Came out this morning car would not start. Tried to jump it would not start. Contacted Roadside Mike came over tried to jump it no go. Thought it was the battery not the starter came back with a new battery one that's was the correct size for my Kia Sorrento installed and started right up. Good price, great service and nice guy. Will use Roadside Mike for future auto service. He also found a problem left by a previous service I had. read more

Great guy. Fantastic experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend Roadside Mike.

Mike dropped by my office for a rear brake job on my Lexus. Reached out to him and scheduled service with him within the same day. He arrived and explained exactly what he was going to work on, and educated me about the brake system and was honest about what would be needed/not needed (whereas a normal mechanic shop would have not done a thorough inspection and just throw parts/labor at my car which I've had happen before). I feel like I got a solid price and would have paid close to double if I went to a Big O or Discount Tire. He treated me like I was a human rather than an opportunity to bill me for a bunch of unnecessary labor/parts - which I appreciated since thats hard to come by in the auto repair world in my experience. I would definitely use Mike service's again should I need any read more

I set up an appointment for what I thought was a bad starter on my daughter's car. Turns out that when my daughter changed the battery, she put the plastic battery cover on backwards and that caused one battery cable to become loose. He was able to determine that was the problem and the starter was fine. He was very good with just charging a minimum fee. read more

Roadside Mike was one of the first prompts that showed up for mobile tire repair on Yelp. He was the second service I called, but first to pick up. Mike answered and ask how he can help. Asked me to text information of where disabled vehicle is located. We were on the side of the freeway which is always scary. He asked us to remain inside the vehicle until he arrives. He quoted me about 30 minutes before he can get there and gave us a very reasonable price for such fix. Mike showed up within 15 minutes of us contacting him. He got to work right away and got us all fixed and ready for the road. We will 100% contact him if we run into trouble while out in the road in valley. Thank you Roadside Mike for all your help! read more

I needed rear brake pads. I brought my car to two different (seemingly highly reputable) auto shops in Tempe: the first said that I needed all new pads and rotors, the second said only rear pads and rotors plus caliper replacement and some other stuff. I called Mike and he answered immediately. He said that he would come and do the pads and let me know if there was any gouging on the rotors. He came to my work, replaced and brake pads and SHOWED me that the pads were not as bad as I was told, and that my rotors were perfectly fine. I appreciate him immensely for saving me nearly $1k. I will not only be using him in the future, but I will be referring Mike to my friends/family. He is trustworthy and has good ethics! read more

Really great service! I needed to get my car battery replaced one evening and Mike came first thing the next morning! He was a really cool guy and very efficient. Great to know a reliable mobile mechanic! read more

Roadside Mike was one of the first to give me a quote when I began looking for someone to replace a belt on my car. He responded so fast even though it was late. Unlike other mechanics, he was very straightforward with pricing. He even brought extra parts just in case I needed them. I didn't end up needing them and Mike was very honest that I didn't. He doesn't like to just "throw parts at cars." :) Instead, he recommended I get an oil change with him from the comfort of my home the next week which I happily booked because I am overdue on that anyway. And now I don't have to go anywhere! I can't imagine calling anyone else for car troubles or general maintenance after meeting Roadside Mike! read more

I managed to get my car jumped and home on a Friday night after it died while I was grabbing dinner. Woke up the next day and it was dead again. I called Roadside Mike to inquire about having him bring me a new battery. Unfortunately, his own van was in the shop. I didn't have anywhere to go - so we agreed I could wait a day. Mike came to my condo complex on Sunday afternoon and was done in really, what felt like less than 15 minutes. I will definitely keep his card in my wallet just in case! I think my Mid-town Phoenix home was a but further away from his usual territory, but he still came out. I'm so thankful. read more

Outstanding service! Requested a service for battery replacement via yelp Monday night at 10pm and wasn't expecting anyone to reply that late. Mike messaged me few minutes laters. Okay, so this review right now is post initial phone call to Mike, but pre work visit. Meaning, no work done yet as of this writing. HOWEVER, I REALLY wanted to drop this review right now because of the time he took to talk to me about my car's sickness. It is very rare that I speak with anyone about stuff like this, that I do not feel like I trust them. Well, I feel like I can extend that trust to Mike because of our conversation. Having said that, I will be updating this review when all the work is done, and I am able to drive my Flexy Babe again. (yes, My Ford Flex) Stay tuned for the update. In the mean time, if you need to get work done, give him a call. Maybe wait till after the Holliday is over, unless you are in a real pinch. Either way, you'll be treated right. Thanks for your time Mike, I appreciate it. read more

I was on the freeway in the middle of horrible rush hour morning traffic, on my way to a very important court hearing and I ran out of gas. Yes, I'm an idiot for that BUT, I have a billion not good things I'm dealing with so, wasn't paying attention to how much gas I had. I ended up w/a dead car in the right lane. A very kind guy stopped and pushed my car out of the lane so traffic could pass and offered to find a way to get gas for me and left. A few minutes later here shows up "Roadside Mike". I wasn't aware of his business so,hadn't called him for help but, he saw me stressing out w/my hazards on and finagled his truck in (amazing feat, I check out the pic below! It shows it but, hard to see how bad the traffic was but it was really bad!) He had some gas w/him so was able to get me set up and back on the road fast. Thanks Mike! You are awesome! Absolutely the best. Mike turned a stressful afternoon. My son had a flat tire and did not have a spare. Mike came and took the bad tire off, took it to Discount tire and had that tire replaced. He helped me with the deposit for the full set and put our name in the queue. He returned to the car on the side of the road put the new tire on. We went immediately to Discount tire where we were next on their list. There were many people waiting for service but thanks to Mike we were in and out very quickly. We will have Mike's number in all of our kids cars and ours! Thanks Mike! read more

On Friday May 28, 2021, out of nowhere I saw my engine temperature gauge start to show very hot. I was lucky to stop the car under a bridge which provided a nice shade as the day was very hot. I cannot afford to destroy the only car I have. With no warning, I opened the hood and could see I lost all my coolant. My hands were shaking trying to figure out what to do. As I am currently unemployed, quotes for a tow truck from Tempe back to Phoenix were in the $200 range. I have to save money so that was out of the question. In a state of despair, a car pulls up behind me. The driver opens his window and asks if I had a tow coming or if I needed help. My answer was I'm trying to figure it out. He asked what happened and asked if he could take a look at the engine to see what was going on. I always carry plenty of water and coolant. I added all I had to the reservoir and when I started the car, the reservoir coolant would not go down. Well, Mike had coolant and he poured all he had into my radiator. The reason my engine wasn't taking the coolant from the reservoir was because the water pump wasn't circulating the coolant. He then gave me instructions that saved my engine and got me home safe. On a hot day, I was told to run my heater at the hottest setting and, to make sure the blower was on high too. This trick causes the system to create a vacuum that pulls the coolant from the radiator into the engine block. Well it worked. All my windows were down. But thank God I got home and my temperature never went above the halfway mark the entire way. I have an honest mechanic and an appointment on Wednesday to fix whatever the issue is. I cannot say enough about Mike. He didn't want to charge me a penny. I gave him $20, and I will send him more around the middle of this month. Mike is extremely nice, assuring, and caring. All he cared about was helping a stranded motorist. His energy calmed me down and I was able to see another day with my only car. It's an old 4Runner that runs great. After 248,000 miles, the water pump gave out. This is a long review because it needs to be. You can count on Mike to treat you right. I want his business to grow because he deserves it. I am sure that if I had an issue on the way home, he would have helped me again. Before he departed, he said something that speaks volumes about him as a person. He said, "on or off duty, if I see a stranded motorist, I have to stop and see if I can help." We do have good Samaritan's and Angels on this planet. I was blessed to meet Mike last Friday, and I will never forget him nor his kindness. Please call Mike if you ever need a hand!! You will have no regrets because he will treat you right!!! Great experience today. My car wouldn't start, but I knew that the battery was good. I called Mike to see if he could diagnose it. He said he couldn't get there right away, but he asked several questions, and suggested that it might just be a bad fuse for the ignition/starter.
