Service Requested 5/5 We stopped due to TPS indicator on LF tire. After visiting their SE Mesa location for a tire loosing air quickly we were informed there would be a four hour wait. They were good enough to call our Hampton home store and confirmed their wait time was only two hours. They filled our tire and sent us in our way. Shortly after arivingvat our Hampton store we were met promptly, nail in tire issue confirmed; our new 2025 KIA Telluride with less than 800 miles needed repair or possible replacement.,with car checked in we made our way next door to the Sizzler Steakhouse for a long lunch. Value 5/5 We've been Discount customers for a few decades at the 18th st and Camelback location until moving to Mesa at the Hampton store. Free repairs and balancing are advantages of being a Discount customer. Went in because my check air light came on. Young man who checked and added air could not have been more polite. He let me know that my tires in the front needed replacing. Recently got laid off from my job so that was not good news. Went online and found tires I could afford. Paid in advance, booked my appointment. Another nice and professional employee called and asked if I'd like to come in a day earlier as my pre purchased tires had arrived. Went in and within 20 minutes I was out with new tires. These folks working at this location were all very professional, nice, and took great care. They treated me very well and I will be back!!! read more

I bought my tires here a while ago and it was time to get the TPMS on all four tires are placed. The service I got was getting my TPMS replaced. I only had one out, but I highly recommend replacing all four at the same time. These guys were on point on the ball got things going got my truck in and out as quickly as possible. I went to Discount Tire for a tire rotation. I had a 9:15 am appointment. There was already a bunch of people sitting in the lobby. There were 4 guys working at desks, but only one of them was helping a customer. I waited for about 5 minutes while the guys at their desks finished up paperwork or something. Then, I get called up. I told them I have an appointment. I wasn't told that there was a long wait ahead of me or anything, so I took a seat. The guy went to my car and checked my tires. Then, left my key in the car with the doors unlocked. I kept checking on my car to see if it was moved and after 45 minutes of it sitting in the same parking spot, I asked one of the guys how much longer it would be. I explained I had to work today. He said probably another 30 minutes. He said other people had the same appointment time. Yet, I saw some people come in after me that were being helped and sent on their way before me. I was not happy and considered leaving, but I already waited that long. After an hour and twenty minutes, they finally pulled my car back to rotate my tires. It took them 10 minutes at most. I had gone to the bathroom and by the time I was done they were putting my hubcaps back on. I wondered if they actually rotated my tires! They pulled my car around and I walked out to my car where they handed me my key with very dirty hands. Why did I bother to make an appointment? How were they this far behind when they were barely open for an hour by the time I got there? Why were people being helped after I checked in and already sent on their way before my car was done? Do they take emergency situations before tire rotations? Why don't the guys have to wash their hands before getting in my car and driving it or put some sort of plastic down like they used to? It was very disappointing. I understand tire rotations are free and probably not a priority, but I did buy my tires from them and an appointment time should be honored. That's not the way to treat customers. My time is valuable too and I barely made it to work on time. Maybe it's time to move on and find better customer service. Update: I heard back from Kyle and was told to click on the link to complete a survey about my experience. The link does not lead to anything and doesn't work. If they want a review, then they should send a valid link or instructions that will include how to access it. read more

The line is a minimum of nine cars deep at opening. They have you wait in this line and then bring you into the last bay of the shop to put air in your tires. It is taking approximately 4 to 5 minutes per vehicle to put air in their tires. Yes, the value is awesome! They check your tires and give you air without ever getting out of your car. I feel like there's a more efficient way to do this since many discount tires have the ability to get them in and out much quicker. I think this location is lacking Time management. read more

I have always been loyal to customers for Discount tires because their customer service but Logan went out of his way to help me out. He really did help me out. earlier this year my son was in the ICU for a TBI and now he is somewhat back to his normal routine. But his hospital stay kinda killed my finances a bit, but Logan helped me out and said some caring words. I don't know if it's just discount training or really him. First time ever at this discount tire. I've used discount for all my tire needs. This is the first time I had to deal with a high pressure sales person. I just need a front tire replace due to extreme wear on the inside. Price of the one tire was $187. He asked me what if I can get you into four for $277. I told him I can't make the decision since it's a company truck. He kept pressuring me to talk to the person who could make the decision. After I got the bill, there were added charges that I didn't ask for such as the certificate for replacement. I should have been asked for this charge. This still won't dissuade me from using Discount. Just not this one read more

When I walked in, I was not greeted and was waiting. Then some other guy walked in and he was helped before me until I said something I went to get my tire sensors checked in to get my tires checked. They did a good job getting the sensor fixed, the light has been off. It was fast quick And easy customer service was nice and they were very respectful and helpful but when coming back in they almost somebody else before me as well that came in after so they just need to make sure to check in line otherwise everything else was great read more

I've used this store numerous times over the years for our vehicle's tire needs, and keep coming back for more. This month I had all the tires replaced on two cars and the prices were as to be expected and the service relatively good. It's a very busy place, so I shopped and paid on line and scheduled appointments for the installation, and each car took about an hour. There was a minor glitch on the second car when they didn't reset the TPM system and I had to go back in and ask them to take care of it. They responded quickly and were able to reset the system and adjust the pressure in all the tires. No big deal, but it did require an extra trip. This is a real assembly line sort of place and the staff up front try to make it more congenial and "human", which is appreciated. Free rotations and their other perks are a good deal also. We'll be back in another 45k miles! read more

Decided to stop here to get my air pressure checked in my 2004 Subaru Forester after going to the store. Funny thing is, while I was waiting in the aircheck lane, I heard a technician call out "It looks like someone who worked at Discount!" and I actually did work at AZP32 for almost a year haha. When I pulled into the aircheck bay, I requested 34 psi in all 4 tires and Jacob went above and beyond to meet this request. He even took a look at my left front tire, which was at 19 psi, the lowest of them all (the rest were at around 27/28 psi). Although nothing was found, even after checking the valve stem and outer bead, I'll likely be returning to this location to get it further examined and possibly repaired. Thank you very much Jacob and thank you to the Discount Tire team! Keep it up! PS: One of the techs yelled out "Rev it!" while I was backing out so I gave it a couple revs (I have an aftermarket catback exhaust lol). Always love the enthusiasm there! read more

Lying in the past or lying now? This is a difficult review to write. My family has been using this Power & Hampton Discount Tire since they opened.(Lived here since before the Mall 30+ years). They have always been fair and honest, even when they messed up a tire pressure sensor and the tire was flat before I got halfway home. (Live half a mile from the store). But this time they have gone too far. Some time about 2021 we got a screw in a tire on our Outback. Put air in it and drove to the Discount Tire store. They advised us we had two choices because the screw was too close to the side wall to safely repair. 1. Replace the tire and have it ground down to match the size of the other three tires, or 2. Buy four new tires. Grinding the tire would take a day or two. We decided to replace all four and later buy a new tire and have it ground down when it was convenient. They put 4 tires on and bagged the three tires and we put them in our garage. Skip ahead of time until now and the tires are wearing thin so my wife took the three tires to the store to get the thread measured so they could get a new tire and grind it. They told her they could do it today and put a new tire on the car. When she got home I looked at it and it was not ground down. (This will damage the transmission) So, the next day she asked them about it and they told her it didn't need to be ground down. She went to another Discount Tire store and got a different story but they said they couldn't grind the tire. (This was after she called them and they told her they could) So, did they lie back in 2021 or are they lying now? There are more details but the bottom line is that I can no longer trust Discount Tires. Very sad, because I've always liked them. Now I will have to go to the dealer and get the tire fixed. Wanted me to come in see what we can do for ya! Didn't do nothing but try to sell me another warranty. And wanted to get data off my tires for his future records. Stopped here for an air check and waited over an hour before it was even my turn. There were only 4 cars ahead of me when I pulled up. The person working the lane took 20+ minutes with each car. I always go to Discount (a different location) for my tires and air checks and it has NEVER taken this long. When it was my turn, she insisted on collecting a bunch of info about my car and getting contact info for me (that Discount should already have since my tires are from here). Horrible experiences with this particular location. Twice they have cracked the center cap on a wheel. Replaced one and didn't screw it in tight enough and fell off on a trip. Took my truck in to get tires rotated and it was discovered that they had cross threaded a nut so bad that they had to refer me to another auto shop to get it off. Would not recommend anyone taking their vehicle to this particular location. read more

The person in the straw hat doing Air Checks today that position may not be the best fit for Discount. She took 35 MINUTES to air up tires for 1 (one) vehicle. I almost called in to ask if the car was having issues because at one point she was just standing there not doing ANYTHING. Once it was finally my turn I had been waiting for an HOUR. I think someone with a quicker pace who doesn't want to talk your ear off would be a better fit. I cannot express enough what wonderful service I received at Discount Tire! As a retired 70 year old woman with my husband away - a tire light on my van caused distress. I went to Discount Tire at 1357 S. Power Rd. in Mesa and can only say the service was EXCEPTIONAL!! I was greeted by Alea who checked my tires and noted they were 7 years old and beginning to dry rot. She got me worked into the bay for repairs (and the place was packed). In short order Ben came into the waiting room and called my name. Not only did he fix the front tire that had a headless bolt in it, he also built up the stem on my other front tire. You cannot imagine my gratitude when I drove away assured I could make it to the dentist on the 60 and not have a blowout! We will definitely be going there to get the new tires needed! I've been to this Discount Tire twice. The first time they did a great job and fixed a flat for me. That's why I'm giving two stars instead of one. Several months later my low tire light came on in the afternoon when I was coming home from work. I'm prone to picking up nails quite often, so I looked to see if I could find a nail, but didn't see it. So I drove to Discount Tire to have them inspect my tires to find the issue. I stood in the middle of the store waiting forever for someone to help me. One guy was so focused on chitchatting with the ladies in yoga pants and fake eyelashes that I knew he was never going to be of any help. The others walked around talking to each other and threw out an occasional, "Someone with be with you shortly" comment. Finally, a guy came over and asked what I needed. I told him my low tire light was on and I would like my tires inspected. He gets out his handy-dandy sensor detector and tells me all my sensors are dead and that's why my light came on. Never even looked at the tires themselves. So, wait. You're trying to tell me that all my sensors just happened to die at once while I was at work and that's the only reason why my light is on? Because the light wasn't on in the morning. Then he tries to sell me tires. Yes, I know I'm due for tires, but it wasn't a dire situation that needed addressed at that moment. I told him several times, okay. But I want to know if I have a nail in my tire. Can they please check them? I don't want to get stranded somewhere and I had to be at work in the morning. When he realized I wasn't buying tires from him right then, he tells me I can go over there and get air put in them. Clearly no intention of making sure my tires are safe to drive on. So I gave up on this clown and had air put in. I KNEW I should have gone to Costco in the first place. Definitely will from now on. 12 hours later my car was totaled.
