the verse from the Quran that says, "The believers are but brothers" (Quran 49:10). I trusted Dr. Muhyiddin as a brother, but instead, I was met with arrogance and neglect. It is deeply saddening to see someone, especially a Muslim doctor, forget the values of compassion and service. I watched as Dr. Muhyiddin became more successful and popular, but I also want to remind him that in the blink of an eye, Allah can change anyone's status. Allah is the one who gives, and He is the one who can take away. It's pride that blinds us to this truth, and I pray that Dr. Muhyiddin understands that no matter how high he rises, he can be humbled in an instant by Allah's will. The pride of ghurur can easily turn a person from the highest to the lowest in the blink of an eye, and I hope he reflects on this. Set an appointment for a Dr. visit and a possible x-ray from an injury that "might" be work related. This was something for the doctor to determine as there were several variables. Once the nurse heard the word "JOB", she cancelled my appointment. I never got to finish why it might be job related or might not be, as I was at work with my boss in front of me. Called the next day (as they close before I got off work) and was told the nurse was with a patient and she would call back. I stated, I wanted to reinstate my appointment this afternoon and that it was cancelled wrongly. 3 1/2 hours past with no return call. I called back and cancelled a future appointment for a checkup that was over 2 months away (soonest possible date). Less than 5 minutes later, a manager called me to ask why I was cancelling my appointment. That confirmed my opinion that this office is more worried about counting their $$ than helping patients. Over 3 1/2 hours and still counting for a patients health concerns vs. under 5 minutes after cancelling an appointment. My wife left years ago for the same problems. The manager stated that we don't call patients back until the end of the day and that was policy. My wife found that they just don't call patients back unless it was over billing. No wonder so many are demanding free health care. They must all have visited this clinic! All kidding aside, in my opinion, their action proved to me that patients are here to serve the clinic, not the other way around. $$ over patients = Goodbye!
