I had my car towed from Scottsdale to Phoenix, and when it got to the destination the louvres were missing. The car had been mounted backwards on the bed, and the wind tearing at it ripped it off. I tried to discuss with the company and they said they only had photos of the car after it was dropped off, not before. Then they said they aren't responsible for anything that was "improperly installed", although what they did would have torn anything off with backwards aerodynamics. Here I am writing a review on the Tow Guys. I got to experience their tow service first hand. My son had called them the day before to set up a tow for his car at 8:00 A.M. on Friday morning. So I arrived at his place before the tow truck was to arrive. Needless to say, they arrived not only on time but earlier than expected. I directed the driver to where the car was and the tow truck guy wasted no time. Before I knew it his car was ready to be taken to our mechanic. Made sure he knew the directions to where the car was getting towed to and off I went. I thought I was well ahead of the tow truck but as soon as I arrived at the shop, which took no longer than 15 minutes to get there, I turned to check the street and here came the tow truck. Pulled into the driveway and he was so quick and efficient and the car was delivered to the shop. Not only is their tow business efficient, reliable, and quick but reasonably priced. Thank you Yelp people for sharing the service you received from the Tow Guys. My son wouldn't have found them if not for your reviews. So, I called Tow Guys who are about 20 miles from me and, they charged me less than half of what the other place did! Said a driver could be at my house around 8:30 which I thought was pretty quick. I purchased a complete vehicle as a parts car in which the seller stated it ran but with occasional transmission issues. Got the car but battery was beyond dead, more dead than what my little lithium battery powered jump starter could handle. Figured I'd call AAA since I've got the Premier plan so this tow home would be covered. Truck driver arrived 30 min later, and NOPE, apparently this is a "courtesy" tow as opposed to an "emergency" tow, which would NOT be covered since the car was not currently registered or insured. Apparently AAA doesn't do those anymore. I then called a towing company I recall seeing in one of the Facebook groups I'm in, and I'm quoted $190 for a 12 mile tow, but it'll be at least a 3 hour wait. Owner/dispatcher said he'd find out where his drivers are and will let me know. 30 minutes later and I still haven't heard back, and the wife was starting to get hangry. I finally find out that the driver was way out by Tucson and they wouldn't be able to come until 10:30 pm which was 7 hours later. Unfortunately, one of the front windows was open and with a dead battery I couldn't close it, and I just couldn't trust it left open as is until night time. While we were waiting to hear back on the location of the driver my wife found the Tow Guys on Yelp and was already in the middle of messaging Tony, who was very responsive and helpful. After finding out the first company wasn't going to work, my wife got a quote from Tony which was less than half what we were quoted from the first company. Not only that, as soon as we said ok Tony said the driver (Thomas) was en route. We hurried back from where we were about to grab something to eat 10 minutes away and minutes after we get back, Thomas arrives. I've had to get a few vehicles towed in my time (it's what you get when you have a bunch of old finicky German cars) and Thomas is the coolest tow truck driver I've ever met. Like, so cool we could be friends. He brings out this beast of a jump starter to try to jump start it so he could better line up the car. It starts, but the transmission issue pops up and is unable to be put into drive nor neutral. Thomas works his magic and is able to get it into neutral after a few minutes. A quick drive home and he's able to put it exactly where I need it to go. What started as a not so pleasant day turned out to be a great one. Easy and painless, as opposed to most times when you need a tow. I'm so glad the first company wasn't able to do the job so we were able to meet Thomas and we now have a "tow guy" we can trust, and everyone needs a tow guy they can trust! 10/10 would not hesitate to use them again, in fact I am planning on having them assist with future projects already ;) read more

The driver went above and beyond to help me push my dead car up the driveway and into the garage, awesome guys. Unfortunately they didn't send a flatbed with the first tow and the boom rubbed against the front fender, pushed it in, and caused damage to the fender. Contacted the owner and no response. We needed to have my daughter's car towed from one mechanic to another shop. Tow Guys was great to work with. Of the 7 or 8 tow places I tried to contact, only two picked up the phone or replied. The first quoted me $200, which seemed high for a 7-mile tow. The second was Tow Guys, who replied to the text option I used on their website and came in with an estimate of $80. They kept in good contact by text and arrived earlier than estimated. They got the car towed and charged exactly $80.
