Staff in back was caring and friendly. What I don't understand is why I checked in online, waited an hour with only one other person in the clinic, and then everything moved in slow motion once in a room. They drew blood but results were not called to me after 3 days. I use Quest for all my labs and it doesn't take 3 days for a CBC to come back. I was at the doctor, they faxed request for my labs but never received them by the time I left 90 minutes later. The care is nothing compared to Med Spring or even some of the other Carenow locations. Too bad. read more

Finally the rainfall has ceased and summer weather is taking over. The only issue is I feel like crap! And no one wants to feel like crap when it's 93 outside. So I came to MedSpring in Richardson (on Campbell) to see Dr. Sachin. He's extremely attentive and polite. He prescribed me a steroid and antibiotic to clear up this icky Sinus Infection. I attempted to schedule an appointment for the next day with Millissa Tanner at the front desk. I filled out all paperwork and checked in before going into this facility. There was a two hour wait, so I scheduled for the following day at 12pm. She wrote down the time and my name. She was rude, short and used a non friendly tone and said she would get to it when she, "caught up on her work." I went in at 12pm the next day and I wasn't on the list. She proceeded to use a lame excuse that there were many procedures that needed to be completed that morning and that the wait time was now another 2+ hours. I advised her that my appointment was at 12pm and she is the reason I wasn't on the list. Apparently, she does not have a manager. She gave me a general number to contact and file a complaint and the number was just an automated system that threw me for loops with no contact made. What a joke. Would not recommend. The staff were unfriendly and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them with my appointment. When I told them what I thought was going on, they didn't believe me. I could overhear bickering/arguing between staff while I waited. And when I explained how I'd like to be treated for my visit (similar to how I've treated the symptoms before), they dismissed me and wouldn't discuss other treatment options. read more

Went here for a drug test. It was a urine test that should generate results in 5 minutes. HOWEVER Its been 6 days and STILL no results. Confronted the store in person 3 days ago, they allegedly made some calls and no one had any results or knew what was going on. I'm about to be on day 7, still havnt heard anything. What a waste of 40ish bucks. I'll never be back. So organized. I honestly doubt they are going to make it for another year. No one had a sense of URGENCY at this so called "urgent care" clinic. I hope they get replaced by a 24/7 chicken restaurant. That would be way more beneficial for this neighborhood. read more

My wife lost her hearing after swimming on Saturday morning. After 24 hours and failed to restore her hearing with home remedies, we decided to come for help on Sunday morning 08:00 am. We we were greeted and the medical receptionist was very professional. He took our ID and Insurance then explained how the process will go. All that happened in 15 minutes. Then the nurse asked us to the exam room and review our medical history, take blood pressure, and record temperature. The Nurse Partitioner came in and examined her ears. She prescribed the treatment to the nurse and the nurse was very patient. The Nurse Partitioner came in and examined my wife again and check on her again and off we went! We would have to wait three or four days to see her primary care provider. The entire treatment was timely, courteous, and smooth. Will definitely come again for small emergencies! read more

I usually never have to go out of my way to write a bad review but this clinic definitely needed one. Came here this past Sunday (11/8) to get flu/strep & COVID test. Clinic experience went fine until the day I knew my COVID results on Wednesday (11/11). Melissa, front desk answered my call the first time, transferred me to Aubrey and she told me that she has my results but she said she has to call me back for some odd reason but she never did. So I called back 40 minutes later because I had to give my work the results but Melissa did NOT answer my call twice. I called from a different number soon after and she answered quickly and that was the only way I found my COVID results. So unprofessional. This was honestly the worst clinic I've ever been to, I would not recommend. 0/10 read more

I've never had such a quality healthcare experience in my life. The staff are all knowledgeable, friendly, and beyond accommodating. The visit was a little long - it is cold and flu season after all - but the staff was always checking in with me, providing beverages or blankets (yes an actual blanket I got to take home!) or just letting me know how many other patients were ahead of me. Despite being SLAMMED and understaffed, the actual prescriber spent enough time with me to explain what medication I was getting, how to take it, what to expect, etc. The process is the same as any other urgent care facility - check in, wait for a room, wait in the room for evaluation, then discharge. The difference is in the staff. Each and every one of the nurses/aids I encountered seemed genuinely interested in my healthcare, my comfort, my experience, and my outcomes. This was a 10/10 "luxury" healthcare experience in my opinion. I highly recommend this place over each and every one of their competitors. read more

Had a very positive experience here! I am one of those people who rarely gets sick. I am very healthy in my day to day life and choices. So when I had been experiencing abnormal abdominal pain for consecutive days, I knew I had to go get checked ASAP. I went as a walk-in. The facilities are very clean, nice, and new. The building is right next to a 7-11 and very easy to find. I was treated professionally and friendly from check in to check out. My whole consultation process was smooth and simple. When asked where to go for treatment, was told to shelter in please quarantined Told them I'm 72, alone in a hotel, have COPD also 4 hrs from home and wife is recent cancer survivor They advised hospitals only admit severe cases My son came and picked me up 3 days later and drove me to BSW in Round Rock tx where I was admitted immediately, treatment started an hour later. I Initially read some of the comments and was a little apprehensive to try this location, however, I do understand every person and every company has their off moments and also you cannot please everyone no matter how much you try. However, i had a wonderful experience. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and so was the staff. I didn't see the doctor much who didn't explain things to me without me asking a lot more questions but, she was nice, a bit distant but, i received the care my son needed. Its because of the staff that made all the difference. I went back because of something i left behind and the same lady at the front desk was there. I inquired about getting my son a physical and she was more than helpful and gave me the information I needed with a big smile and I will definitely come back because of her and the gentleman in the back. I was looking forward to a positive experience having read such strong reviews and also had friends who had visited with positive experiences. Upon waking in and greeting the nurse at the desk, she asked me why I was visiting. I told her for a flu test, to which she replied "we don't have any more here. The dr. can see you, and give you medicine if he thinks it might be, but we can't give you a test." Okay-no problem-I said I'd stay. She then took my drivers license and insurance, and told me I have at least 5 people ahead of me. I asked about the online appt I'd made and she curtly told me it was a walk in, so I'd still have to wait-it didn't matter. I asked if she might have a time estimate and she said at least 30 minutes. I said I'd just go elsewhere. Her deadpan and abrupt attitude were less than inviting. Now-I understand and am fine with the fact they were out of flu tests-my only complaint was her attitude and lack of helpfulness-I felt like I was putting her out and inconveniencing her. She didn't smile or ever greet me but gave me the impression I was inconveniencing her the entire time. I've never had a nurse that abrupt or rude. I'll never visit again and be sure to share my experience with all of my local friends. Customer service people-especially if you're in a care-taking position! read more

Super disappointed in my experience. Even with an online reservation I waited 1 1/2hrs to see the doctor. I was literally in the exam room so long the lights kept turning off. When I did finally get to see the doctor I was told that I needed to stay home from work but that it was not their policy to fill out the necessary paperwork. I called to get an X-ray done yesterday night. I went in at around 7:30PM, I got seen by a tech and moved into the imaging room to get an X-ray. I am a college student paying $215 for the X-ray, I really regret going to MedSpring, because when I called (multiple times, they said an appointment is $160 and an X-ray is $215, while they meant the appointment to speak with a provider is $165 and the X-ray is an additional $50). If I knew that nothing was going to work and that waiting until Tuesday will be my best bet, I would've done that. The X-ray wasn't working so I sat on the table for 40 or so minutes waiting for the X-ray to be done. Keep in mind I only interacted with the receptionist and the technician at that point. The technician calls in the provider to talk to me as he tried to fix the X-ray machine. I was just sitting on the table asking questions about my foot, because I had nothing else to do and the doctor came in and talked to me. I was in the clinic till 8:30 and did not get my X-ray done because of the equipment not working. As I leave the room they talked about how difficult me receiving the refund will be and I just asked for a reschedule. I just went to this location again, they did attempt to reach me but my phone was on fo not disturb, so that was my fault. I get there and they say the X-ray machine still isn't working, so I can go to another location and get it done. First of all I ask for a refund, the nurse tells me I can't get a refund because I spoke to a provider. I was so confused because I thought I was going to be able to due to the conversation I had last night about the refund. She then tells me that they can only refund me $50, as I already saw the provider or I can go to another location that is 16 minutes on the highway. I DO NOT feel like the quality of care I received yesterday night was $165 when I was not even aware of what was happening as they were trying to fix the machine. She then remarks that they GAVE ME THE BOOT I WAS WEARING. No it was mine. I got it myself, I told her that because that made it seem like I received way more help than I actually did. All she replied with was "oh", nothing like a sorry I just made an assumption, nothing like that. Since the technician called in the provider when we were in the imaging room (when he was still fixing the machine), and he stepped foot into the room I was in, that meant that I was seen. I understand it now, but keep in mind this is a wake up call. I've never been to the doctors by myself without my parents (I know I need to learn for myself and I did for sure based on this visit), and since it's so close to the UTD dorms, I tried to take care of myself. Definitely isn't an urgent care based on the fact I still don't know what is wrong with my foot because I don't have the X-ray. The nurse mentioned that the provider diagnosed me with a sprain, although a fracture is unlikely at this point, without an X-ray I have no clue why it seemed so certain when they mentioned it to me. I'm currently on my way to the other urgent care, the actual length that we have to travel (11 miles, eh not too far but not close by), rain and traffic is making the whole trip take twice as long as she said it was going to take. Hopefully I will know what's wrong with my feet. read more

Do not come here I was misdiagnosed by a doctor here and 3 days later I was in the hospital for kidney failure. If you care about yourself and your loved ones go to a different clinic. The doctors here are dismissive and don't listen to your symptoms and they easily let something possibly fatal slip by that could have been solved by a simple blood test. read more

I was extremely impressed with the ease of my visit. The facility was clean, welcoming, kid friendly, and even provided complimentary snacks while waiting. I was made to feel like I was the only patient there that day, even though I knew there were a few people in other rooms being seen. I went in with no appointment, and in less than an hour I had my vitals taken, xrays done, consultation completed, and was heading out the door to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription. I am hoping I will not need to visit an urgent care anytime soon, but if I do, I will definitely be coming back to MedSpring in Richardson. read more

Went here for a physical for my job. Not only did they no complete the DOT forms properly, they gave me the run around. When I asked them to correct the paperwork they said that Iyan (the guy that did my physical) wasn't in and I would have to wait a week for him to return. My only other option was to do the physical again. Frustrated I agreed to do it again. This time they insisted on doing a blood test. I strongly advised them not to and explained that this wasn't part of any dot physical federal or state. They kept insisting I was wrong and that I would have to do it. Since I was already delayed I allowed them to. I got my paperwork and walked out... but that's not it. Dr Julia did the same mistake dr iyan did and incorrectly filled out the dot physical form. I explained it to her and her response was "I know what I am doing, I'm the dr here!" I called the state of Texas and they agreed that DR. JULIA indeed improperly filled my form. Costing me time and money from work! She refused to accept that she was in the wrong and said "maybe you should learn to word it better". Very insulting and unprofessional. Not only that but malpractice is a serious offense and I will be contacting the board. read more
