The bad thing about a dead car is that you can't drive it. The good thing is that it can be fixed! I called Phoenix custom towing to get my non-starting car from my house to the dealership for servicing. Not only did they return my call quickly, but they were professional and friendly. The next morning they were on time and went above and beyond to help us. He let us know when the car got to the dealership and even had a contact for us at the dealership. Im saving this number in case I ever need towing again. read more

Today was about 113 degrees out. After waiting almost 5 hours for a different towing company through our insurance, we gave up. I called this company and Alex picked up the phone, gave him my info and he rescued us only 30 minutes later! Extremely professional, efficient and above all else SUPER KIND. Seriously he's the nicest guy! We saved his number for next time and will definitely go through him first. Don't waste your time calling anyone else...just call Alex! read more

Phoenix Custom Towing - Thank you Alex for rescuing us! - Roadside Assistance Near Me

Never had a great tow experience before, let alone a good one. That 100% changed for me today. A tough and embarrassing situation by getting my car stuck in a very crowded FashionSq Mall, was immediately turned around my Alex. Not only did he answer his phone within 2 rings, but on a Sunday late afternoon, Alex immediately came to my assistance. Within 45 min, he carefully pulled my car out of a ditch and sent me on my way. Alex was incredibly professional and very friendly. Phoenix Custom Towing will be the only tow company I recommend and will use... read more

Even if you have roadside assistance w/ your insurnace, consider calling these guys direct. Your insurance company will reimburse you, and you'll be taken care of way faster. owner owned and operated. When my car left me stranded on the side of the 202, my insurance company quoted 3-4 hours(!!). There was a storm rolling in, so i started googling and calling around on my own. Every major tow service had dispatchers that quoted 2+ hours that day as they said they all have contracts with insurance and police so those tows come before cash customers. So I turned from google.... instead to yelp. I called and left these guys a message. They called me back within about 10-15 mins.... Alex said he was already on the road and about 20 mins away. He asked me to send him a pin drop of my location. For the next 18 mins he kept sending me some updates and quickly I saw his flashers coming down the road. All I can say is when you call Alex.... there's no dispatchers.... it's straight the owner of the company. he's fast, professional, and runs a solid operation. I literally couldn't ask for more in a tow service. read more

Phoenix Custom Towing was great. The price was reasonable and he responded to my price request in less than 5 mins. He was constantly updating and communicating. When he had a delay he didn't make an excuse just let me know. When he got to me he was helpful, kind, friendly - apparently a Boys Scout Most of all quick, he got me to a service provider just before closing so I could get the help I needed! He was also concerned about me and the state of my vehicle. So glad I used Yelp to find Phoenix Custom Towing. Definitely one of those things you never want to need but good to know there are honest dependable people out there. Great job!!! read more

I would use this company again if I need a tow in the future. Alex answered my yelp request within 10 min and the next morning was there to tow my car to the shop. Fast, easy and very professional! Great job. read more

Phoenix Custom Towing - Roadside Assistance Near Me

I had the unfortunate luck to get a flat tire on the 101 coming home from work. With 5 crates of stuff in the back of my SUV (and of course the spare under there) I was on the side of the road unloading all the crates while I waited for my son to arrive to help me. Out of nowhere Alex Tellez pulls off in his tow truck to offer assistance. He had my tire changed before my son could even arrive. If this is how they treat non-customers I can only imagine their treatment of customers is PHENOMENAL!! Huge thank you Alex!!!! There is definitely only one company I will call should the need ever arise! Nice to know caring people are still out there! read more

This review is long overdue. Long story short, my fiancé flipped over in a kayak in the salt river and my keys ended up at the bottom of the river, yes she was fine. So I had to leave my car at phon d rec area overnight. My buddy big wave tried to be a brother and call AAA tow service the next day so I didn't have to pay a bunch of money for a super far tow to the volv dealership so I can get a new key made. Another long story short, AAA flipping blows, I guess big wave doesn't even have the premium coverage cuz he's poor.. So I hopped on Yelp and called one dude then another then I found this dude, so sorry I forget his name. This guy is such a brother! Just s freaking angel, complete opposite of AAA. He came to my spot, picked me up and we drove 30 miles back out to shitville east Mesa only so this dude could literally show me how to break into my own car! Obviously the legal way, he got the volv open in a few minutes, although it was a pain in the you know what. So this dude got my car on then we shipped it like 35 miles back west to the Volvo dealership and everything was golden. The dude literally charged me like 200 bones for honestly what was at least a 300 dollar job; such a brother move! Not kidding, I will never call another tow truck guy this guy is the Man! Awesome to have a tow truck connection cuz I lock myself out of my car or lose my keys and need a tow at least once a year, I'm super clumsy. If you need a tow, look no further! read more

Alex saved me!!! My side by side vehicle was stuck and we were not able to move it because the battery was dead and in our backyard at our house that we were moving out of. Since we had to be out by that same week, we had to call a towing company to tow it out. Other companies said they were not allowed to go in the backyard but this company said they could. He has such great prices and was on time and helped me very quickly. Will always use them! read more

Alex gives Towing a great reputation! I always avoid towing at all costs due to rude drivers and long wait times (8 hours to even 3/4 days) but Alex was very fast and responsive. He was honest about already helping a current customer but he said he would be there to help me in 20 min once he was done with his current job and sure enough he was right on time. Humble and hard working is the best way to describe Alex. I would give 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend! read more

Great experience having Phoenix Custom Towing tow my truck for service. Alex quoted me a good price and let me know when he would be available then provided regular updates on his way to collect the vehicle. Would definitely use them again for any towing needs in the area. read more

OMG! Highly recommend! He was affordable (10 mile tow), friendly, & kept in touch after Mesa PD called him. He towed the car to the shop, once there called to confirm it was the right place, and once he was done he called to confirm it was dropped off! GREAT service!!! read more

Alex responded quickly and was reasonably priced. He kept me updated on his progress and ETA. He arrived, knew what he was doing and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Gave a good reference for the shop we were going. He's my go to guy in my phone. Use him with confidence! read more

Quick service: from answering the phone to arriving on time and towing. 80$ got everything done in 1 hour.

Quick response when our sons car wouldn't start and he was across town from us. Alex was friendly and very responsive. Got our son and his car home safely. read more

My daughter's car would not go in reverse and I told her to call our traditional AAA service. I had been a member for more than 20 years and after 3 hours of waiting and nonsense I had had enough. I found Phoenix Custom Towing on Yelp and got an immediate response! Luckily Alex was in the area and was able to pick my daughter's car up in less than 30 minutes. Did I mention it was 110 that day, so we were super grateful for the quick response. He is so kind, picked up the car and dropped it off at the shop for repair. If you ever need quality service delivered in a timely manner call Phoenix Custom Towing!!! read more

Alex did a great job towing my BRZ to the dealership. He communicated what his ETA was, showed up when he said, and took great care when loading my car onto the tow truck, with extra attention because it's a sports car that sits lower than other cars. read more

Very prompt and professional, Alex was awesome and communicated every step of the way. I would recommend him for your towing needs!

I have a car that has been parked outside my house for a year. I wasn't sure if I should fix it, or donate it so I decided to take it to a shop first. I called several companies they couldn't towed my car because of how it was parked, special keys, and it wasn't drivable, etc. I called Alex and he told me "all things are possible". He was able to tow my car at a very reasonable price. He was friendly, patient and very professional!! I will always recommend, or call Alex if I ever need a towing company! He is probably the best towing company in Arizona. Two Thumbs Up!! read more

Upfront, honest, affordable and great customer service. Hey met me at my job and was quick and Not invasive. He brought my car to my mechanic and then sent me photos of where he put and confirmed it was in the correct place. Highly recommend read more

Had a blowout on the 101 heading home, tried the first place Google recommended, and they didn't serve the area I was in - so then I went to Yelp and called these guys. They gave me a quote (which sounded good), and they took about 30 minutes to get to me (they told me it would take this long, based on where I was). It was the owner (Alex) who showed up and was very knowledgeable about both cars and towing - I have a car that's relatively low to the ground, and he was very careful loading it on the flatbed so that nothing was damaged. Once we got back to my place, we even tried (to no avail) to fill the tire back up, but it was enough for me to get it back in my garage. Kind of funny, I never thought I would ever be writing a review about a towing company (at least a positive one), but really pleased with the service and would use him again in a heartbeat. read more

These guys are awesome. Timely which is extremely important but yet they go above and beyond to treat your car with respect. Will definitely recommend to anyone read more

Responsive and very helpful when I was stranded on the highway. Thank you so much Alex!

Just want to give a great shout out to Alex. Owner operator? The man was on time fast and reliable. He cares enough to find the care and make sure even though I was at drop off the someone was aware of the situation and would take care of my vehicle. 10out10 would recommend ! read more

i Walked out to our company truck this morning and unfortunately had a flat. I jumped on yelp and Phoenix custom towing was the first I saw and gave it a shot! Needless to say was very happy with my service! He was fast, friendly, and even made me Laugh which helped relieve some of the stress that came with the flat! Kept me updated the whole time! Really recommend this guy! read more

The only reason that they respond quickly is because they charge an outrageous amount of money for a tow, and then try to hustle for a couple bucks less if you pay cash so they don't have to report their earnings. read more

To begin with, I won't use anything but a flatbed truck for towing my car and that's exactly what they were able to provide. Alex was great. He was very helpful and very careful with my car. He was also fast to respond and his fee was the lowest out of several tow companies that I contacted. Hopefully, I won't need their towing service too often, but I'll certainly call them if I do and I highly recommend them to anyone else that needs a tow service. read more

I contracted with Alex to move my automobile over a year ago, and I am still waiting for him to tow my car. I was told he "had my back"... not true. He will lie to your face while putting up a charade! Please be aware of this con man! read more

I love supporting small businesses and Alex is one of the best of them! He was responsive, timely, and updated me regularly throughout the entire process. Other companies were 3-5 hours but Alex was there in 45 minutes! If you need a tow, Alex should be your first call! read more

Alex is a life saver! He was the very last person I called when my car decided to die in the middle of moving. It was such a relief to hear a friendly voice on the phone and get a decently priced quote to tow my car. He arrived promptly and was quick and efficient. He was able to maneuver the tow truck in a tight parking lot. He got me and my two dogs safely back home (and my car too, of course). Alex was a joy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable in a stressful situation. Thank you, Alex, for answering my call and being there when i needed help. I would 100 percent recommend Phoenix Custom Tow to anyone. read more

I highly recommend Phoenix Custom Towing. My truck stalled out on a freeway entrance during Friday afternoon traffic and I needed to get it to a shop before they closed for the weekend. I tried several nearby tow services and either got voicemail or told they were backed up for hours. Alex answered my call and headed my way immediately, arriving within the 30-45 minutes he estimated. He was prompt, courteous, and careful in loading and unloading the vehicle. And his pricing was very reasonable for a flatbed tow on the highway during traffic. If I find myself in need of a tow again, Alex will be my first call! read more

We had all four of our tires go flat and Alex came to our rescue. He was quick to respond and made us a priority. He even waited patiently as we scrambled to find a tire shop still open. And made sure we weren't stranded. Great customer service, reasonable prices. I definitely recommend Phoenix Custom Towing. Thanks Alex!!! read more

I worked with Alex, who was polite, responsive, and on time. I needed to tow a badly damaged SUV from Tempe to Mesa. Alex met me and my friend at the impound lot, loaded the SUV on his flatbed, and met us at a scrap yard where I sold it. It was a sad day for me (I loved my CRV) but Alex was a bright spot in it. Lastly, his price was competitive and even a little less expensive than I'd anticipated. (and he wore a NYY cap). Thanks Alex!! read more

I'm a busy professional and was impressed with the communication in answering my questions thru the Yelp app. Alex (owner) was professional, courteous, friendly and reliable! Not only that, I needed our truck parked in a weird spot...he's got talents!! I'm convinced he can open up a soda can with his rig! He got it parked just right in the exact spot where we wanted it too. Well priced services too. Highly recommended! Glad I found him on yelp! Thank you! read more

I called Phoenix Custom Towing for a flat tire i got just after getting out of work. Since I am no expert with changing to a spare, I looked up tow services and Phoenix Custom was the first result. Response time is correct! They were in Tempe and i was just off of Dobson & Baseline. He made it there in 20 minutes, got the car up on the tow bed and off we went to Discount Tire. Price was reasonable, about $65 but for the response time and being stuck in a rut, I really can't complain. Friendly guy too just can't remember his name. I would highly recommend if you don't feel like waiting two hours for the other guys! read more

Alex responded to my quote request within just a couple of minutes. He was there within 15 minutes loading up my car at almost 10:00pm. A car breaking down is always frustrating, but I was really grateful for his prompt service and the price was way cheaper than I thought it would be! Thanks again! read more

If you are looking for a great service and reasonable fees than call this towing company and I promise you won't Regret it

Car had 2 flat tires and was blocking traffic. Police officer said if I didn't get a tow truck soon she would have to have their company tow. I spoke with Alex at Phoenix Custom Towing and initially it was going to be 60 minutes. I let him know the situation and he made it there in 35 minutes. All on a Sunday evening! read more

They asked us to fill out an online form for quote. We did. 4 hours later they called and said the guy showed up and we owed them. I was at the house, no one showed. Plus I have video motion sensors that shows no one came. Plus they were going to just give us a quote and claim they came rang the bell. What bunch of crooks. read more
