I haven't always had the greatest experience with Goodyear locations, but I have to give credit where credit is due. I was actually getting an oil change at the Valvoline location next-door, and wanted to get my tires rotated. I have a 2021 Ford bronco, and unfortunately, Valvoline lifts couldn't accommodate a truck of my size. But I noticed the goodyear next-door seem to have some open slots in their bays so I walked over to ask if they could potentially accommodate my request. I had a nail in the front right tire and knew that I needed to rotate the spare on until I got the nail removed and the tire fixed. Not only did they rotate the tires for me, but they checked out the tire with the nail in it, and informed me that that Tire was not going to be repairable. So the salesman also pulled an estimate up on how much the tire would cost for me to order, as tires for Ford Broncos are not usually stocked by most tire shops. After giving me the estimate, and taking care of my rotation, they sent me on my way, without any charge. Definitely appreciate the level of service and the value! read more

My Hyundai Ioniq needed to shed its factory tires and get some new rubber so after weeks of agonizing research and comparison shopping I found myself at Goodyear.com. I plugged in the year, make and model of my car and it popped up with several different tire options for my car. I picked one of the options, snagged a warranty, a wheel alignment then checked out all within 10 minutes . The website was very easy to use and check out was simple . (Big O and Discount Tire take note !). I used Apple Pay so I didn't even have to give my credit card info . It was a no nonsense transaction and I got a screaming deal compared to those other places. An hour later I was at Goodyear getting new tires installed on my car while I was sitting in their waiting area talking to a guy that travels the country with a chicken named Gladys Kravitz . It was awesome. Goodyear has great pricing on their tires and they're warrantied for 80k miles. The other tire shops were 1/4 that mileage and the pricing was outrageous. I'm stoked ! read more

I came in today for an oil change and tire rotation and had a genuinely great experience. The staff was kind, professional, and welcoming - especially D'Angelo, who went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Also an oil change and tire rotation in less than 45 minutes? Incredible! It's honestly hard to find quality, trustworthy auto care in this area, and Goodyear Auto Service was a breath of fresh air. I felt taken care of and respected as a customer, which unfortunately is not the norm (especially as a woman visiting a mechanic). Called and ordered tires. Spoke to Ken. The tires I wanted were raised white lettering (OWL). He had to order them. Called back and spoke to Paulie and he told me I could come in on Thursday at 1:00 to have them installed. I drove 30 minutes only to find out that the tires sent to them were not OWL and they haven't been in stock for six months. According to Ken. I honestly love that I found this shop, I am a young female and I have for sure ran into shops that either didnt take me serious or they were rude and over priced everything but this shop has made me feel safe to return when I need to, they ACTUALLY fixed my thermostat unlike the last place I went to that had it break 3 times I was fed up and came here and they not only are super friendly and trust worthy but they work fairly fast! I always put off going to car repair facilities by myself because I always feel like a male is going to take advantage of me since I'm a young female. This place had good reviews and I thought I was getting taken care of well by the gentlemen who was helping me but I was completely wrong about this place and the employee. The employee offered me things knowing I didn't need it and it wouldn't benefit me. He then lied about pricing and discounts he was offering me. He went over all the prices and discounts and come to find out when I got home and looked at the receipt the pricing was wrong and there was no discounts added. I feel like I was taken advantage and lied to and I will never feel comfortable or safe going here again. So upsetting. read more

I highly recommend this place, I did make an appointment ahead of time and I do recommend possibly calling ahead to see how long the wait is before coming in if you are on a time constraint. The staff here is super kind, especially Ken. I waited in the office with them while I got the oil changed and tires rotated and I witnessed great customer service with every customer that walked in or called. This is ridiculous. I used to go to the other Goodyear in the east valley. They were good once - emphasis on the past tense. I kept going to them out of convenience but today I chose my dignity over convenience and drove over to this Goodyear in Gilbert. It was worth it. I felt bad and didn't want to drag my boyfriend all the way out here so I chose to hang out in the waiting area while the good guys at the Gilbert Goodyear did a routine oil change. I came prepared and brought an ample number of things to do for the hour I was gonna be waiting. My appointment was at 5PM. I was out on the road, on my way home at 5.27PM. I almost had to pinch myself to remind myself it was real. An oil change. In under half an hour. It can be done. The sales manager told me two guys were working on it so I didn't have to wait for too long. Thanks, guys. :) All in all, very nice and more importantly, hassle-free experience. Scheduled my appointment online in the morning, came in for my same-day appointment, very pleasant staff/mechanics who all seem to work well together, no upselling, extremely courteous, and did I mention crazy efficient? Forget convenience, this is my Goodyear now. read more

This has been our one stop shop for years for reasonable prices. Unfortunately with staff turn over, the expected service is not great anymore. After having my cabin filter changed here today, I found my glove box broken and no longer closing the way it used to when I couldn't open the box when I went to put things back into the compartment. When asking for it to be checked, they reported they had difficulty in opening and getting the glove box out to put the filter in and apologized. They however do not plan on making any accommodations to repair what they broke. Stating "it just sticks and you need to give it a little tug and wait for the springs on the sides to deploy. it's not worth the hassle to replace." Beware of your services here. It may be a cheaper alternative to the dealer, but the accountability and reliability has gone down hill.. read more

On top of customer service being so poor, I am so frustrated with the overall service of this place. Came here about a year ago to get my AC "fixed"... Paid $400 something for them to put new Freon and recharge. When I brought my car back this time around, Scott(??) wanted to charge me again to do the same procedure...I left. I came back after calling and speaking with a man who said any prior service is covered under warranty. Dropped my car off at 8:30am and heard nothing until I called around 1pm... said he would call me back, never did. I called again around 3pm and was told their machine was unable to do what it needed to do to drain the Freon and he was waiting for an email to see if there was a way around this??? By this time nothing had been done, no one reached out to me and I picked up my car around 5:30pm with no exchange of words other than, "I'll call if I get a response". How is this what "warranty" covers?? I would much rather have a refund and forget I ever stopped at this place. What a waste of my time for nothing to be resolved. There is little to NO communication and it seems like nobody here knows what they are doing. I've never left a bad review on anything but felt compelled to share my frustration with the experience I've endured at this place. Please...Do better, not for me because I won't be back, but for the unfortunate ppl that come across this scam of a business. read more

Good company and helpful. Brought my vehicle in twice, one for electrical and another for brakes. Jeep died while on the road twice, so it was towed into their shop, after sitting and them running diagnostics nothing was found, they said couldn't find anything - no charge - it has been running fine. Second time was Jeep front brakes , ICONIC Goodyear across the street told me 3 mm left on the pad provided me a cost of that, along with a bunch more repairs, total $750. Brought it into this Goodyear, they said 6 mm left on the pads, don't really need to be done ..we noticed squeaking..they said they would drive it and if the noise bothers us to bad they can do the brakes and turn the rotors for $160. So no charge and the squeaking is gone. Go to this shop , not ICONIC Goodyear at 703 W. Ray Road where they are looking for ways to charge you. read more

Warning to all part time Rideshare drivers, Flower delivery, Cake delivery and anyone doing anything on the side part time. Stay clear of this place. March 17, 2020 around noon time. I stopped into this Goodyear Center to have my break squeak checked out after this same Goodyear Center did a complete front brake job just several weeks prior. New brake calipers, pads, and Rotors. I've used them for years. I told the manager on duty my right front started squeaking and I wanted it checked while my parts were still under warranty as they just did my brakes last month. During our conversation I mentioned I was doing some Rideshare on the side. The manager's eye's lit up and he went off on me. He said no way would they warranty any parts or work if i'm doing Rideshare. I smiled and said no problem i'll fix the brakes myself as i'm good at this also. So, simply driving my car as normal they won't warranty their work. Too bad, as I've used them for years. Stay clear of this place as they don't stand behind their work or their parts. I called in and said I wanted to schedule an oil change for the following day. The guy on the phone said not to worry about it and to just bring the car in. Sure enough, the next day I come in and I'm told that unless I have an appointment it's a five hour wait. I said I can't wait that long and I tried to make an appointment yesterday but the guy on the phone assured me an appointment wasn't necessary. The guy behind the counter told me he's been having an issue with an employee not scheduling appointments and other customers have had the same complaint. I appreciate the honesty but this is unacceptable. I did my part and called a day in advance to schedule and now you've wasted my time all because somebody didn't want to do his job. read more

Had to have our car towed in because it wouldn't start. We'd never been to this shop before but it's close to home. It worked out great! They determined it was just a dead battery (can't remember how old the old battery was) but they put in a new one, came and picked up my husband to pick up our car. They didn't try to sell us additional services or products. We will definitely go back for future service. read more

We've used this center for a couple of tire patches in the past, which to our surprise they did for free, and we had never been a customer or had Goodyear tires. When the time came for new tires this was my first choice due to that service. Plus the previous two experiences had been easy and straight forward. Not trying to sell us new tires when we still had a bit of life in the old ones, etc. Everyone is friendly and made the process easy from scheduling a time to come in, to having the car ready when we required it for school pickups. read more

If there was a "zero" star option, I would pick it. I dropped my son's car off at Goodyear on Ray & Cooper last week. I had an appointment for an axle repair, alignment and oil change. I have only used Goodyear because I followed Larry, the mechanic there, for over 30 years. Great mechanic, this isn't about him. The work was done, my son went in to pick up his car and the key fob was in several pieces. Someone had handwritten on his invoice that the keys were dropped off this way. NO WAY, I was there. Would the manager, Brian really check in a car if the fob was in pieces? Doubt it, and if so, he should have noted it on the original paperwork. I get the phone call from my son and we talk to the lady in the office. They never admitted to damaging the key. We settle up the bill, WITH NO DISCOUNT FOR DAMAGE. They told me to make an appointment at a Mitsubishi dealership and have them fix it and they would pay for it. Fast forward to the appointment. 3.5 hours out of my day for the key repair and not an apology or a call back from Goodyear. Before I see Goodyear customer service reply to this review, I already called your 800 # and talked to someone there for a half hour who said the District Manager, Scarlett would call me right away. That was Monday the 6th. Still no call. No apology and no compensation for my time or trouble. I will be calling Citibank / Goodyear to challenge this invoice. The kicker to all of this, after they never admitted to damaging the key fob......my son leaves to leave the shop and the car won't start! They had to get a mechanic to come out and turn the steel part of the key with pliers, since it wasn't turning to start the car. THEN, the car still wouldn't start without the fob close enough to connect for the connection to the computer. I guess this blows the "key was brought in this way" theory. I will never go back to this location and probably never another Goodyear, if there is another option. The inside office employees were rude and never helped resolve this issue. Jennifer from corporate was helpful and couldn't believe that Brian, the manager never called or apologized. The district manager must have been very busy the last 6 days to never return a call.............. read more

I asked if the tires were made in the U.S.A. and they could not tell me, they said I would have to have the trie in hand. I found the info on their site while I was on the phone with the store and The picture of the tire I wanted to buy said it was made in the U.S.A. so I ordered them. I went to the store to have them installed I did not have access to the tires and I forgot to ask when I got there. When done I drove off and a few blocks away I remembered. Stopped and checked and nope made in Chilli. Well bad on me for not remembering to check or ask. Also I guess a sale is more important than helping a customer buy what they are looking for. read more
