I'm so grateful to have found AZ Automaster on Yelp! Initially, I got a quote to replace the engine oil pan to fix a severe oil leak after getting an oil change from another shop. They claimed that the engine pan needed to be replaced due to a stripped drip plug, but I'm not sure if they caused it or if it's just a coincidence, given that my car is a 2000 CRV. After comparing quotes and reading their excellent reviews, I chose AZ Automaster. Just a couple of hours after dropping off my car, Phil called to inform me that they could fix the leak without replacing the engine oil pan, and at a fraction of the cost! He assured me that it would be a permanent fix, not just a temporary solution. And sure enough, it's been two days since I got my car back, and there's no leak in sight! Her vicious review is not consistant with my experience and the experience of many others on this platform, and others. This business is fair, honest and trustworthy. I used to run a shop years ago. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE I paid them for repairs and a diagnostic. They misdiagnosed my car and put bad batteries in it and are now saying that I'm harassing them because since the day after my car, it was still having the same issues and even more electrical issues. The owner will sit there and tell you that if you're trying to get them to replace what they've done wrong or fix it that you're harassing them. The day after I got my car back from this shop it was having major electrical issues and still the same banging. Mind you when I brought my vehicle into them. I told them it was my transmission because I've had a previous van like this where the transmissions gone out and it's very clear that it was the transmission. They put bad batteries in my car which have now made my alternator go out because it made my alternator work just as hard. They have no integrity and their liars. I asked for them to get a rental car in the meantime while they fix my car because the transmission is completely gone out in it and he's acting like he's not going to do it because I told him this is bullshit . After months and months of complaining here, we are in the next year and I'm still complaining about the vehicle and they haven't done anything . He's now trying to say that these issues are not his fault and even if they installed bad batteries, it would be under warranty. Then why if I complain the following day that they not fix it and take it back in? He's very rude very degrading And now the only way I can get this resolved this through court in the Better Business Bureau . If they make a mistake, they will not fix it. They will act like you're crazy and delusional and like you have no clue what you're talking about. Then wants to lie and say that his staff members were crying because I said that it's BS for it to be this long in these issues they're still not resolved. Mike is a horrible person and a horrible businessman. Do not bring your car here if you want it properly fixed. !!!!! They acted like they were gonna fix it and Keith got sick so he had to leave which is understandable but then he should've made someone else aware of these issues so that months later I'm still not trying to get it fixed . Affordable and even offers price match on services if quoted lower from other mechanics. I received the expected service in the time estimated for it to be completed. Offer courtesy shuttle if you don't want to wait for the service to be completed . They have a wonderful waiting room with TV, snacks and beverages. My alternator in my Camry started dying on Sunday. I sent out quote requests on Yelp for the surrounding area and AZ Automasters was responsive and let me know they do price matching, as well as having a 2 year warranty. They told me to bring my car in at 11am today and that it would take about an hour- they even offered to bring me back home instead of waiting (which was generous but I am never sad about missing Teams calls. ) They have an extremely big, clean, comfortable waiting area with cozy furniture, free beverages, easily displayed WiFi network/password for customers. They did it in an hour and there were no surprises. They topped off my fluids and checked my air pressure too. The two employees that I talked to were extremely nice, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Nobody tried to upsell me on anything I don't need, they just did exactly what I needed, delivered on the timeline they promised, and made the whole thing unbelievably non-stressful. 10/10, I absolutely recommend AZ Automasters if you need to have any repair work done to your car. I moved to this side of the Valley not long ago and didn't know of any reliable place to take my car. Luckily, I found AZ Automasters and now both myself and my son take our cars there whenever we need anything done. Most recently, I needed a window regulator replaced and while it was there, they identified a radiator issue so I could get that repaired and not end up stranded on the side of the freeway. Keith, Jessi, and everyone else there are always really friendly and reliable and they get the work done quickly at a very fair price. I contacted AZ Automasters after my car dealer suggested some very expensive engine and transmission mounts. I was looking to save some money and find an alternate solution (and confirm my car "really" needed this repair). Keith and Jessi answered my questions thoroughly and explained they would do a diagnostic to confirm. Turns out I didn't need that particular repair. My car had given me some "codes" and engine light came on. They replaced solenoid and wiring harness. No more codes and my baby is purring. Sorry for the late review! I got a thank you letter in the mail that reminded me. My brakes were making noise a while back so I took my Honda Civic in for service. They got me in nice and quick so that I didn't have to miss work or damage my car. They diagnosed what the issue was and found that I rode them a bit too long and messed up a rotor and some of the threads or lugs were stripped. I kind of suspected more than a basic brake job since they already made noise. They quickly called me as I went somewhere to get food while I waited and informed me. They were able to do the extra repairs plus what I originally brought it in for quickly and without any hassle or rescheduling necessary. Overall a great experience and they were forward, and honest about the additional parts and repairs. The staff was friendly and knowledgable and they even gave other areas a quick peek while the car was lifted and said the rest of the car looks great. People often skip simple courtesies like this and will leave obvious issues alone since it wasn't requested. THAT is the kind of mechanics and employees I am looking for whether it's someone working on my stuff or as one of my coworkers. Finally a quality shop that is not only knowledgeable but extremely fair and open booked. I was looking around for a shop that would do my ATI Super Damper for my 2007 Corvette for so long now and yes most shops can do harmonic balancers however it is more difficult on the corvettes due to various reasons. They not only knew my exact concerns but they knew exactly how to take care of this issue seeing as they have done a tremendous amount of corvette modifications and maintenance procedures. My 18-year-old son and I are new to the area and when we realized his car needed some work done(hood release cable replacement), we weren't sure where to go. We found AZ Automasters through a Google search for shops in the area, and I'm really glad we did. Not only were they quick with a quote, but the repair was done the next day and at an extremely fair price. A couple other shops gave me son quotes that were much, much higher than AZ Automasters and I assume it's because he's a kid and they think he doesn't know any better. AZ Automasters treated him respectfully, just like he's another customer and didn't try to pull a fast one on him or upsell him on work that "needed" to be done. There's a reason this place has killer reviews and a high BBB score. I've been coming here for over two years and will never look at another place again. There have been times when they've quoted me a price, only to call me back after the repairs to tell me something wasn't as bad as they thought initially and instead of charging me to replace the part, they simply realized the part was just loose, tightened it up, and took the charge off the bill. They will go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied. They're completely honest, which sadly is rare among car repair shops, and they're all very friendly and approachable. I don't know much about cars, and they are more than happy to explain what needs to be done and why, in simpler terms without making you feel like you should know this stuff. They also price match and provide military discount - go here and don't look back. Also for the guy that gave them a crappy review and stated that they "hired a lady" for the front desk - I'll bet Jesse knows more about how to take care of your car than you do pal. read more
