We needed a car towed ONE mile to our auto mechanic on a very early Sunday morning due to a flat that caused our brakes to lock up. It was unfortunately. We limped it into a shopping center parking lot. I would only recommend others use them voluntarily if you're as desperate as we were. As other reviewers have said, their phone staff is extremely rude, dismissive and they fail to provide all of the information needed to customers. The phone staff was rude to State Farm Roadside Assistance Agents on conference calls and also when addressing their own Tow Drivers at the point of pickup and payment! They're antiquated on payment methods. They can't scan cards. No SQUARE or phone pay methods. I wanted to use my Discover card and the woman who answered driver's call yelled WHAT KIND OF CARD IS THAT??!!! When the tow driver said Discover, she lost her ish. NO, NO, NO! WE ONLY TAKE CASH, VISA, MASTERCARDS! (Works n been nice to be told that 6 hours prior when scheduled my 3-4 hour vehicle pickup. This company contracts with multiple cities for parking violations and at fault accidents so (apparently) they feel justified treating ALL customers as criminals of some kind. WTH?! I

Marcos never made me feel we needed to hurry. He was super helpful the whole time. He's a really nice guy. So if you ever find a need for a tow company, please give De La Cruz a try. You will be happy you did. Thank you, Marcos. Great job! You earned a customer for life. George

I purchased a complete vehicle as a parts car in which the seller stated it ran but with occasional…read moretransmission issues. Got the car but battery was beyond dead, more dead than what my little lithium battery powered jump starter could handle. Figured I'd call AAA since I've got the Premier plan so this tow home would be covered. Truck driver arrived 30 min later, and NOPE, apparently this is a "courtesy" tow as opposed to an "emergency" tow, which would NOT be covered since the car was not currently registered or insured. Apparently AAA doesn't do those anymore. I then called a towing company I recall seeing in one of the Facebook groups I'm in, and I'm quoted $190 for a 12 mile tow, but it'll be at least a 3 hour wait. Owner/dispatcher said he'd find out where his drivers are and will let me know. 30 minutes later and I still haven't heard back, and the wife was starting to get hangry. I finally find out that the driver was way out by Tucson and they wouldn't be able to come until 10:30 pm which was 7 hours later. Unfortunately, one of the front windows was open and with a dead battery I couldn't close it, and I just couldn't trust it left open as is until night time. While we were waiting to hear back on the location of the driver my wife found the Tow Guys on Yelp and was already in the middle of messaging Tony, who was very responsive and helpful. After finding out the first company wasn't going to work, my wife got a quote from Tony which was less than half what we were quoted from the first company. Not only that, as soon as we said ok Tony said the driver (Thomas) was en route. We hurried back from where we were about to grab something to eat 10 minutes away and minutes after we get back, Thomas arrives. I've had to get a few vehicles towed in my time (it's what you get when you have a bunch of old finicky German cars) and Thomas is the coolest tow truck driver I've ever met. Like, so cool we could be friends. He brings out this beast of a jump starter to try to jump start it so he could better line up the car. It starts, but the transmission issue pops up and is unable to be put into drive nor neutral. Thomas works his magic and is able to get it into neutral after a few minutes. A quick drive home and he's able to put it exactly where I need it to go. What started as a not so pleasant day turned out to be a great one. Easy and painless, as opposed to most times when you need a tow. I'm so glad the first company wasn't able to do the job so we were able to meet Thomas and we now have a "tow guy" we can trust, and everyone needs a tow guy they can trust! 10/10 would not hesitate to use them again, in fact I am planning on having them assist with future projects already ;)

My husband called Tesla, who sent Elite Towing with the necessary flatbed tow truck to rescue me. Jay worked VERY hard to try to get juice from the dead 12-volt battery, but it was just d-e-a-d. It was then NOT a simple matter of hooking Tessie up onto the flatbed, because parked cars were blocking her on both sides and in front. Coincidentally, another person had called for a tow truck for her car, and the driver of that tow truck, from another towing company, helped us with getting my car out of the wedged-in location.
