Pulled into Fry's and heard air leaking from one of my tires and found a large screw in it. Went to Discount and there was a two hour wait which was not feasible with a one year old in tow. Went in last week and scheduled an appointment at Apache Tire for Monday, Nov 17th at 9:30am. Should take a solid two hours for a Brake Fluid Flush and an Alignment. No problem. I plan My day around them. I arrive about 30 minutes early and check in. One Hour and forty five minutes after they started working on my car, it comes off the rack and driven over to the alignment rack. I walk over to the counter where I get no type of acknowledgment. So I walk out to my car and ask if they were just now getting to the alignment. If so. I do not have time for it. I need to go. No response or acknowledgment from any of the three employees. I walk back inside and wait for the paperwork to pay for what they did do. Counter person asked the mechanic, Bad parts? (meaning, why no alignment was done). I said I don't have anymore time for this. With all the attitude he could mustard up, asks me, what time was your appointment? I answered, 9:30, It is 11:15, they can do an alignment in 15 minutes? Says nothing as he totals my bill and starts talking to himself about baking a cake? No apology, sorry it took so long, we're swamped, tech is sick, we are short a tech. Nothing. Like it's my fault I watch the tech walking around the shop like he was on cruise during social hour. Never again will any of my vehicle come near them. read more

These at AJ tires guys just went above and beyond to get my Sprinter van back on the road after a certain discounted tire shop (not one in AZ) stripped some threads and messed up big time. These guys pulled together and solved some tough rotor/lug/wheel problems and made it happen same day for me. I blew one of my tires out after hitting a piece of metal in the road late one evening and needed to have it towed. Thankfully I remembered I had Apache Tire & Service patch a tire before so I asked the tow company to bring my car there. I was flying home in two days and worried that I wouldn't be able to take care of this before I left. Apache Tire had all four of my tires (AWD, so I needed to) replaced with new ones by 4:30 on the same day. The price was reasonable and everyone was very friendly. My car was in perfect condition mechanically before I brought my vehicle in. I came in for an alignment and I left the place with issues, a small leak appeared, my steering rack boot was all twisted, and a bolt connected to my control arm was very very lose. I just stopped in for information on a tire and my car ran out of gas in the parking lot. The staff gave me a ride to a gas station (twice) and when the car wouldn't start after adding gas. They troubleshot the problem to a mesquite tree flower in my air intake. When it was all said and done some 30 minutes later they told me no charge for the help! I can't thank them enough for the great customer service ever know I wasn't really a customer. I definitely will be from now on!! read more

This is the only place I go for tires and maintenance on my truck. They are friendly, honest and reasonably priced. I few times I have had to have them install bulbs, wipers that I bought on line and then didn't have time or couldn't get it done on my own so I had them install them for a reasonable fee. Bummed they are closed on Saturday now. I work in Gilbert until 4 and it takes at least 20 min to get to the shop from work but they are always willing to squeeze me in when I call for an appointment. Great guys and ethical business! I've been coming here since it was Big O tires back in the day. I've gotten so much more done here besides tires. James the owner is one of the nicest business owners in the valley. He even stayed late one time to fix a tire for me. Mike is also at the counter a lot, good guy very professional and honest. It doesn't matter if it's me or my wife here they treat us the same. I've seen other women come in alone and not get talked down to like I've seen at other shops. I trust these guys with my daughters car. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Had a really positive experience here getting my blower motor replaced. I wasn't sure what to expect coming to an auto repair shop I hadn't been to before- I looked up the average cost for the service beforehand so I wouldn't be surprised. The shop gave me a lower estimate and ended up lowering it even more when they were able to complete the fix quicker, which to me really stood out in terms of being honest and having integrity. This joint is shady. I took my vehicle in about a year ago for an alignment as my tires were worn badly on the outside. After the tech inspected the vehicle, James the counter guy, explained to me the pitman arm was shot and needed to be replaced. I bought new tires, had the pitman arm replace and had the vehicle aligned. A year later the outside of the tires are worn out again. Luckily for them and despite having a system that keep tracks of all their inventory, they DON'T keep track of the work they do. They have no record of the repair and therefore have no responsibility to make it right. Handy. Part of my frustration was his complete lack of caring, this guy could have given two squats that I'd paid an additional $700 that had not corrected the problem. Seems like he may have been here once or twice before. Edit: It just gets better. During the conversation James the counter guy explained to me they had been doing it this way for 25 years but he was trying to get the new owner to switch over to a newer syste. That's amazing because after just a little research I've uncovered that James Pearce, the fellow I was talking to is listed as the owner. I won't be going back, obviously, and I hope a few folks catch this review and take their business elsewhere. read more

My tire had a Puncture from An apparent Mesquite thorn, those nasty 2" long ones on the tree from my neighbor. It poke into the area questionable by the tread & sidewall of my tire. I went to the "Big" tire shop that was a dealer of the brand of tire I have. They checked it out & said "Sorry we can't fix that & you'll have to by another tire". I said "but it's a new tire, less than a year old." Evidently punctures are covered by the warranty. I was recommended by a friend to try Apache Junction Tire service. They said they'd gladly look at it and let me know if it can be fixed. I stopped in & within 5 mins. They had it on the rack checking it out. About a month ago, we took our Benz to a Benz dealership to get our trunk fixed. It would not open. After a few days the Benz advisor told us the only way they could fix it was to break the back light to get in. They even Googled to see if there was a way to fix it and came up with NOTHING. We decided to go somewhere else as we were not interested in a company breaking our vehicle to fix something nor were we interested in a company that felt they had to Google a way to fix a vehicle they specialize in. We had been going to Chandler Benz dealership for many years and never have we had an issue so we told the guy we will either go there or somewhere else. Yesterday, my husband got a flat, was stranded and needed it towed to our tire shop because we could not get in to our trunk to get the spare. The tire shop we went to not only put tires on our car the next day but they were able to get in to our trunk. They scheduled to fix the mechanism and without having to break anything. We salute "James" and his team at AJ Tire and Service in Apache Junction. They were down to earth and offered to fix it right away. He definitely seemed a lot more concerned about our safety than this other place. read more
