I will always drive that hour to have you take care of my vehicle!! Very happy customer!!

1st time bringing our car here, after highly positive recommendations from friends, and reviews. I…read moream so glad we did! This is a no bull shop! Howard is straight forward and honest. He and his crew are highly experienced. Our 2007 Toyota Highlander, had a knock sensor code, ( given to us by auto zone), was losing power on acceleration. Howard tested it, and stayed in constant and prompt contact via text as to what he found ( with pictures). As he was looking into our vehicle to fix things, he recommended quite a few things that should be changed, in order to make our car run efficiently once again ( things that would not make any sense to delay), and explained each reason as to why. We took his suggestions, and are glad we did without hesitation. If you take your car here, of which we would highly recommend, be ready to hear the truth, and don't be a wise guy , and think you know better... by not taking his suggestions and reasons, then returning all mad. This wouldn't be the place for you. If you want outstanding, fair, honest, knowledgeable, prompt care for your vehicle, do not hesitate to come to B & H Auto.

Yesterday my mother called this location to ask about parts because she prefers OEM on her car and…read moreSteve's daughter Shyra answered the phone and was completely rude and unhinged. This is why I always make my mother put her calls on speaker because Steve's wife(Rochelle) and daughter, for whatever reason, have a habit of lying about things and have pretty consistently bullied my elderly mother for years. So apparently the daughter lied and said that my mother cussed her out, which she would never do, so when we got here this morning Steve told my mother you can't come here anymore instead of calling her and canceling it and having the guts to do that knowing she would be driving all the way in from Flagstaff. The behavior from his family is something documented on Reddit in several threads about mechanics around Phoenix, yelp, and other parts of the Internet so it's incredibly easy to verify this information and since his wife and daughter are now answering all of the complaints posts on yelp, I'm very curious to see how they respond to my very honest review. I also have that phone call recorded so I might post it on YouTube and link to it here to expose the obvious lying by Steve's daughter and i'm taking it to another mechanic to have them look at the work that was just done on it with the water pump and timing belt to make sure it was done correctly. In the short time that I posted this review, several people reached out expressing how many problems they had at A1 auto and recommended two mechanics in Apache Junction and Mesa and I've already spoken to both on the phone and not only are their mechanics knowledgeable, but their office staff is spectacular!! I consider this a good thing because now we have better places to get car repairs done! This community on Yelp really comes together to help people when it's needed.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Tatum's Garage. I paid Alec over $2,000 for parts…read moreand labor for multiple repairs on my BMW, including $722 specifically for shocks. Recently, I took my vehicle in to have new tires installed. While the rear tire was being changed, I noticed the shocks still had the original BMW emblem on them. This led me to believe the shocks that were charged as new had not actually been replaced. I contacted Alec about the issue, and he said he would refund my money, but I have not received any payment or resolution. He also stated he would repair the part but I will not have him touch any of my vehicles again. What makes this situation even more disappointing is that I have heard of similar issues involving other family members. My advice to anyone considering this shop is to carefully verify all work performed and keep detailed records of parts and repairs. I hope this situation can still be resolved, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend Tatum's Garage.

So something did happen.....and the Arnold's team responded beautifully! Although this van had low mileage, it is 9 years old....it looked showroom new. STILL had a bit of that new car smell. Based on the CarFax it may have been in a fleet of private rental vehicles, but wasn't driven much so sitting dormant may have contributed to the gas pump issue that popped up about two weeks or so after we bought it. The Arnold's service team inspected it, made the correct diagnosis and very quickly had me back sporting around in our new van. So grateful that we chose to partner with Arnold's for this vehicle purchase. Will go here first whenever we need another car!
