Not even worth 1 star. We had satisfactory work done on our Audi Q5 but we took our 1999 Toyota Corolla in for a simple fix to put a starter in and they kept our vehicle for 4 days Thurs-Monday. They said part wouldn't be in until Friday then out of the blue 2 hours later they said starter was installed after saying they couldn't get part till Friday in Phoenix. They said car was still not running. They kept it Friday Sat. Sun. Then Monday morning out of the blue they said it was running. They quoted 550.00. Then switched it to 790.00 for total 3 hours labor. We definitely got scammed. We marked it as a lesson and will never go there again with our 4 other autos. You will get a fair price and honest diagnostics, which can be difficult when you own German cars. I've taken my cars to him 3 times and only paid once. The other times, they checked my cars out and explained that it was just a warning or did not need to be replaced at the moment. IF this ever happened at the dealer, it would have cost me $200. In the only instance when I paid, the pricing was very fair. I had diagnosed the issue online and considered trying to make the repair myself, pricing the parts at about $250. However, the repair here was about $350, which seemed to be fair and totally reasonable. If you've got an import car and are looking for honesty, this is the place to go. read more

Just moved into the area and so glad I found Noe Import via online. I took my Audi A4 for an oil change with 85K miles which took no more than 30mins and cost less than $100. My 8month old baby was with me so the quick service was a plus. The waiting area was nice with unique history books about Arizona. Although I didn't get any major services done, overhearing the communication/recommendations between Noe and the other customer was reassuring. Shortly after leaving the house this morning, I had an advisory message that my alternator was not being charged. I'd never gone to Noe before today but decided since I was so close by I'd give them a shot. They were able to diagnose my problem right away and even schedule the repairs the same day. They gave me an accurate timeline as to when the repairs would be completed but they saved me quite a bit of money compared to what the dealership would have charged me. Steve even took the time to explain to me what went wrong and that if he could've changed one small part instead of the whole alternator, he would have. I brought my Audi in for scheduled maintenance and a minor repair. The maintenance service was performed by the book and was literally half the price of the Audi dealership. The repair was fixed at a very reasonable price. Additionally, a local tire store had recommended a repair that Noe's provided additional insight on. Specifically, the tire store's recommendation was to replace much more than was needed (control arms) when just the bushings needed replacement. I really like my car and it's not all about saving money. Steve really took good care of my car. The fact that he saved me over $2000 is really nice too. Noe's was really easy to do business with. I dropped my car off early, they kept me informed of the progress, and I picked it up at the end of the day. I highly recommend Noe's. read more

I have taken both my Mercedes cls 550 and my Infinity Fx35 here. They are so honest several times they have looked at the cars and not even charged me. Try getting that kind of service from a dealer. They have saved me thousands on quotes from dealers on everything from scheduled maintenance to air ride springs. They replaced the cracked fuel tank on the Mercedes and the next time i saw them they were aware that after the work was done a recall was issued so they gave me all the paperwork and told me how to file for the refund. I have a 6 cylinder 3.4L '99 Toyota 4Runner that's been having misfire problems for over a year. I've taken it to multiple places and worked on it myself and no luck. Steve figured out the problem within half an hour. Steve was prompt, thorough and helpful. He came in under quote and used either OEM or equal quality parts. He also helped me locate a replacement audio deck, as mine's been malfunctioning. I can't give a higher recommendation if you have a European or Japanese auto. read more

This is the most honest and reliable auto shop around, as far as I know. I realize that is a bold statement, but at other places I have been taken advantage of and overcharged so many times. Probably because I am car ignorant, and it doesn't help that maybe some unscrupulous auto shops see women as easy money targets for unnecessary repairs. Today for example, I brought my car in because of a massive oil leak and they told me it would be $25 dollars to fix it as included in a new oil change and it was a mistake from Firestone, where I have been paying $50 to get my oil changed and having problems like an old gasket ignored. They also told me I could probably take it back to Firestone and get it fixed for free because it should have been included in my oil change there. I told Noe Auto to just do it because I don't trust Firestone anymore. Previously, my fiance has also taken his car there, and where another shop quoted $1200 for a repair and the need for parts to be replaced, Noe Auto found out that a small fix that cost $100 or less would repair it and it wasn't even the problem the other shop thought it was. His car is running fine now and has been since Noe Auto worked on it. They don't hold your car hostage and I haven't been charged for them to look at it. Simply love the service here and I wish more people knew about this place! read more

I would highly recommend Steve Noe at Noe Imports. We had our Audi towed to the dealership where they quoted us almost $8,000 for a new transmission that they claimed we needed. We called Steve for a second opinion and he immediately recognized that the problem we were having was inconsistent with transmission problems. We decided to tow the car from the dealer to Noe imports because we did not believe that they were correctly diagnosing the problem. Sure enough, the problem was a $250 fix, not a new transmission.
