I chose to move forward with the repairs, he advised me not to drive the car in the meantime. Taking that seriously, I arranged for a rental vehicle for a week while waiting for his next available appointment. The night before the scheduled repair, I messaged David to confirm our appointment. He read the message but never responded. The following day, which was the day he was supposed to show up, came and went, still no word from him. This situation ended up costing me not only the $50 fee, but also over $300 in rental fees, not to mention the inconvenience of rearranging my schedule.
