It basically was causing the tire to leak. Came here early in hopes we could get it resolved as we are on a Cross Country trip from San Francisco to Florida and we had my car in tow. Who performed a coolant leak pressure test without my consent and caused my water pump to start leaking. When I brought vehicle in, I told Brian to check the radiator hose connected to thermostat housing and let me know if it is leaking! That's it!! Not to perform leak pressure check. Upon questioning Brian why he did this, he told me it was an Industry Standard to perform Pressure Leak test without Getting Customer Approval!!! Then he presented a Cooling System service estimate of 2700.00 to repair his Pressure Leak Test damage to my Water Pump! Again, will discuss situation with Douglas Zivelonghi Store Manager to see if he will offer to make situation right!!! But I will continue to file Complaint's and bad reviews on BBB website, Website of location of Firestone Store on 1553 S Crismon, Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tock websites! They replaced the drum and brake shoes. The car ride home was great so I believe they solved it. I did not know that it is illegal in the United States to surcharge a debit card but found out in time for me to inform Network Automotive. They said they would charge my debit card the 2% fee. Out of caution, I used my credit card and took the hit because my card will back up any problems should they arise related to the work. I am in touch with Attorney General Kris Mayes office to investigate this. Per the Federal Law, they can add surcharge to credit, but not debit cards. Stay tuned because if I see surcharges on debit cards with any other merchant, I will turn them in.
